Abstract

Abstract Purpose - This research purposes to know the functions of El-Jidal Reborn management for Arabic debate training organizing for organizing speaking skills. Design/methodology/approach - The research is descriptive field research. The primary data sources are obtained from interviews with the organization's supervisor, leader, minister, and coordinator. Findings/result - The results of this study are the organizing to achieve better implementation of debate training for improving their speaking skill that preparing the training schedule for the debate. They also recorded the training process as an instrument of evaluation. Originality/value - in managing the organization, strengthens solidarity and synergy between ministries so that the functions create interesting and interactive debate training. So that students' speaking skills can be improved. Paper type - Research paper

Abstract

This study aims to capture the image of Muslim youth in the national media Jawa Pos online using corpus-based linguistic analysis. The tendency and alignment of the media in portraying Muslim youth can lead to positive, negative, and neutral public opinion. This research is a text study using a quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach, by collecting news with the keywords Muslim/Islamic youth on Jawapos online and obtaining 39 news stories with 12,636 words. The news text is then analyzed and applied using Antcont to obtain linguistic features of word frequency, collocation, and concordance with descriptive linguistic analysis. The research results show that; the frequency of words that are significant means that the Jawa Pos online in reporting on Muslim youth tends to be general, with the involvement of government activities in places of worship, namely masjid. The emergence of collocations tends to be more about reporting on mosque youth, although there is a tendency for political elements and implies messages and actions that must be carried out by youth. Whereas with the emergence of concordance, this media provides definitions to opinions about the meaning of Muslim youth in general, both negative, neutral, and positive, and more often generates news with a positive and balanced tendency. From this result, the Indonesian national media should report in a balanced manner in constructing the image of Muslim youth in Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim.Keywords -  Corpus Analysis, Imaging, Muslim Youth, National Online Media.

Abstract

Kisah Nabi Ibrahim yang banyak dijelaskan di dalam al-Qur’an mempunyai relevansi terhadap pendidikan Islam. Tulisan ini ingin menelusuri bagaimana nilai pendidikan ketauhidan, akhlak dan kepemimpinan (leadership) Nabi Ibrahim AS dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari jurnal, artikel dan buku serta ayat-ayat Qur’aniyah yang terdapat dalam beberapa surat yang terkandung dalam al-Qur’an seperti surah Maryam, Al-Shaffat, An-Nujum, Hud, Al-Anbiya’, Al-An’am, An-Nahl, Al-Baqarah, dan Al-Mumtahanah. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan ketauhidan dari Nabi Ibrahim yang dapat dijadikan rujukan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) seperti keteguhan hati tanpa keraguan dalam bertauhid kepada Allah SWT, juga pendidikan akhlak seperti nilai kejujuran, kesabaran, kesantunan, menepati janji, keberanian, kedermawanan, ramah dan kelembutan. Sedangkan dalam bidang kepemimpinan, Ibrahim adalah seorang pemimpin yang berani, visioner dan memiliki suri tauladan yang baik bagi umatnya, serta bertanggungjawab.

Abstract

The aim of this research to find out and explain how supervision and evaluation management occurs in the Arabic language learning program of At-Tanwir Language Center. The background of this research is At-Tanwir Language Center (ALC) as an extracurricular organization of Arabic language learning for At-Tanwir Islamic Junior and Senior High School students who have an interest and talent in Arabic language. This research used descriptive qualitative research that used interview, observation and documentation techniques for collecting the data. The results of this research showed that supervision of the ALC learning program is internal supervision, active and passive supervision as well as preventive and repressive supervision. Carried out by ALC supervisors through the ALC chair, including active supervision by directly observing the program in progress, and passive supervision by viewing teacher and student attendance lists, teaching journals, and other learning tools. As well as preventive and repressive supervision which carried out to plan and implement the program, it runs effectively and efficiently and this supervision also carried out after learning activities and carried out in order to find out the results of program implementation and evaluate the deviations. Meanwhile, the program evaluation carried out continuously once a month. It also carried out at the end of each learning semester. As for the reporting learning outcomes, ALC divides it into 2 parts, namely short-term and long-term evaluation. This supervision and evaluation carried out for continuous improvement that will be carried out every year to improve the program. Through this research, the monitoring and evaluation management process at course institutions, especially Arabic, is known. As for suggestions for future researchers, they can continue research on the influence of supervision and evaluation on the development of an institution.

Abstract

Management of a conducive and supportive Arabic learning environment is a challenge for Arabic learning program managers. Therefore, the Student Association of the Arabic Language Education Department (HMPS PBA) IAIN Bone applied learning environment management through the implementation of the Arabic Language Camp program using an outdoor learning model specifically for new PBA IAIN Bone students. The implementation of the program was inseparable from the importance of implementing the actuating function in learning environment management. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the Arabic Language Camp program and the implementation of the actuating function in learning environment management in the Arabic Language Camp program in terms of leadership, motivation, and communication aspects. The approach used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive methods and uses in-depth interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The informants are the directors, the committee, and the participants of this program. The results of this study showed that the Arabic Language Camp program was running well as planned. In addition, the implementation of the actuating function (leadership, motivation, and communication) in learning environment management is also going well. Therefore, participants felt that the managed learning environment was very conducive and supported Arabic language learning. This research can be used as a reference for institutions that want to manage a good learning environment. Further research can focus on other management functions, such as planning, organizing, and controlling.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of supervision and evaluation as part of the program management function. Supervision and evaluation of the program need to be carried out to measure its success and feasibility. The purpose of this study is to find out how the management supervision, and evaluation of the context, input, process and product model in muhadatsah sobahiyah program at Darussalam Gontor for Girls Islamic Boarding School 2. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. All data is obtained through observation, Semi-structured interviews, and documentation techniques. Triangulation is performed to test the credibility of the data. Participants in this study consisted of 5 language supervisors, three of whom were members of the Language Advisory Council and two were members of the Central Language Improvement. The research results showed that the supervision process was carried out by the deputy caretaker, Language Advisory Council, Central Language Improvement, and the regional language section. Muhadatsah supervision at Gontor for Girls Campus 2 includes internal, repressive, preventive, active and passive supervision as well as formal truth supervision. It was also discovered that supervision of the program was carried out collaboratively. while the evaluation carried out on the program consists of 4 elements, namely context, process input, and product. So far, the muhadatsah program at Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor for Girls Campus 2 has run according to expectations and desired goals. The advice for researchers can then continue research on supervision and evaluation of other learning programs in an institution. In addition, this research can be one of the references for academics in efforts to implement supervision and evaluation of programs, especially the Arabic language education program.
