Abstract

The success of education cannot be separated from the teacher's performance in learning activities. Academic supervision carried out by the principal is one of the supporting activities in improving teacher performance in teaching. The aim of the research is to describe and analyze the academic supervision of PAI teachers in lesson planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation. The paradigm of this research is post-positivism. The analysis of this research includes the stages before in the field, during the field and after in the field. The results of the study show that the principal has carried out supervision by showing that the teacher's planning and implementation skills in learning are competent, it's just that there are still a few weaknesses in the teacher in carrying out evaluations, the principal must pay more attention to the evaluation aspect of supervision, whereas in terms of  teaching performance, the teacher must be more improve its performance in the aspect of learning evaluation and follow-up of student assessment results. school principals must pay more attention to the evaluation aspect of supervision and teachers must further improve their performance in the evaluation aspect of learning and following up on student assessment results. The recommendation of the researcher  the next that the implementation of academic supervision at the Walisongo Education Foundation in Magelang has quite significant implications for increasing the professionalism of teachers there. If the principal is more intent on implementing academic supervision, the teacher's performance will be more competent

Abstract

The interaction between light and matter is a fundamental topic in physics that has broad implications for developing new technologies. With the development of nanotechnology and photonics, a deeper understanding of how light can be affected by and affect matter at the micro and nano scales has become important. This research aims to explore and characterize the interaction of light with matter under various experimental and theoretical conditions to reveal new phenomena that can be exploited in future technologies, such as in the development of quantum computers, advanced sensors, and optical communication systems. This research uses a combination of experimental methods and computer simulation. The experiments were carried out using advanced spectroscopy and microscopy techniques to observe interactions at the atomic and molecular levels. Computer simulations are used to model interactions and predict the behavior of materials under the influence of different light. The results show that by manipulating the structure of materials at the nanoscale, we can significantly change the way materials interact with light. This includes creating meta-material effects not found in nature, which allow the control of light in a highly efficient and selective manner. This study's conclusions confirm that the potential for controlling and exploiting light in technological applications has been substantially expanded through high-precision manipulation of materials at the nanoscale. These findings pave the way for the development of various advanced technological applications that are more efficient and effective, providing a strong foundation for future technological innovations that rely on the interaction of light and matter.

Abstract

Background: With the technological landscape in education shifting rapidly, Virtual Reality presents a novel approach to practical skill development, particularly in mechanical engineering. This study explores the potential of Virtual Reality to enhance the learning of specific mechanical skills, such as Mechanical Skills, which are crucial in the increasingly automated industry. The main objective of this research was to assess the effectiveness of Virtual Reality technology in teaching mechanical skills compared to traditional hands-on methods. The study employed a quasi-experimental design involving 100 mechanical engineering students from two universities. Using conventional training methods, which included [insert specific methods], participants were randomly assigned to a VIRTUAL REALITY training group and a control group. Both groups were tested on their ability to perform specific mechanical tasks, such as [insert specific tasks], before and after the training sessions. The Virtual Reality group demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in performance accuracy and speed compared to the control group. Post-study surveys also indicated higher satisfaction and engagement levels among the Virtual Reality group. The findings suggest that Virtual Reality technology can significantly enhance the learning of mechanical skills, offering a more effective and engaging approach than traditional methods. The potential of Virtual Reality to revolutionize mechanical engineering education is inspiring, offering a new and exciting way to teach and acquire practical skills.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs in the current era are facing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused a decline in sales, raw materials and capital difficulties. This research aims to analyze business actors in understanding the values and rules of business ethics and confirm conformity with the principles of business ethics as well as the application of business ethics during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative methods as well as interviews by telephone and meeting directly with business people but still applying health protocols, the respondents in this study were 8 people as entrepreneurs. This research uses qualitative descriptive data analysis. The application of business ethics and business strategies is carried out to realize the sustainability of a business during the ongoing global pandemic and also when the pandemic is over in order to strengthen business management. The results of this study can be used in providing debriefing to every company leader when considering making strategic decisions related to complex morals.

Abstract

Background. Since the 15th century AD, the course of human civilization has been clear, with Western civilization surpassing its Islamic counterpart.  Even today, the strides made by Western civilization continue to be icons of global progress. Purpose. The roots of this civilization can be traced back to Europe, where over the course of six centuries, a series of transformative events took place, including the Renaissance, Industrial Revolution, Aufklarung, and French Revolution. Method. Muslims achieved significant progress during their classical period after a centuries-long process.  Therefore, it is not surprising that Europe has achieved great progress in politics, culture and technological advancement, as it has had access to this knowledge for a long period of time. Results. When comparing Western and Islamic civilizations, it is important to note that Islamic civilization reached great heights during its classical period. Conclusion. In the classical era, Western civilization teetered on the brink of darkness, plunging many Europeans into an identity crisis.  Meanwhile, Islamic civilization flourished, and Europeans eagerly drew knowledge from its teachings. The 14th to 15th centuries ushered in a period of progress and growth for Western civilization, which influenced other cultures as well.  Today, after more than five centuries, Western civilization maintains its dominant position not only over Islamic and Eastern civilizations, but also other civilizations. The 14th to 15th century Renaissance.
