Abstract

Abstract: The art market in Sangiran is a settlement in order to improve the economic , social , and cultural communities in Sangiran and Sangiran existence by focusing on providing container , along with supporting facilities activities through building architecturally harmonious with the surrounding environment . The art market aims to provide a platform for craftsmen souvenir of Sangiran to change the paradigm of society in Sangiran area that Sangiran area as a tourist destination yet to contribute to the welfare of society . Design problems that arise , namely Sangiran area which is an area of heritage conservation , so that the necessary studies for the design of the art market is the preservation of cultural heritage can be preserved and the concept of community empowerment can be realized . With contextual architecture , art market planned course will consider a variety of factors to maintain harmony with both the environment of visual character , nature conservation , and can reflect the character of the surrounding community . Sangiran public use as a base character design without neglecting the interests of social and commercial building markets . Abstract

Abstract: The development of information and technology are rapidly giving a major influence on many areas of industry, one of the industry is video games and animation, therefore ther is a need for a place that can accommodate activities in the field of video games and animation. Video Games and Animation Center in Yogyakarta is a place that serves to accommodate all industrial activities in the field of video games and animation to enhance the potential of the industry in Yogyakarta. These activities include production activities , educational activities , promotional activities , and recreational activities for the general public. The goal of the Video Games and Animation Center that is intended for people who want to learn and create games and animations, games and animation studio production who want to promote their products, as well as a gathering place for the community of gamers and animation to socialize. The goal is to create a physical place as a place of production , education, promotion , and recreation in order to increase people's appreciation for video games and animation industry by providing infrastructure facilities required as well as providing a place for socialization for gamers and animation community using metaphor architecture approach to the realization of the building form. The approach chosen so that the characteristic and elements of metaphorical architecture of a video game and animation can appear in the form of a building with an analogy of form/ element on an object that is associated with video games and animation. Key words: Studio Production, Video Games, Animation, Metaphore Architectural Approach

Abstract

Sub Communal RISHA is a pilot project from the central government in collaboration with the Surakarta City Government as a solution for structuring slum settlements in Surakarta. The RISHA method facilitates the construction and installation process due to the use of a modular precast system which is also more flexible and efficient both in terms of construction time and the use of construction materials. The purpose of this research is to identify the space adaptation of Sub Communal RISHA based on the behavior of residents. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. The research location is in the area of RW 06 Rusunawa Semanggi Surakarta and the time of data collection was carried out in the period May-August 2021. Primary data was taken with several techniques, observation and Forum Group Discussion (FGD) method. The analysis was carried out using data triangulation techniques. The use of this analysis technique aims to combine all data to produce accurate and comprehensive conclusions. The results showed that there are two adaptations carried out by the residents of Sub Communal RISHA, namely adaptation by adjustment and adaptation by reactions.

Abstract

The sustainability for cultural heritage is a vital thing for present time and future. Recently, traditional house which is  a javanese cultural heritage is slowly gone in Jagalan, Kotagede.  Homestay in jagalan kotagede as a living museum which has a characteristic of cultural properties area has changed. The change is because of the necessity of a modern living which can not adapt to the old culture, economic necessity, and also eathquake in Jogja in 2006 go along the dull of Jagalan, Kotagede area characteristics. As Jagalan characteristics seems arousing little interest, it makes Jagalan loses heritage spirit and also leads to the unorganized local people. These are due to the economical, social and political matters. Thus, the effort to achieve harmony will be done, including area planning, traditional home stay building, local art, culinary road characteristics, Jagalan potential and adaptive side to the earthquake effect. The official announcement of “Jagalan Tlisih” by Sultan Hamengku Buwono X will be able to make everyone realize that the sustainability of cultural heritage is important. Jagalan Village should be supported by maintaining the potential within, in order to accomplish the realization of cultural tourism village. moreover, traditional building which is counted as  potential legacy needs to be preserved and maintained. The maintenance is by revitalizing, to revive and to restore. Adaptive concepts is a way to build an object and environment so that when these aspects are combined they will be able to work together and create new thing without losing identity of their own. The preservation is applied by taking advantage from the traditional house to be a homestay.  Moreover, homestay will be a new function in the form of traditional building to support Jagalan Village which has heritage value to fulfill the goal as a tourism destination. Furthermore, Jagalan area will be local based homestay along with  adaptive people within its function as cultural tourism village. The new function is one of Adaptive Reuse as a dynamic revitalization responses from spatial, physic, and style aspect which can stands alone and revive its environment.

Abstract

There are many communities, teen clubs and events held in the city of Kebumen, this is a sign that the local youth have the potential to show the creativity and existence. This phenomenon needs to be balanced with the provision of a wide range of facilities to accommodate youth activities such as sports facilities, arts facilities and community facilities. The facility in the city of Kebumen still minimal and insufficient for the scale of the city. Design Youth Center in Kebumen City aims to get the design of the building to facilitate sports activities, arts and community activities into the shape of the building is able to accommodate youth to enhance the creativity of teenagers. Design issues are: how the expression of space and form of the building that can accommodate the adolescent approach to Architectural Psychology is then translated into the design of the container Youth Center in Kebumen. The method used is a method of designing the architecture, from the collection of data was then analyzed by functional programming, programming performance and architectural analysis. Abstract

Semarang city is one of the largest cities in Indonesia that has many people lived. Just like any other major city, overpopulation resulting in overcrowding due to a growing population but the land remains. Flats used as a solution for housing in urban areas, due with an area is not too large but can accommodate a lot occupancy. Flats could be a solution to housing in urban areas but the house or dwelling unit on the flats is different to landed house. Landed house can develop, increase, decrease and change according to the needs and desires of its inhabitants, it is not found in the dwelling unit at flats. The problem is how to make multi-storey housing that each unit dwellings such as landed house, could evolve and change according to the needs and desires of its inhabitants, even a dwelling unit can move from one place to another. The method used to apply the plug-in city in vertical housing, because the concept of plug-in city has thought that the main structure is permanent and has a longer period of time while its units are not permanent, has a separate structure, can be joined and separated of the main structure. Abstract

The design of the development of medical buildings Hospital Vincent de Paul Catholic background by importance for human health, especially in the city of Surabaya, which is one of the major cities in Indonesia, Catholic Hospital Vincent de Paul is a heritage building located in the city of Surabaya, improving services and facilities hospital class B in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia, Contextual Architecture implementation strategy to address the design. Design problem is: how to develop the design of the building of the Catholic Medical Hospital Vincent de Paul in Surabaya using Contextual Architecture implementation. The method used is a method of applying a contextual architectural design in the shape and appearance of the building. Analysis obtained an additional spaces in accordance with regulatory standards Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Hospitals class B. The spaces are not contained in the Catholic Hospital Vincent de Paul will be developed in the new medical building. The new medical building designed is a lack of facilities and services at the Hospital of the Catholic Vincent de Paul. Application of elements - elements such as materials, colors and textures on the new medical building will create a sense of harmony of a building. Repetition rhythm applied to the columns of the building will give the impression of harmony.
