Abstract

Limited land in the city of Bekasi is not an obstacle to farming. The idea that sparked in the minds of the residents of Mustika Jaya, Bekasi City was to form an Amanah Hidroponik Farmer Group in the Cimuning sub-district, Mustika Jaya District, Bekasi City as a Beginner's group with the inspiration to grow plants on public facility land called hydroponics. The problems faced are the low role and participation of residents in efforts to record ppm data and water temperature every 1 hour and a lack of knowledge about the importance of the data recorded on ppm data and water temperature every 1 hour. Through this community service activity, Training is given to farmers to monitor changes in PPM and water temperature through the application of digital technology. The ease of processing ppm information through the Android mobile application in real-time and the ability and success of mixing nutrient water and clean water by the ppm value that has been determined for the nutrition of each type of plant. This community service activity provides benefits for hydroponic plant farmers in controlling nutritions and monitoring plants. Apart from that, it can also reduce the risk of crop failure because it is controlled using a smartphone and also in real-time.Keterbatasan lahan di kota Bekasi ternyata bukanlah hambatan untuk bertani. Tercetus di benak warga Mustika Jaya, kota Bekasi untuk membentuk Kelompok Tani “Amanah Hidroponik” kelurahan Cimuning, Kecamatan Mustika Jaya, Kota Bekasi untuk menumbuhkan tanaman di atas lahan fasum yang disebut hidroponik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya peran dan partisipasi warga dalam upaya pencatatan data ppm dan suhu air setiap 1 jam dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pentingnya data hasil pencatatan data ppm dan suhu air setiap 1 jam. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, para petani diberikan pelatihan untuk melakukan monitoring perubahan PPM dan suhu air melalui penerapan teknologi digital. Kemudahan memproses informasi ppm melalui aplikasi mobile android secara real time, dan kemampuan serta keberhasilan mencampur air nutrisi dan air bersih sudah sesuai dengan nilai ppm yang sudah ditentukan untuk nutrisi setiap jenis tanaman. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakar ini memberikan manfaat bagi petani tanaman hidroponik dalam mengontrol nutrisi dan monitoring tanaman. Selain itu juga dapat mengurangi resiko gagal panen tanaman karena sudah terkontrol dengan menggunakan smartphone dan juga realtime.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze how the application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology affects the user experience at the Wayang Museum and Fatahillah Museum. Augmented Reality technology is considered an innovation that can increase the interactivity, understanding, and satisfaction of museum visitors. With a mixed method approach, surveys, interviews, and observations were used to collect data in this study, resulting in 85% of respondents stating that AR technology increases their interactivity with museum artifacts and the average score for interactivity reached 4.3 on a scale of 5. Up to 90% of all respondents reported that AR features such as 3D animation, QR-Code, etc., allow them to understand culture and history better. In addition, there is a strong positive correlation between the use of AR technology and visitor satisfaction (r = 0.75, p < 0.01), 88% of participants expressed satisfaction with the AR-based exhibition experience. The application of this technology poses several challenges, including expensive development and maintenance, infrastructure limitations such as stable internet availability, and user devices that are not yet fully compatible. To address these barriers, it is recommended that infrastructure improvements, collaboration with technology partners, and staff training be implemented to increase understanding of how the introduction of AR technology can be used to enhance the museum visitor experience in a way that includes further integration of educational standards and interactive and enjoyable aesthetics to achieve greater potential for tourists and cultural education in general

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education requires integrated academic data management to support efficient and accountable academic governance. However, many institutions still face challenges, including data fragmentation, limited access to information, and administrative inefficiencies. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based academic dashboard system to address these issues. The system was designed using a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach, consisting of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The system’s main features include a login menu, main menu, activity menu, report menu, and statistics menu, all of which support real-time integration of academic data. The study results show that this system can improve administrative efficiency by up to 73%, particularly in processes such as course registration, grade recap, and academic report preparation. A user satisfaction survey yielded an average score of 4.6 out of 5, with positive ratings for ease of use, data access speed, and information visualization. Furthermore, the report and statistics features enable analysis of academic performance, such as graduation rates and student grade point averages, thus supporting data-driven strategic decision-making. This system has also been proven to increase collaboration between departments by up to 35%, support transparency, and strengthen accountability in higher education governance. Implementing a web-based academic dashboard can be a strategic solution to improve the quality of academic data management in higher education. This system is expected to become a model that other institutions can adopt to address the challenges of the digital transformation era. However, intensive user training and regular system maintenance are required to ensure the system’s long-term sustainability and reliability.Transformasi digital di perguruan tinggi memerlukan pengelolaan data akademik yang terintegrasi untuk mendukung efisiensi dan akuntabilitas tata kelola akademik. Namun, banyak institusi masih menghadapi tantangan seperti fragmentasi data, keterbatasan akses informasi, dan inefisiensi administrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan sistem dashboard akademik berbasis web guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi. Fitur utama sistem meliputi menu masuk, menu utama, menu aktivitas, menu laporan, dan menu statistik, yang mendukung pengintegrasian data akademik secara real-time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi hingga 73%, terutama dalam proses seperti pendaftaran mata kuliah, rekap nilai, dan penyusunan laporan akademik. Survei kepuasan pengguna mencatat rata-rata skor 4.6 dari 5, dengan penilaian positif terhadap kemudahan penggunaan, kecepatan akses data, dan visualisasi informasi. Selain itu, fitur laporan dan statistik memungkinkan analisis performa akademik, seperti tingkat kelulusan dan rata-rata nilai mahasiswa, sehingga mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis berbasis data. Sistem ini juga terbukti meningkatkan kolaborasi antarbagian hingga 35%, mendukung transparansi, dan memperkuat akuntabilitas tata kelola pendidikan tinggi. Implementasi sistem dashboard akademik berbasis web dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan data akademik di perguruan tinggi. Sistem ini diharapkan menjadi model yang dapat diadopsi oleh institusi lain dalam menghadapi tantangan era transformasi digital. Meski demikian, pelatihan intensif bagi pengguna dan pemeliharaan sistem secara berkala diperlukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan keandalan sistem dalam jangka panjang

