Abstract

This study addresses the issue of low student interest in math learning and aims to enhance their engagement through the implementation of the Participatory Learning and Knowledge Exchange Model (PALKEM) approach. The research focuses on a sample of 15 fifth-grade students, consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls, with the objective of investigating the impact of the PALKEM approach on student learning. The findings reveal a significant increase in student interest during the instructional cycles, with all 15 students (100%) demonstrating heightened engagement. These outcomes suggest that the utilization of the PALKEM approach effectively enhances students' interest in math learning. The results provide promising implications for improving students' motivation and involvement in the subject matter, specifically within the context of the LPS (math) curriculum. Therefore, the PALKEM approach emerges as a potential solution for addressing the issue of low interest in math learning and promoting a more engaging and effective learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas III SD Negeri 106154 Desa Kota Rantan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 41 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Penyajian data dan analisis data terkait penelitian hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa data diambil dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya data di analisis dengan menggunakan uji t-test, berdasarkan perhitungan t-test pada perhitungan dengan bantuan SPSS Statistics 20 diperoleh thitung yaitu 2.480 dengan nilai Sig. 0,025. Karena nilai sig. 0.025 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh media puzzle pada pelajaran Matematika materi Pecahan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 106154 Desa Kota Rantang.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of Lift The Flap Book on Indonesian cultural diversity material for students to determine the level of feasibility of media development, as well as determine the level of practicality of the media through teacher responses and after students use Lift The Flap Book media about Indonesian cultural diversity. The research method uses a 4D model with the Research and Development (R&D) method. This research model uses 4 steps, namely Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. The data collection techniques used were material expert validation questionnaires and media expert validation questionnaires to determine the level of suitability of the media as well as response questionnaires for assessment of class teachers/teachers and students to determine the practicality level of the Flap Book Lift The Media. The research and development subjects were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia, Beringin District. The results of research and development produced a design in the form of Lift The Flap Book media to introduce the cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia to fourth grade students at SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia, Beringin District, which received a score of 88.89%, by material experts and received a score of 71.17%. by experts. media. Based on the description above, the product developed by the researcher is suitable for use as a learning medium.
