Abstract

The number of women in the medical field today is probably much evolved compared to when this science was first introduced in Indonesia. In the colonial period, the number of women entering into the medical field was minimal. Patriarchal values restricted women’s access to education, including the education of doctors, nurses, midwives and pharmacists. Becoming a doctor was considered to be against women’s ‘nature’. The STOVIA medical school at the turn of the 20th century, for example, was discriminatory towards women. The medical profession was seen as suitable only for men. Using a historical perspective, this study seeks to uncover the experience womens in the medical field in Indonesia. The achievements of women to date were inspired by the struggles of thewomen in the past.

Abstract

Metode mengajar (self check) periksa diri diciptakan oleh hubungan siswa dengan guru yang dikembangkan dengan memeriksa sendiri tugas yang diberikan guru kepada siswa, keputusan selanjutnya dipindah kepada siswa agar lebih bertanggung jawab. Siswa melaksanakan tugas dan menyesuaikan dengan kriteria yang dibuat oleh guru sebagai umpan balik. Hal ini sangat berguna bagi siswa untuk tidak tergantung pada umpan balik dari luar, dan memulai menggunakan umpan balik dari dirinya sendiri yang akan sangat membantu dalam belajar keterampilan teknik dasar pencak silat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri I Kauman Tulungagung. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X.MIPA 2 semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode self check dengan bantuan rekaman video bisa mengatasi masalah siswa yang lambat belajar gerak teknik dasar pencak silat yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan yang terjadi sebesar 13.50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut menggunakan metode lainnya dengan upaya peningkatan keterampilan gerak teknik dasar pencak silat siswa.