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve big data literacy and basic data analysis skills for Vocational High School (SMK) students in West Jakarta. This activity was motivated by students' limited understanding of big data and the digital skills gap needed in the world of work in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The method used in this activity was practice-based training with an interactive approach, including the delivery of conceptual material, data processing practices using simple software, discussions, and evaluations through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and satisfaction questionnaires. The participants were 50 students from the Computer and Network Engineering and Multimedia departments, selected based on the recommendations of their accompanying teachers. The activity results showed a significant increase in students' understanding and skills. The average pre-test score of 42.3 increased to 78.6 in the post-test, indicating an increase of 85.8%. In addition, students showed a shift in learning behavior from passive to more active, including asking questions, discussing, and practicing data processing. The satisfaction questionnaire results indicated that more than 90% of participants found the training useful and relevant to their needs. Thus, this Community Service Program (PKM) activity has proven effective in improving big data literacy and basic digital analysis skills among vocational high school students. In addition to directly improving student competency, this activity produces learning modules that mentor teachers can use as supplementary teaching materials, ensuring sustainable benefits.Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi big data dan keterampilan dasar analisis data bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Jakarta Barat. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa mengenai big data serta kesenjangan keterampilan digital yang dibutuhkan di dunia kerja era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan berbasis praktik dengan pendekatan interaktif, meliputi penyampaian materi konseptual, praktik pengolahan data menggunakan perangkat lunak sederhana, diskusi, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan kuesioner kepuasan. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 50 siswa dari jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan serta Multimedia, yang dipilih berdasarkan rekomendasi guru pendamping. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa. Nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 42,3 meningkat menjadi 78,6 pada post-test, menandakan peningkatan sebesar 85,8%. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan perubahan perilaku belajar dari pasif menjadi lebih aktif dalam bertanya, berdiskusi, dan melakukan praktik pengolahan data. Hasil kuesioner kepuasan mengindikasikan bahwa lebih dari 90% peserta menilai pelatihan bermanfaat dan relevan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PkM ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi big data dan kemampuan analisis digital dasar siswa SMK. Selain memberikan dampak langsung terhadap peningkatan kompetensi siswa, kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan modul pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan guru pendamping sebagai bahan ajar tambahan, sehingga manfaatnya berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Robotics technology plays a vital role in various aspects of modern life, including automatic plant watering systems. Potted fruit plant enthusiasts often find their beloved plants dying from drought. The drought occurs due to busy schedules, forgetting to water them, or extended travel, leaving the plants unwatered and drying out until they die. This research aims to create an automatic plant watering system using a pump, a flow meter sensor, and a soil moisture sensor as a soil moisture controller, integrated with WiFi via the ESP8266 module to ensure a precise and efficient watering process. The research uses qualitative methods to explore technical and contextual aspects, including the integration of soil moisture sensors, NodeMCU microcontrollers, and the ThingSpeak IoT platform. Data were collected through direct observation, technical documentation, and activity recording during system testing. The research results in a system designed to work effectively and efficiently for watering plants and to be monitored remotely.Teknologi Robotika berperan penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan modern, salah satu penerapannya dalam sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis. Pecinta tanaman buah dalam pot sering kali menjumpai  tanaman kesayangannya mati kekeringan. Hal ini terjadi akibat kesibukan, lupa menyiram, atau bepergian dalam waktu lama, akibatnya tanaman tidak disiram sehingga mengalami kekeringan hingga mati. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis menggunakan pompa,  Sensor Flow Meter dan Sensor soil moisture sebagai pengontrol kelembaban tanah, terintegrasi dengan WiFi melalui modul ESP8266 guna memastikan proses penyiraman air secara tepat dan efisien. Penelitian menngunakan metode kualitatif dengan eksplorasi terhadap aspek teknis dan kontekstual, seperti integrasi sensor kelembaban tanah, mikrokontroler NodeMCU, dan platform IoT ThingSpeak. Data dikumpulkan melalui proses observasi langsung, dokumentasi teknis, serta pencatatan kegiatan selama pengujian sistem berlangsung. Hasil penelitian berupa  sistem yang dibuat sesuai rancangan dan bekerja secara efektif dan efisien dalam menyiram tanaman serta dapat dipantau dari jarak jauh

