Abstract

KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong is one of sharia financial services cooperatives (KJKS) which was established in Bojong District, Pekalongan Regency. The growing number of cooperatives nowadays in Bojong sub-district has made the competition tighter so that the growth target of customers is not achieved and there is a decrease in the financing partners. One way to win the competition is by improving the quality of service continuously to fit the expectations of costumers. This study discusses the application of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), which aims to determine customers’ needs so that each functional area and organization / company level can act towards existing functional services.Data in this research was collected by survey method with questionnaire tool to KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong manager and 50 cooperative customers as respondents. This Study applied  method used is the Quality Function Development (QFD) Method.The research showed the priority scale of customer requirements that should be prioritized in the improvement of the service that is the customer requirements of the company's credibility and reputation of the company. This research also showed the sequence of technical attributes of KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong in order to satisfy the customer that si The technical attribute of routine briefing for excellent service obtained from the calculation of absolute weight and relative weight.

Abstract

This paper aims to identify the ultimate ownership of public companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2017 period. Identification techniques used in this study are: (1) tracking the ownership structure; (2) measuring the level of control; (3) determining the majority ownership, and (4) finding the ‘controlling shareholder’ narrative in the annual report. Based on tim research analyze, this paper found that the ultimate ownership of public companies in Indonesia 2014-2017 was concentrated in the ultimate family owners (54.43%), corporations (31.05%) and the state (7.49%). Beside it, 89.43% of families use the indirect ownership structure (pyramid ownership). In addition, more than 50% of the ultimate family ownership place their family members in the Board of Commissioner (BOC) and Board of Directors (BOD).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dukungan organisasi dan tuntutan kerja terhadap stres kerja dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah perawat yang bekerja di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Sleman, RS PKU Muhamamdiyah Kota Yogya dan RS PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul dengan jumlah 242 perawat yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap stress kerja perawat, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig sebesar 0,002 < 0,05, 2) Tuntutan pekerjaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap stress kerja perawat, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, 3) Persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja perawat, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, 4) Tuntutan pekerjaan berpengaruh negatif tapi tidak signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja perawat, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig sebesar 0, 581 > 0,05, 5) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap stress kerja perawat, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig sebesar 0,015 < 0,05, 6) Motivasi kerja tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh persepsi dukungan organisasi terhadap stress kerja perawat dan 7) Motivasi kerja tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh tuntutan pekerjaan terhadap stress kerja perawat.

Abstract

The rice milling industry (RMI) is one of the oldest industries in the world and is dominated by small-scale family businesses. After decades, the RMI in Indonesia has experienced a cycle of stagnation and has struggled to develop due to various internal and external factors. This paper attempts to predict the sustainability of family businesses in the RMI. This study uses a multiple case study approach and involves 9 family businesses located in Central Lampung, Lampung Province, Indonesia. The nine family businesses are grouped into three categories: 3 small-scale rice mills (SRM), 3 medium-scale rice mills (MRM), and 3 large-scale rice mills (LRM). Data collection was conducted with in-depth interviews and supported by the McKinsey/General Electric (GE) matrix as an analytical tool to assess business strength and industry attractiveness. The results show that SRM has a low GE matrix value in terms of both its business strength and industry attractiveness. As a consequence, they have switched to other businesses and do not expect the next generation to continue the business. MRM generally has medium GE matrix values on both sides. They are trying to survive while waiting for the industry environment to become more conducive. Only LRM has a high value on both sides. They try to modernize the technology and involve the next generation to continue the business. The results of this study illustrate the possibility of a shift in the scale of RMI in the future, where SRM’s family business is expected to withdraw from the industry, and what remains are MRM and LRM.

Abstract

The business in the truck body manufacturing sector is one of the potential business sectors, especially in the North Luwu area, where this area has a lot of agricultural commodities that require transportation equipment such as trucks in the business process. This business practice is carried out to find out the strategy for creating SKRB ownership, cost leadership strategy, and differentiation strategy in winning the competition. This business is carried out in the North Luwu area and has been running for about a year. Based on the results of business practices that have been passed, the results show that the SKRB ownership strategy and cost leadership strategy are not an advantage or a competitive advantage in winning the competition. Meanwhile, a differentiation strategy in which the company makes one product with excellent strength and very smooth results becomes a competitive advantage. Unfortunately, this differentiation strategy has the effect of expensive product prices, causing body sales to not meet expectations. Keywords : dump truck carosery, business, strategies
