<![CDATA[This article expounds on the significance of repentance as a preparation for the end times within the context of religious understanding and spirituality. The empirical issue at hand is the lack of clear comprehension regarding the significance and implications of repentance in facing the end times. The objective of this research is to deeply understand the importance of repentance based on Matthew 24:1-14, encompassing the implications of repentance in individuals' daily lives, their relationship with God, and their relationship with fellow human beings in the context of the end times. This research utilizes the method of textual analysis or interpretation. The findings of this study indicate that repentance is a crucial calling in facing the end times, as through repentance, individuals prepare themselves spiritually, establish a proper relationship with God, and equip themselves to spread the message of the Gospel to the world. Repentance brings about significant changes in individuals' lives and has far-reaching impacts on the mission of spreading the Gospel.AbstrakArtikel ini menguraikan pentingnya pertobatan sebagai bentuk persiapan menghadapi akhir zaman dalam konteks pemahaman agama dan spiritualitas. Masalah empiris yang muncul adalah kurangnya pemahaman yang jelas tentang signifikansi dan implikasi pertobatan dalam menghadapi akhir zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memahami pentingnya pertobatan berdasarkan Matius 24:1-14, termasuk implikasi pertobatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, hubungan individu dengan Tuhan, dan hubungan individu dengan sesama manusia dalam konteks akhir zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis teks atau tafsir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertobatan merupakan panggilan penting dalam menghadapi akhir zaman, karena melalui pertobatan individu mempersiapkan diri secara rohani, membangun hubungan yang benar dengan Allah, dan mempersiapkan diri untuk menyebarkan pesan Injil kepada dunia.