Abstract

The era of globalization demands that students have adequate technological skills to compete in both the academic world and the world of work. Universities and the world of work currently require students to be proficient in Microsoft Office as a minimum skill. This training is important given the need to adapt to digital transformation in education and professional demands. Microsoft Office 365 is an industry standard in the professional world. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is to create a younger generation that is more skilled in using Microsoft Office 365 applications. The activity was conducted as a training session on the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications for high school students around the ITB Swadharma campus, with a total of 23 students from 11 schools. The results of the activity were an increase in students' skills in using Microsoft Office 365, especially the Check Box feature, Logical Function, Median Function, HLookup, Max and Min, Mode, Table, VLookup, and Worksheet. Meanwhile, the Combo Box feature, Concatenate Function, Graph, Pivot Table, and Document Protection, which are not yet fully mastered by students, can be used as material for further training.Era globalisasi menuntut para siswa memiliki keterampilan teknologi yang mumpuni agar dapat bersaing baik didalam dunia akademis maupun dunia kerja. Perguruan tinggi dan dunia kerja saat ini mewajibkan para siswa mahir Microsoft Office sebagai kemampuan minimal. Pelatihan ini menjadi penting dengan adanya kebutuhan adaptasi terhadap transformasi digital di dunia pendidikan dan tuntutan profesional. Microsoft Office 365 merupakan standar industri di dunia profesional. Tujuan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah menciptakan generasi muda yang lebih terampil dalam menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Office 365. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Office 365 bagi Para siswa SLTA yang berada di sekitar kampus ITB Swadharma sebanyak 23 orang siswa yang berasal dari 11 sekolah. Hasil kegiatan adanya peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam penggunaan Microsoft Office 365 khususnya fitur Check Box, Fungsi Logika, Fungsi Median, HLookup, Max dan Min, Modus, Tabel, VLookup, Worksheet. Sedangkan untuk fitur Combo Box, Fungsi Concatenate, Grafik, Pivot Tabel, dan Proteksi Dokumen yang belum terlalu dikuasai oleh siswa dapat menjadi bahan untuk pelatihan selanjutnya.

Abstract

Information technology, particularly computer networks, has become a fundamental aspect in various fields, including economics, education, communications, and entertainment. Crown Horeca already has several network devices and uses the internet. Instability often occurs in the wireless network used due to high traffic exceeding capacity. Wireless network optimisation is needed to improve efficiency and the quality of network service. The purpose of this research is to design a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) using Inter-VLAN Routing techniques to improve performance and network segmentation management. The study used the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method with data collection techniques of direct observation, interviews, and literature review. Ping test results showed no Request Time Out (RTO), indicating stable inter-floor connections. Message delivery between devices on the network, as simulated in Packet Tracer, ran smoothly, proving that inter-VLAN communication was functioning as expected.Teknologi informasi, khususnya dalam jaringan komputer, telah menjadi aspek mendasar dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk perekonomian, pendidikan, komunikasi, dan hiburan. Crown Horeca telah memiliki beberapa perangkat jaringan dan menggunakan jaringan internet. Ketidakstabilan sering kali terjadi pada jaringan wireless yang digunakan karena tingginya trafik yang melebihi kapasitas. Diperlukan optimasi jaringan wireless guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan jaringan. Tujuan penelitian untuk merancang jaringan Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) menggunakan teknik Inter-VLAN Routing untuk meningkatkan performa dan manajemen segmentasi jaringan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi langsung, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil pengujian ping menunjukkan tidak adanya Request Time Out (RTO), menunjukkan koneksi antar lantai berjalan stabil. Pengiriman pesan antar perangkat di jaringan menggunakan simulasi Packet Tracer berjalan lancar, membuktikan bahwa komunikasi antar VLAN berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai harapan.

Abstract

Data management regarding capacity building for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) human resources at the Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, currently faces challenges in data processing, information presentation, and decision-making due to the suboptimal use of information technology. This study aims to develop a web-based information system for managing apparatus capacity-building data by employing the Naïve Bayes algorithm as a classification method to support decision-making. The research adopts a quantitative approach utilizing data mining methods, encompassing data collection, preprocessing, splitting data into training and testing sets, building a classification model using the Naïve Bayes algorithm, and evaluating the model via a Confusion Matrix. The system was developed using the Python programming language and the Streamlit framework, and was implemented using apparatus capacity-building data from the 2024–2026 period. The results demonstrate that the system can integrate data management processes, classify capacity-building levels into Low, Medium, and High categories, and automatically generate analytical dashboards and reports. Model evaluation yielded an accuracy rate of 66.67%, indicating that the Naïve Bayes algorithm delivers satisfactory classification performance to support decision-making in managing apparatus capacity building. Consequently, the developed system can enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of data management while supporting the monitoring and evaluation of competency development programs for the apparatus at the Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs.
