Abstract

Mathematics lessons are considered difficult because some students do not understand mathematical concepts so they feel bored and bored. The cause of low mathematics learning outcomes is because students are often sleepy during math lessons in the last hour. The purpose of this study is to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the Snowball Throwing learning model for the fifth grade of SD Ade Irma Suryani Sei Rotan T.A. 2021-2022. This type of research is classroom action (CAR). The cycle is carried out through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through observation and tests, using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The subjects in this study were class V students, totaling 20 students. Based on data analysis that the increase in student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle the average value is 67.1 with a sufficient category. In the first cycle after the action, the average value was 71.3 with a good category and an increase of 8.99. In the second cycle there was an increase of 3.35 with a cumulative average value of 74.76 in the good category. Keywords: Learning Outcomes; Mathematics; Snowball Throwing Models

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas III SD Negeri 106154 Desa Kota Rantan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 41 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Penyajian data dan analisis data terkait penelitian hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa data diambil dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya data di analisis dengan menggunakan uji t-test, berdasarkan perhitungan t-test pada perhitungan dengan bantuan SPSS Statistics 20 diperoleh thitung yaitu 2.480 dengan nilai Sig. 0,025. Karena nilai sig. 0.025 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh media puzzle pada pelajaran Matematika materi Pecahan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 106154 Desa Kota Rantang.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping learning model compared to conventional methods in improving science learning outcomes in Grade 5 at SDN 060955 Paya Pasir. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consists of two classes, with 33 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class. Data analysis uses t-test and N-Gain calculations. The results show that learning using Mind Mapping is significantly more effective in enhancing students' understanding and retention compared to conventional methods, with a t-value (6.121) greater than the t-table value (1.67) at a 5% significance level. This indicates that Mind Mapping can be considered an effective method for teaching science in elementary schools. The implication of this study is the importance of integrating innovative learning models such as Mind Mapping into the school curriculum to enhance learning effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of family socio-economic conditions on the learning outcomes of students at SDN No. 101810 Gunung Manaon. This research is a quantitative study using an ex post facto approach, which is causal associative in nature. Data were obtained through questionnaires given to 40 respondents. The variables studied include parental education level, family income, household asset ownership, and family needs/expenditure fulfillment. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression with the help of SPSS Version 20 for Windows. The results showed that the father's education level did not affect students' learning outcomes, while the mother's education level, family income, household asset ownership, and family needs fulfillment had a positive and significant influence on students' learning outcomes. The contribution of all independent variables in explaining the dependent variable was 68.06%, with the remaining 31.94% explained by other variables outside the model.
