Abstract

This research aims to find out the differences in the influence of using project based learning models and conventional learning methods on the learning motivation of class XI students in economics subjects at SMAN 15 Muaro Jambi. The research design that will be carried out in this research is quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research results show that there are differences in the use of project based learning models and conventional learning models. The influence of student learning motivation using the project based learning learning model is better than the influence of student learning motivation using conventional learning models even though they both have a good motivational influence on learning.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effectiveness of the conventional learning model for understanding the concepts of economics subject class XII IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City, (2) to determine the effectiveness of the flipped classroom learning model for understanding the concept of economics subject for XII IPS class students in SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City, (3) to find out the comparison of the effectiveness of learning using conventional and flipped classroom learning models on understanding the concept of economics subjects for class XII IPS students at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. The design in this research is quantitative research, using quasi-experimental methods. The population in this study were students of class XII IPS, with a total sample of 58 students. While the data analysis technique used is ancova analysis technique with the help of the SPSS version 21 program. The results of this study indicate that (1) students' conceptual understanding in economics subjects using conventional models is low, this is evident from the number of students who received low scores at the time of the study, (2) students' conceptual understanding in economics subjects used the Flipped model. Classroom has increased, this is evident from the presentation of the highest score in the experimental class 60 while the control class is 58, (3) there is a very significant difference in students' understanding of concepts before using the Flipped Classroom model and after using the Flipped Classroom model where the largest presentation in the control class ranges from 36 -41 and in the experimental class the largest percentage is in the range of 48-53. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out (1) To describe the marketing strategy of Rismato's tempeh home industry in Rajawali Village, Jambi City. (2) To find out the description of the welfare of the Tempe Rismanto home industry employees in Rajawali Village, Jambi City. This research design uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques through observation (observation), questionnaires (questionnaire), and interviews. Where the population in this study were 30 respondents with a sample of 30 respondents. The research instrument test technique used in this study is the Validity and Reliability Test, while the classical assumption test used is Descriptive Analysis, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Simple Regression Test, while this Hypothesis Test is Partial Test. The results of this study indicate that (1) The marketing strategy is included in the fairly good category with the achievement of an average TCR value of 78.10%. (2) Employee welfare is in the good category with an average TCR score of 81.90%. That is, the marketing strategy has a strong influence on a product to be marketed, while the welfare of employees is remuneration provided directly or indirectly to improve the financial condition of employees, and with a marketing strategy it can increase income and affect employee welfare.Keywords: Marketing Strategy, Employee Welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) to determine the description of learning motivation, learning readiness, and student learning outcomes in economics class XI social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City, 2) to determine learning motivation on student learning outcomes in economics class XI subjects. Social Studies at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City, 3) to determine the effect of learning readiness on student learning outcomes in economics class XI social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City, 4) to determine the effect of learning motivation and learning readiness on student learning outcomes in subjects economics class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. The design in this research is quantitative research, using survey method. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS, with a total sample of 82 students. Meanwhile , the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis . The results of the data analysis using the multiple regression formula with the help of the SPSS version 21 program were obtained: 1) learning motivation got a respondent's achievement score of 78.08% with a good enough category, learning readiness of respondents' achievement value of 68.28% with a good enough category and learning outcomes student value < 67 is 48.54%, learning outcomes with student scores = 67 are 2.92%, and learning outcomes with student scores > 67 are 48.54% with a fairly good category; 2) there is an effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes of 0.589; 3) there is an effect of learning readiness on learning outcomes of 0.513; 4) there is an effect of motivation and learning readiness on learning outcomes of 0.417 and 0.288, this means that there is a significant influence between learning motivation and learning readiness on learning outcomes of students of class XI social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. Keywords: Motivation, Readiness, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine (1) the description of e-learning and the level of understanding of students in class XI IPS on economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. (2) the effect of e-learning on the level of understanding of class XI IPS students on economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. This research design uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Where the population in this study were 143 students with a sample of 106 students. The research instrument test technique used in this study is the validity and reliability test, while the classical assumption test used is Descriptive Analysis, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Simple Regression Test. The results showed that (1) e-learning was included in the very poor category with an average TCR value of 49.52%, and the level of student understanding of 66.25% in the fairly good category. (2) E-learning has an influence on the level of understanding which can be seen from tcount > ttable of 2.024 > 1.658. So, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. That is, if the use of e-learning is carried out well in schools, it can train students' independence in the teaching and learning process, and the level of student understanding will be better if students can understand a material using e-learning.Keywords: E-Learning Learning, Level of Understanding

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model on the critical thinking abilities of class X students at SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City. This type of research uses quantitative research methods with a descriptive analysis approach and simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the research show that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model has a significant and positive effect on the critical thinking abilities of class X students at SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City. Thus, Problem Based Learning carried out in class X at SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City can improve students' critical thinking.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine (1) the description of the economic status of parents, interest in learning, and learning outcomes of class X IPS in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. (2) The effect of the economic status of parents on the learning outcomes of class X IPS in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. (3) The effect of interest in learning on student learning outcomes of class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. (4) The effect of the economic status of parents and interest in learning on the learning outcomes of class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. This research design uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires. Where the population in this study were 102 students with a sample of 83 students. The data processing techniques in this research are Validity Test, Reliability Test, Quantitative Descriptive Analysis, Homogeneity Test Normality Test, Simple Regression Test, Multiple Regression Test, and Hypothesis Test. The results of this study indicate that (1) the economic status of the parents obtained a TCR value of 80.65% with a good category, interest in learning to obtain a TCR value of 81.21% in a good category, and students who obtained a value above 7.6 %) students and students who score below the KKM are 35 (34%) students. (2) There is an effect of the economic status of parents on the learning outcomes of class X IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City of 2.410. (3) There is an effect of interest in learning on student learning outcomes of class X IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City of 2,394. (4) There is an effect of the economic status of parents and interest in learning on the learning outcomes of class X IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Kota with an Fcount of 3.840 with a significant value of 0.025. Thus, that parents and teachers play an important role in fostering student interest, because students' interest in learning is not only from the factors of parents and family but also from within the students themselves. In the learning process, every support has meaning, meaning and an important role in the growth and development of students' activities in carrying out learning interaction. Keywords: Parents' Economic Status, Learning Interest, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the causes of children dropping out of school in RT. 01 and RT. 02 Kasang Village, East Jambi District. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. The research results show the factors that cause children to drop out of school in RT. 01 and RT. 02 Kasang Village, East Jambi District. namely, family economic causes that cause children to drop out of school, lack of parental attention that causes children to drop out of school, and family environment. However, analytically it can be clearly seen that family economic factors dominate the causes of dropping out of school among children in RT. 01 and RT. 02 Kasang Village, East Jambi District.
