Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the e-module on students' critical and creative thinking knowledge in science learning. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research type with meta-analysis. Data or sources are obtained from articles published in international and national journals that are selected based on categories, namely those related to the influence of e-modules on students' critical and creative thinking knowledge. There were 20 articles used in this study which were then coded and analyzed for their effect size. Based on the results of data analysis, the effect size results for knowledge of critical thinking are in the very high category, for knowledge of creative thinking also has the very high category, meanwhile, the effect of the e-module on students' critical and creative thinking knowledge based on junior high school, senior high school and tertiary education levels has a very high category. Then in the science field, namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology lessons, they have an effect size in the very high category. The results of the analysis show that the effect of the e-module on students' critical and creative thinking knowledge is very high

Abstract

This research was carried out to develop a learning resource type of learning media in the form of guided inquiry-based teaching materials. So, preliminary study research is needed which consists of literature study and field study. The type of research carried out was qualitative descriptive research. The data collection instruments for this research are interview sheets, teacher needs analysis questionnaires, and student needs analysis questionnaires. The teaching materials developed are in the form of (e-modules) electronic modules that can contain text, images and learning videos, as an independent learning effort that is arranged systematically. To create an e-module using the Canva application. A needs analysis is carried out to determine the learning resources used by teachers, obstacles when learning takes place, and the learning resources needed by students. The results of the analysis of teacher needs show that religious analysis is 83% in the good category, attitude analysis is 94% in the very good category, knowledge analysis is 65% in the sufficient category, performance analysis is 83% in the good category, analysis of learning difficulties is 58% in the poor category, material analysis teaching 50% in the poor category and model analysis 67% in the sufficient category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of students' needs show that motivation analysis is 70% in the sufficient category, interest analysis is 50% in the poor category, attitude analysis is 81% in the good category, creative thinking analysis is 49% in the poor category and material analysis is 48% in the poor category. These results indicate the need to develop teaching materials in the form of e-modules based on guided inquiry on global warming.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a physics e-module on global warming mitigation material based on guided inquiry with valid and practical categories. The type of research used is Research and Development development research. The research model used is the Van Den Akker development model. This model consists of four stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, summative evaluation and reflection and documentation. The data used in this study are needs analysis data, validation and practicality. The instruments used are preliminary questionnaires, validation sheets, and practicality sheets. Data analysis techniques for needs analysis and practicality tests use descriptive analysis, analysis of validity using the Aiken's V formula. The results of this study are that the physics e-module on global warming mitigation material based on guided inquiry is in the valid category and the practicality level of the e-module is in the very practical category by teachers and students.
