Abstract

The article delineates the significance of acknowledging God within the context of the Christian faith, focusing on the concept of the Incomprehensibility of God. The theological dualism approach to comprehending God - based on theory and actualization - highlights the challenges in understanding His essence. This research aims to explore this concept from the perspective of the Christian faith, particularly the recognition of God through Jesus Christ. Utilizing a qualitative method, an analysis of biblical texts and relevant theological literature reveals that while God is not entirely comprehensible, His revelations provide pertinent knowledge. The research findings affirm that the concept of the Incomprehensibility of God restricts human comprehension of God; however, recognition through Jesus Christ serves as the key to a deeper understanding. The recognition of God through Jesus Christ necessitates faith and an intimate relationship with Him.Kata Kunci: Pengenalan Allah, Dualisme Teologis, Incomprehensibility of God, Wahyu Khusus, Pemahaman Manusia Tentang Allah

Abstract

This article explores the christological perspectives on the nature of Jesus as either divine or human and its implementation in Christian education. In the context of Christianity, understanding both aspects is essential for the belief and practice of Christian life. Through qualitative methods, this research gathers data from various sources and finds that understanding the humanity of Jesus, integrating His divinity, and the role of Christian religious teachers in teaching christology are the main focus. The research highlights the implications of christological perspectives on Christian beliefs, emphasizing religious moderation, tolerance, and collaboration among religious communities in a diverse society. Contemporary challenges reinforce the need for deep reflection on Christian beliefs, where Christian religious teachers play a crucial role in guiding students. Integrating the teaching of christology into the Christian education curriculum provides a foundation for shaping the character and morality of future generations through creative and interactive approaches. In essence, understanding the christology of Jesus is not only about faith but also about implementing Christian values in everyday actions. It is important to understand christological perspectives on Jesus and integrate them into Christian education to shape a generation capable of positively applying Christ's teachings in society.

This article delves into the pivotal role of the Holy Spirit in guiding believers towards a sanctified life, mirroring that of Jesus. Anchored in the teachings of Peter outlined in 1 Peter 1:13-16, this research aims to bridge the scientific gap regarding the role of the Holy Spirit. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study leverages Biblical texts and literature reviews. The analysis reveals that the Holy Spirit enables life transformation, allowing alignment with God's will and bringing Him glory. The fullness of the Holy Spirit, both temporally and permanently, engenders a profound understanding of God's intentions. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit is the personification of God, leading and guiding in daily life. By liberating the human spirit from sin, the Holy Spirit shapes and steers the lives of believers, enabling them to bear witness to God's will in this world.
