Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kolokial berbahasa Indonesia dalam percakapan mahasiswa IAIN Lhokseumawe serta mendeskripsikan ragam kolokial berbahasa Indonesia mahasiswa IAIN Lhokseumawe. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa IAIN Lhokseumawe. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif menurut pendapat Moleong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa kolokial yang terjadi dalam percakapan mahasiswa IAIN Lhokseumawe adalah bahasa santai yang digunakan sehari-hari ketika berbicara dengan orang lain. Tiga ragam kolokial yang terjadi dalam percakapan mahasiswa IAIN Lhokseumawe meliputi (1) kolokial yang menghilangkan huruf vokal [a], [i], [e], [o], [au], dan [ai]; (2) kolokial yang menghilangkan huruf konsonan [s], [h], [m], dan [k]; dan (3) kolokial yang menghilangkan huruf vokal dan huruf konsonan [ba], [ang], [ka], [id], [gan], [er], [du], [un], [be], [ya], [bagai], dan [te]. The purpose of this study is to describe Indonesian-language colloquials in the IAIN Lhokseumawe students' conversation and describe the Indonesian-language colloquial diversity of IAIN Lhokseumawe students. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data source of this research is Lhokseumawe IAIN students. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques in the opinion of Moleong. The results of this study indicate that colloquial language that occurs in IAIN Lhokseumawe students' conversation is a casual language that is used daily when talking to others. Three types of colocials that occur in IAIN Lhokseumawe students' conversations include (a) colloquial which removes vowels [a], [i], [e], [o], [au], and [ai]; (b) colloquial which removes the consonant letters [s], [h], [m], and [k]; and (c) colloquial which removes vowels and consonants of [ba], [ang], [ka], [id], [gan], [er], [du], [un], [be], [ya], [bagai], and [te].

Abstract

The existence of the Acehnese expression in the culture of the Indonesian speech community is a sociolinguistic study. This study was aimed to describe the function of the Acehnese expression used by Indonesian speakers. Method of describing the existence of expression using qualitative approach of descriptive type. The Acehnese language expression data was collected from the informant using a note. The results of this study indicate that the Acehnese expression has a certain function in society so that the expression is used when communicating. The functions vary in order to establish loyalty, fairness, tranquility, and to maintain a balance of life. The Acehnese phrase exists in the Indonesian speaking community because it has a continuity between communication and its implementation in the life of society. The existence of this phrase is used as a social critique, guidance, and advice to strengthen unity and unity with in the framework of Indonesianc ulture. This expression exists for speakers of the Indonesian language because it contains the power of value that is a ble to educate speaker sunconsciously and thoroughly.

Abstract

The Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut by Azhari Aiyub depicts a setting that can be used as knowledge related to life in ancient times such as place, time and social, and life lessons.The purpose of this research is to describe the setting of the novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut by Azhari Aiyub. The method used is the descriptive qualitative approach. The research data source is the Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut by Azhari Aiyub.  This research is text, phrases, and sentences about the setting of the Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut by Azhari Aiyub. Data collection techniques used are library or literature study techniques. Data analysis was performed using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. This research results showed that were containof three setting in the Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut by Azhari Aiyub. First, the most dominant setting is in Teluk Lamuri and Istana Darud Dunya. second, the setting time setting described in the novel without dating and describing the situation. Third, the social setting dominated the typed of attitude and habits to life. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan unsur latar yang terdapat di dalam Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut karya Azhari Aiyub. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut karya Azhari Aiyub. Data penelitian ini adalah teks berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat tentang latar yang terdapat dalam Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut karya Azhari Aiyub. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pustaka atau studi kepustakaan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terkandung tiga jenis unsur latar dalam Novel Kura-Kura Berjanggut karya Azhari Aiyub. Pertama, latar tempat yang paling dominan terdapat di Teluk Lamuri dan Istana Darud Dunya. Kedua, latar waktu digambarkan dalam novel tersebut berupa penanggalan dan penggambaran situasi. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemahaman dan penerapan literasi guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 guru Bahasa Indonesia pada 5 SMA di Kota Banda Aceh. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dan lembaran observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan penerapan literasi guru bahasa Indonesia di Kota Banda Aceh dilihat dari 10 indikator pemahaman dan 6 indikator penerapan. Dari 10 indikator pemahaman, ternyata guru itu memahami istilah literasi, media literasi, definisi literasi, fungsi literasi, manfaat literasi, penting literasi, peran literasi, unsur literasi, dan kasus II literasi, sedangkan contoh pembelajaran literasi dan contoh kasus I literasi tidak dapat dipahami oleh sebagian guru. Guru berinisial HY, KH, dan SN tidak memahami contoh kasus I literasi. Pada penerapan literasi, dari 7 indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, DW dan KH tidak menerapkan kegiatan literasi dan proses literasi yang sesuai dengan teori literasi, sedangkan 4 guru yang lain, yaitu FS, HY, IM, dan SN dapat menerapkan pembelajaran yang berbasis literasi. Guru yang memahami dan menerapkan yang sesuai dengan indikator pemahaman dan penerapan literasi adalah FS, yaitu guru Fatih Bilinggual School. Selain itu, DW, HY, dan SN juga memahami dan menerapkan literasi. Namun, ketiga sumber data itu masih ada yang tidak sesuai pada salah satu indikator, yaitu HY dan SN pada indikator pemahaman literasi dan DW pada indikator penerapan literasi. Terakhir, KH, guru di SMA 1 Banda Aceh, juga memahami dan menerapkan literasi, tetapi KH masih ada yang tidak sesuai dengan indikator pada salah satu dari masing-masing indikator, yaitu indikator pemahaman dan penerapan literasi.

