Abstract

Restlessness and anxi ety problem of modern soci ety comes fromindividual psychological (internal factor) and from political and socialfactors such as di scriminati on and inj usti ce. To overcome thoseproblems, i mpl ementi ng psychodynamic theory, behavi ori sm,humanism and multiculturalism are not enough. We are introduced tothe fifth approach, that is, Islamic approach. The approach which is basedon the belief, religious knowledge, and worship practices becomes theguidelines, techniques and destination Islamic counseling. The Islamiccounseling is aimed at preventive, curative, rehabilitative development,using spiritual methods which are based on the counselee. Spiritualmethods with techniques of spiritual practice, establish compassion,and reflection al Qudwah al-hasanah. Counselee-centered method is doneby discussion and advice according to the counselees’ interests and values.A counselee is free to choose, plan, decide the behavior and values thatare meaningful to him.

Abstract

Diversity (multicultural) is the reality of life. In Madrasah Aliyah, themul ti cul tural phenomenon of students also occurs, due toethnographic, demographi c and status variabl es. In Isl am,diversity is for li-taarofu, knowing and understanding and helping.Counseling assistance to students requires the competence ofmulticultural counseling (KKM). This study describes KKM Guru BKMadrasah Aliyah, including awareness, knowledge and skills ofmulticultural counseli ng and training program of teacher'scompetence improvement BK. This research is a case study withqualitative descriptive. The subject of the research is the teacher ofBK MA alumni of Counseling and Counseling Training at the ReligiousTraining Center of Surabaya. Data collection using questionnairesand interviews. Data analysis was done descriptively qualitative. Theresults showed that, 14 % of teachers BK MA have low competenceand 86% high. Mul ticultural counsel ing as a service to themulticultural client is also increasingly important, so that the trainingfor the increased competence of the BK Teachers is required.Programs of training appropriate to the multicultural component ofcounseling and experimental learning model based on andragogycan be applied to BK Teachers. Increasing the competence ofmulticultural counseling needs to get the attention of Education Hallby designing curriculum and multicultural-oriented syllabus syllabus.

Abstract

Bangsa Indonesia adalah masyarakat beragam budaya dengan sifat kemajemukannya. Keragaman mencakupperbedaan budaya, agama, ras, bahasa, suku, tradisi dan sebagainya. Dalam masyarakat multibudaya yangdemikian, sering terjadi ketegangan dan konflik antar kelompok budaya dan berdampak pada keharmonisanhidup. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah membahas keragaman budaya bangsa Indonesia, moderasi beragamadalam keragaman dan peran penyuluh agama dalam mewujudkan kedamaian bangsa Indonesia. Metode yangdigunakan adalah penelitian pustaka. Kesimpulan kajian ini adalah bahwa dalam kehidupan multikulturaldiperlukan pemahaman dan kesadaran multibudaya yang menghargai perbedaan, kemajemukan dan kemauanberinteraksi dengan siapapun secara adil. Diperlukan sikap moderasi beragama berupa pengakuan ataskeberadaan pihak lain, memiliki sikap toleran, penghormatan atas perbedaan pendapat dan tidak memaksakankehendak dengan cara kekerasan. Diperlukan peran pemerintah, tokoh masyarakat, dan para penyuluh agamauntuk mensosialisasikan, menumbuhkembangkan moderasi beragama kepada masyarakat demi terwujudnyakeharmonisan dan kedamaian.

Abstract

This study is aimed at evaluating distance training. Evaluation uses context, input, process and product theory. This research is a survey with a quantitative descriptive approach. Research respondents were 35 teachers of Guidance and Counseling at Madrasah Aliyah East Java. The research instrument is a questionnaire uploaded on google form. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results showed that distance training was carried out in the medium category. Judging from the context and input from the participants, it shows a moderate category, so it is necessary to improve infrastructure and support from participants. In the process and product components, it shows a medium category with a high tendency.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling service innovation in the pandemic era is a necessity. Guidance and counseling services are carried out online, becoming a service model that is widely applied in madrasas. This study aims to describe the innovation of guidance and counseling services in madrasas. This study uses a survey approach and literature review. A literature review was carried out to examine various innovations in counseling services during the pandemic, while the difficulties of students in online-based counseling services were carried out in a survey. Research respondents are 383 students who receive online guidance and counseling services at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and interviews with 30 Guidance and counseling teachers. The research instrument was sent by uploading a google form to the respondent. Data processing was carried out by descriptive statistics, while the data from interviews were analyzed deductively and qualitatively. The results showed that the innovation of guidance and counseling services was carried out on student needs assessment activities, counseling services, group guidance and classical services. The online service media used are Telephone, Video Call, WA, Facebook Messenger, e-learning, Google class, Youtube live streaming, Zoom, Google Meet which connects Guidance and counseling teachers with students. The process of online guidance and counseling services at madrasas is fun and easy and effective for students. In the implementation of online services, there are still obstacles in the guidance and counseling service infrastructure.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a national program to create a peaceful life. The attitude of religious moderation is developed in madrasas as the main values ​​of life. The movement to realize religious moderation in madrasas needs to be started by teachers with an attitude of religious moderation. This study aims to describe the attitude of religious moderation of madrasa teachers and strategies for developing religious moderation in madrasas. The research begins with a literature review to examine the concept of religious moderation, attitudes of religious moderation and educational strategies for religious moderation. The research respondents were 111 madrasa teachers who participated in the training organized by the Surabaya Religious Education and Training Center. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire. The research instrument is in the form of a standardized religious moderation attitude scale, a questionnaire sent via google form upload to respondents. Data processing was carried out by descriptive statistics. The results showed that the religious moderation attitude of madrasa teachers was in the medium and high categories. Teachers' religious moderation attitudes vary in terms of education level, teacher job background, teaching specialization, employment status and gender. The attitude of religious moderation is important in realizing a peaceful life, therefore it is recommended to increase the attitude of religious moderation in teachers.
