Road is a transportation infrastructure that functions to support human activities and needs in terms of mobility to achieve economic and non-economic goals. The purpose of this research was to find out class A aggregate material quality usedwith refers to the general specifications of Bina Marga in 2018. Theresearch carried out by surveying the locations stock pile, this method was needed to obtain primary and secondary data. The results of testing the characteristics of the aggregate, the results obtained Sieve analysis tests have met the specifications for class A aggregate, specific gravity of coarse aggregate is 3.20, specific gravity of fine aggregate is 2.81, density of loose coarse aggregate is 1.58 and dense is 1.82, density of loose fine aggregate is 1.81 and dense 1.90, aggregate wear 24.22%, maximum dry density 2.689 gram/ cm3, optimum moisture content 3.80%, CBR 100% γd maximum 142%, CBR 95% γd maximum 108%.conclusionIn Class A aggregate material used Fulfill General Specifications for Highways 2018 (Division 5). Jalan merupakan suatu prasarana transportasi yang berfungsi mendukung aktivitas dan kebutuhan manusia dalam hal mobilitas untuk mencapai tujuan ekonomi dan non ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mutu material agregat kelas A yang digunakan dengan mengacu pada spesifikasi umum Bina Marga tahun 2018. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan survey pada lokasi stock pile, metode ini dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil pengujian karakteristik agregat , diperoleh hasil pengujian analisa saringan telah memenuhi spesifikasi agregat kelas A, berat jenis agregat kasar 3,20 , berat jenis agregat halus 2,81 , berat isi agregat kasar lepas 1,58 dan padat 1,82, berat isi agregat halus lepas 1,81 dan padat 1,90, keausan agregat 24,22%, kepadatan kering maksimum 2,689 gram/ cm3, kadar air optimum 3,80%, nilai CBR 100% γd maksimum 142%, CBR 95% γd maksimum 108%. Kesimpulannya material agregat kelas a yang digunakan memenuhi Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 (Divisi 5).