Abstract

There are lots of songs, but they lack elements of patriotism and education. This deficiency makes the nation's structure fragile. Therefore, awareness and rethinking are needed to map and explain this to the public so that a sense of patriotism grows. This study aims to analyze and internalize the value mechanism of the Indonesia Raya song on the formation of the attitudes and character of Islamic boarding school students. This qualitative research uses the case study method at the leading pesantren. Data was collected through document studies and interviews. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis. This research has found that the internalization of patriotic values in the Indonesia Raya song can shape the attitudes and character of Islamic boarding school students. The internalization model of patriotism involves gradually educating song lyrics, understanding through assignments, and singing songs together. Educators and parents need to choose a national anthem that is appropriate for children's age and interests, understand the lyrics' meaning in depth, and make it a habit to sing the national anthem in their daily activities. Internalizing these values can produce young people who have a strong love for the motherland and care for the nation and state. Research on the internalization of patriotism and educational values through the national anthem has positive implications for education and the formation of national character.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Muslimun melalui kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan di Pesantren Terpadu Al Muslimun. Berdasarkan Permendikbud Nomor 23 Tahun 2015 tentang Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, kegiatan ini mengacu pada upaya meningkatkan minat baca siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Februari - 7 Maret 2023 dengan melibatkan siswa-siswa MITA (Madrasah Almuslimun Terpadu Almuslimun). Terdapat tiga kegiatan training/pelatihan yang efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Pertama, kegiatan bedah buku dan menulis resensi buku dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan memahami buku-buku yang dibaca oleh siswa. Kedua, kegiatan kelompok diskusi buku digunakan untuk mendorong siswa untuk berdiskusi dan berbagi pemahaman mereka tentang buku. Terakhir, kegiatan sumbang buku dilakukan untuk memperkaya perpustakaan madrasah dengan buku-buku baru dan bermutu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bedah buku, kelompok diskusi buku, dan sumbang buku memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa tidak hanya mengembangkan pemahaman, keterampilan kritis, dan pengetahuan, tetapi juga memperluas wawasan dan membentuk komunitas pembaca yang aktif. Dengan adanya lingkungan literasi yang merangsang dan akses yang memadai, diharapkan minat baca siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Muslimun dapat meningkat secara signifikan. Diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat memperkuat budaya literasi dalam lingkungan pendidikan, membuka wawasan siswa, serta memberikan dampak positif dalam peningkatan minat baca siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Muslimun.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study which aims to measure the level of awareness of teenagers in Tuntungan I village regarding the importance of digital literacy in utilizing social media as a learning medium, and to analyze teenagers' dependence on social media which can influence the effectiveness of learning. The research was carried out from 03 to 13 June 2024 in Tuntungan I Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques use interview techniques and questionnaires. The number of samples taken was 30 teenagers who were classified based on their age level. The research results obtained were that teenagers in Tuntungan I Village had demonstrated proficiency in using digital media, such as PowerPoint and Infocus, to present discussion results. This reflects their skills in supporting technology as an important learning tool in the school environment. The social media platforms that are often used by teenagers in Tuntungan I Village to search for information are YouTube and Instagram. The information seeking skills of teenagers in Tuntungan I village show significant dependence on social media as a source of information. From the results of calculations with respondents, 87.3% of teenagers actively use this platform for the purpose of seeking information. However, only 60.7% succeeded in finding information that was relevant to their learning.

