Abstract

The rise of cases of sexual harassment and sexual violence against children demands that children be immediately given information about reproductive health, prevention of sexual violence to organ function and how to look after it. The purpose of this service is to provide health education regarding reproductive health to children at SD N 1 Suwug to increase their knowledge in maintaining reproductive health. The stages of implementing community service are divided into three stages, namely planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. With a target number of 106 students located in SD N 1 Suwug. The result was that there was an increase in knowledge before and after being given reproductive health education to children and all of the targets enthusiastically wanted to know the function of their respective reproductive organs. The conclusion is that health education, especially reproductive health in elementary school children, is a necessity to form self-responsibility for their respective reproductive organs.

Abstract

Abstrak: Remaja merupakan kelompok rentan mengalami maslah kesehatan reproduksi dan seksualitas. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena pada tahap perkembangan organ reproduksi telah mencapai optimal namun secara psikososial remaja belum mampu mengemban tanggung jawab reproduksi yang sesuai dengan norma. Guna mencegah perilaku kesehatan seksual yang kurang sehat pengabdi memberikan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dan sekualitas diberikan secara terstruktur selama 3 jam di SMAN Bali Mandara pada 1 Desember 2023. Tim pengabdi merupakan perawat, mahasiswa keperawatan, psikology, dan pekerja social. Materi yang diberikan terkait organ reproduksi pria dan Wanita, penyakit menular seksual, batasan privasi, fakta dan mitos terkait seksualitas. Metode diberikan dengan ceramah, permainan dengan media flashcard, simulasi jarak fisik, demonstrasi alat kontrasepsi, dan eksplorasi perasaan dengan mentimeter.Hasil penelitian tampak peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal hingga akhir. Peserta dapat berpartisipasi aktif menanyakan dan mengungkapkan perasaan terkait topik yang dianggap tabu pada aspek seksualitas. Inovasi gamifikasi dalam pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dan seksualitas pada remaja sangat bermanfaat meningkatkan sikap, pengetahuan serta mendorong keterbukaan.   Abstract: Adolescents are a vulnerable group experiencing reproductive health and sexuality problems. This is because at the stage of development the reproductive organs have reached optimality, but psychosocially, adolescents are not yet able to carry out reproductive responsibilities in accordance with norms. In order to prevent unhealthy sexual health behavior, we provide reproductive health education. Reproductive health and quality education was given in a structured manner for 3 hours at SMAN Bali Mandara on December 1 2023. The service team consisted of nurses, nursing students, psychologists and social workers. The material provided is related to male and female reproductive organs, sexually transmitted diseases, privacy limits, facts and myths related to sexuality. The method was given using lectures, games using flashcards, physical distance simulations, demonstrations of contraceptives, and exploration of feelings with a meter. The results of the research showed that participants enthusiastically participated in the activity from start to finish. Participants can actively participate in asking and expressing feelings regarding topics that are considered taboo in aspects of sexuality. Gamification innovation in reproductive health and sexuality education for adolescents is very useful in improving attitudes, knowledge and encouraging openness.
