The Pavement Condition Index Functional Evaluation of Runway Pavement Used Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Method (Case Study : Fatmawati Soekarno Airport Provinsi Bengkulu) Tody Amanah

Abstract

Maintenance of air transportation infrastructure, in the pavement system section at Fatmawati Airport, Bengkulu Province and other airports in Indonesia, must had high performance, safety, security, reliability and sustainability. Routine inspection activities at major airports in Indonesia usually use the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method as a parameter. This journal examines handling costs, handling periods and the minimum based on the reduction in PCI values due to existing traffic loads by building several types of handling scenarios. In addition, it also evaluates the structural performance of the runway pavement. The results of the PCI value analysis show that it is decreasing every year. This decline prediction used forecasting from previously obtained data. For 2016 the PCI value obtained was 89 (satisfactory), 2017 was 83 (satisfactory), and 2018 was 73 (sufficient). Based on the PCI value of 3 years and the growth in aircraft traffic, the impairment can be calculated by modeling the equation. The PCI prediction value in 2019 is 66 (fair), the PCI value in 2020 is 60 (fair), and the PCI value in 2021 is 54 (poor). It can be concluded that the increasing growth of aircraft traffic with routine maintenance will make the PCI value on the runway pavement decrease every year.

Abstract

Balai Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Bengkulu was born based on PUPR Regulation Number. 26 of2020. The Function is the implementation of feasibility studies, surveys, investigation, and evaluation ofplanning for the technical field of road and bridge including road safety. The Important type of survey arelongitudinal profile survey International Roughness Index (IRI), and Pavement Condition Index (PCI). TheMethod is to examined secondary data obtained from literature review and analyzed financial data (NetPresent Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, and Payback Period. The author builds four scenarios (pessimistic,medium, optimistic, and do nothing). The Benefit Cost Ratio for the scenario 1 (pessimist) is 0.33, thescenario 2 (medium) is 1.54, the scenario 3 (optimistic) is 2.82, and the scenario 4 (do-nothing) is N/A.Value of Payback Period for the scenario 2 (medium) is 5.62 years, and the scenario 3 (optimistic) is 2.79years. Based on the analysis, the decision to purchase a Hawkeye 2000 digital laser profilemeter withinBPJN Bengkulu is financially feasible as long as the hawkeye used not only for Internal, but as a source ofPNBP from client like private sector or provincial government, and distric or city governments in BengkuluProvince.

Abstract

Various alternative solutions to reduce waste continue to be sought and developed. This includes fly ash and bottom ash which are waste products from burning coal, one of which is produced by Steam Power Plants (PLTU). So the increasing need for electricity will also be followed by an increase in the amount of waste. This type of waste is utilized in various fields of science, such as agriculture, industry and quite a lot in the construction sector. As a field that continues to develop along with people's need to live and move, utilization in the construction sector has great potential as a solution to reduce this waste. The use of fly ash and bottom ash in construction material mixtures as a quality enhancer or simply to reduce the use of natural materials continues to be carried out. This research will focus on the utilization of waste at a large percentage on a construction product scale. Substitution in the composition of the mortar mixture which is the initial product shows the effect of improving quality at a relatively low percentage in the variations used in this research. However, the full substitution of this waste as a substitute for natural materials, namely fine aggregate, is still in a fairly good range, especially in the composition of mortar mixtures with relatively low quality targets or in composition ratios with more aggregate material than cement or binder.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang makin lama makin meningkat mengakibatkan penggunaan moda transportasi udara juga semakin meningkat. Penggunaan transportasi udara lebih disukai karena dapat menjangkau daerah yang cukup jauh dengan waktu tempuh yang lebih singkat. Pada sektor ekonomi juga diuntungkan dengan adanya transportasi udara, semua orang dapat membeli barang dari manapun mereka berada tanpa harus ketempat tersebut. Untuk meningkatkan pelayanan pada sektor penerbangan salah satu hal yang dilakukan yaitu menambah jumlah pesawat dengan kapasitas besar. Dengan bertambahnya jumlah pesawat mengakibatkan beban yang melalui runway bandara semakin besar. Untuk mengetahui apakah runway cukup kuat dalam menahan beban pesawat, evaluasi terhadap tebal perkerasan runway harus dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan software COMFAA. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu data pesawat yang melalui bandara Fatmawati, data CBR lapangan dan data eksisting perkerasan runway bandara Fatmawati. Data tebal perkerasan eksisting pada runway bandara untuk STA 0+100 sampai 1+800 yaitu 105 cm dan STA 1+800 sampai 2+250 yaitu 107,5cm, dengan nilai CBR lapangan 6% dan jenis pesawat B737-900ER serta A320 Twin opt. Hasil analisis menggunakan COMFAA menunjukkan nilai PCN > ACN dan nilai CDF < 1. Sehingga perkerasan runway bandara Fatmawati Soekarno masih layak dan aman digunakan untuk jenis pesawat Boeing 737-900 ER dan A320 Twin opt.