Abstract

This research delves into the psychology of the Aceh community in receiving Rohingya refugees, with a particular emphasis on the influence of local identity. It critically analyzes mass media to identify reporting patterns and perspectives on Rohingya refugees. Data were gathered through news analysis and in-depth interviews to gain insights into the community's perceptions, attitudes, and local identity. The findings reveal that the Acehnese community's perceptions, attitudes, and emotional responses towards Rohingya refugees are shaped by a strong local identity, historical conflict experiences, and concerns about resource competition and religious identity. Acehnese cultural and religious identity promotes internal solidarity but also fosters exclusivity towards 'foreign' groups. Previous ethnic conflicts exacerbate tensions and distrust towards refugees. The use of religious symbols by refugees further heightens social and psychological tensions. However, the humanitarian principles in Islamic law, which emphasize fair treatment and assistance to those in need, play a pivotal role. This study adopts a multidimensional approach, integrating psychology, sociology, and education to address identity conflicts, foster harmonious interactions between the Acehnese community and Rohingya refugees, and strengthen intergroup relations by considering aspects of identity and humanity.

Abstract

Abstract: Due to restrictions in developing and expressing the spiritual potential through the stylistic components in the poetry, Rabbani Wahid's poetry has not been studied adequately. The objective of this study is to provide an explanation for the poetry of Rabbani Wahid's, including the linguistic style, suggestive power, imagery, and emotions. The explanation for these elements involves a psychological perspective. The poetry collection Book of Rabbani Wahid, which has 11 sub-poems designated D1 to D11, provided empirical data for the study. The investigation starts by choosing a poem and utilizing literary analysis to examine its stylistic components. Applying tools for descriptive analysis is the next stage. The research's findings reveal that poetry's suggestive power is crucial because it may shape the reader's emotions, ideas, and behavior by using suitable words and language. The use of imagery, figurative language, and appropriate word placement can deepen the reader's understanding of the poetry's content. In order to elicit aesthetic and emotional responses from readers or listeners, Rabbani Wahid's poetry employs a variety of images, linguistic idioms, and phrases with great suggestive power. The poetry also conveys significant spiritual lessons about the value of doing good deeds, love for Allah and the Prophet Muhammad, humility, and simplicity. Litotes, repetition, personification, and simile are figurative language techniques that are employed to enhance the language style and express significant spiritual themes about humbling oneself and practicing simplicity in worship.Keywords: spiritual psychology, Rabbani Wahid, poetry, stylistic approach

Abstract

In Southeast Asia, ethnic conflicts are complex phenomena influenced by religious affiliations, nationalism, and citizenship rights. This study examines the role of media in shaping public narratives and perceptions of the Rohingya crisis, particularly in Aceh, Indonesia. Media analysis reveals that coverage provides practical insights into the consequences of refugee influx, highlighting social, humanitarian, and infrastructural impacts. Moreover, media diversifies understanding by presenting varied perspectives and linking ethnic conflicts with broader issues such as human trafficking. The study emphasizes how media narratives influence community attitudes towards Rohingya refugees in Aceh, reflecting shifts in acceptance or rejection based on portrayal. It underscores media's responsibility for accurate, balanced coverage crucial in shaping public understanding. Employing qualitative content analysis of print and online sources from 2023, this research examines media's depiction of the Rohingya conflict and refugee responses in Aceh. Findings contribute insights into media's role in public perception and its impact on refugee acceptance. This study advocates further media analysis to deeper understanding of complex ethnic conflicts, aiming to mitigate stereotypes and foster empathy towards refugees. Encourage balanced and diverse media reporting on ethnic conflicts to foster empathy and informed public dialogue, particularly in communities like Aceh. Support further research and education on the media's role in shaping perceptions to promote effective conflict resolution and humanitarian responses.
