Abstract

The frequent use of technology and information today impacts the increased risk and threats to data and information security. Department of Information and Communications of Pontianak is the department that utilizes and uses a lot of information technology. To find out how far the Pontianak City Communication and Informatics Office is capable of managing cyber security, a cyber security audit is needed. Audits can be conducted by combining the CIS CSC (Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls) framework to define the cybersecurity focus areas of IT assets and using the NIST CSF (National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework) and COBIT 2019 (Control Objective for Information Technologies) to calculate the capability level. Capability level calculation uses the CPM (COBIT Performance Model) method. The results of calculating the level of cyber security capability of the Pontianak City Communication and Informatics Service for Identification (ID) reaches level 3.9, Protect (PR) reaches level 3.4, Detect (DE) reaches level 2.5, and Respond (RS) reaches level 4. There are 19 activity recommendations to be carried out in order to achieve the desired level of cybersecurity, then capture recommendation activities into the action priority matrix, 10 activities included in the Quick Wins quadrant, and 9 activities entered into the Major Projects quadrant.

Abstract

Abstract

Land and forest fires occur every year in Indonesia, where the cause is human negligence or intentional related to forest deforestation. Land and forest fires, of course, can cause economic, health, social and cultural, ecological and environmental damage. One indicator that is useful as a determinant of the occurrence of land fires is hot spots. To manage hotspot data, data mining can be done, namely by using the sequential pattern mining method to obtain hotspot sequence patterns that will be used as indicators of land fires. In overcoming these problems, a Geographic Information System (GIS) was designed to map the areas prone to land fires in Kubu Raya Regency. The results of this study are maps of the distribution of land fire-prone areas and the pattern of occurrence of hotspots calculated using the sequential pattern mining method which is expected to assist relevant agencies in carrying out mitigation and prevention efforts for land fires, so as to produce the right decisions for handling land fires in the District. Kingdom Fortress. Based on the results of functionality testing using the black box testing method, the SIGPKRK application (Geographical Information System for Mapping Fire Prone Areas) that was built can run and is in accordance with the functions that have been designed. As for the results of testing the system interface using a questionnaire through the Google form which was filled in by 30 respondents, the SIGPKRK application obtained a percentage result of 85.9% which was included in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Text mining is an essential method for extracting valuable information from biomedical literature, especially concerning chemical-disease relationships (CDR). This study integrates named entity recognition (NER), relation extraction (RE), classification, and topic modeling to analyze kratom-related research articles from PubMed. Using the biocreative V chemical-disease relation (BC5CDR) dataset, NER achieved high recall and accuracy, demonstrating its ability to identify diverse entities. However, low precision revealed challenges with false positives due to ambiguous contexts and term overgeneralization. Network analysis of extracted relationships identified “Neuropathic” as the most central entity, underscoring its importance in linking chemicals like “mitragynine” to clinical conditions. Classification with bidirectional encoder representations from transformers for biomedical text mining (BioBERT) yielded moderate results, with an F1-score of 0.48, precision of 0.43, and recall of 0.38, highlighting the need for larger, curated datasets to improve accuracy. Bidirectional encoder representations topic modeling (BERTopic) uncovered five main topics with moderate coherence (C_V = 0.5567), emphasizing themes related to kratom’s toxicity and clinical implications, although capturing semantic relationships remained challenging. This research demonstrates the potential of text mining in biomedical knowledge discovery, revealing key insights and thematic patterns in scientific literature. Improved data preprocessing, model fine-tuning, and manual validation are recommended to enhance the reliability and application of these methods in future studies.
