Abstract

Mangrove is a plant that plays a significant role in the balance of the ecosystem and coastal environment. Batam Island which is one of the island in Batam island become one of the areas rich in mangrove plants. As time goes by, mangrove forests are getting worse. This research uses SPOT-5 imagery data in analyzing mangrove density value in Batam island with MSAVI (Modified Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index) method. The results of this study have mangrove density in Batam Island which is divided into four classes, which is very tenuous, tenuous, medium, and very tightly where Batam Island is dominated by a class of density. Theoretically, NDVI values range from -1 to +1 but the mangrove vegetation index values are generally in the range between +0,1 to +0,7. NDVI values greater than this range are associated with a representation of a better level of vegetation health in the islands of Batam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa di SMA yang dapat disebabkan oleh faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Faktor eksternal, seperti metode dan strategi pembelajaran. Faktor internal, seperti emosi siswa atau kecemasan terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini hendak mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 2 Kota Serang. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengambil 3 kelas sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) rata-rata keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa adalah siswa yang memiliki kecemasan rendah memiliki skor yang sama dengan siswa yang memiliki kecemasan sedang, dan siswa yang memiliki kecemasan sedang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki kecemasan tinggi, dan siswa yang memiliki kecemasan rendah memiliki skor lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki kecemasan tinggi 2) ada hubungan negatif antara kecemasan dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah 3) semakin tinggi tingkat kecemasan, semakin rendah keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika berdasarkan tingkat kecemasan, ada hubungan antara kecemasan matematika dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika dan ada pengaruh antara kecemasan matematika dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of Foreign Language Institute Management in Improving the Arabic and English Language Skills of Santri at Modern Misbahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive survey techniques. The data presentation is done using comparative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of foreign language institute management can improve the Arabic and English language skills of students. The successful implementation of foreign language institute management is one of the foreign language institute management that is created and has been carried out in misbahul ulum modern pesantren, namely providing vocabulary (mufradat / vocabulary), language changes, muhadatsah (conversation), making mufradat exams, inter-dormitory drama, making place name boards in each pesantren area and strengthening foreign languages. The research output produced through the management of foreign language institutions in improving the Arabic and English language skills of santri is to produce graduates who not only master religious knowledge, but also have superior foreign language skills.

Abstract

Granulated coconut sugar is a powdered coconut sugar manufactured by Purworejo farmers from the sap of the coconut. Farmers' usage of simple technologies is the primary cause of environmental problems due to poor efficiency levels and uncontrolled emission emissions. The objectives of this research were to identify the stages of the granulated coconut sugar production farmer level process, from coconut sap to farmers' granulated coconut sugar, and then analyze the total environmental impact of granulated coconut sugar production farmer level process using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach and the CML-IA Baseline calculation method. The study's scope included an inventory of "gate-to-gate" inputs and outputs, computation of each stage of the process from sap heating to granulated coconut sugar, and interpretation of the calculation results. The amount of impact created per 1 kg of farmer-produced coconut sugar was employed as the unit of function in the analysis of the consequent environmental impact. SimaPro 9.4.0.2 software was used to calculate environmental impact analysis. The GWP impact of manufacturing 1 kilogram of farmer granulated coconut sugar was 4.76E-02 kg CO2 eq, the AP impact was 9.45E-04 kg SO2 eq, and the EP impact was 2.77E-04 kg PO4 eq. The biggest GWP effect contribution indicator was the use of LPG, which was 2.89E-02 kg CO2 eq, while the largest AP and EP impact contribution indicator was the use of firewood, which was 8.16E-04 kg SO2 eq and 2.12E-04 kg PO4 eq. The improvement scenario of the granulated coconut sugar production farmer level process, namely substituting the use of firewood with rice husks, reduces 85% of the total AP impact and reduces 93% of the total EP impact. Abstract

In the ocean, acoustic waves are transmitted into the subsurface ocean will experience scattering (scattering) caused by marine organisms, material distributed, the structure is not homogeneous in seawater, as well as reflections from the surface and the seabed. Estimation of fish stocks in the waters wide as in Indonesia have a lot of them are using the acoustic method. The acoustic method has high speed in predicting the size of fish stocks so as to allow acquiring data in real time, accurate and high speed so as to contribute fairly high for the provision of data and information of fishery resources. Split beam echo sounder comprises two aspects, and a transducer. The first aspect is the high-resolution color display for displaying echogram at some observations and also serves as a controller in the operation of the echo sounder. The second aspect is transceiver consisting of transmitter and receiver. The echosounder divided beam first inserted into the ES 3800 by SIMRAD beginning of the 1980s and in 1985 was introduced to fishermen in Japan as a tool for catching up. Split beam transducer is divided into four quadrants. Factors that contribute affect the value of Target Strength (TS) fish Strength target can generally be influenced by three factors: a target factor itself, environmental factors, and factors acoustic instrument.
