Abstract

This research will discuss the analysis of the design and manufacture of website-based e-certificate applications using the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) method. The main problems that underlie this research are the waste in the use of paper and the cost of printing certificates, as well as the difficulty of distributing certificates to participants for every activity held in an agency. In addition, another problem is the number of fake certificates from activities that have been held and the difficulty of checking the authenticity of these certificates. Therefore, we need an application that can facilitate the making of certificates without having to be printed conventionally, assist in distributing certificates from activities that have been held to activity participants, as well as in checking the authenticity of certificates. For making applications using the OOP method with tools Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a tool in designing applications. The results achieved from this research are a website-based e-certificate application that will be used to print certificates digitally (paperless), distribute e-certificates from every activity organized by an agency, and check the authenticity of certificates using QRCode technology.

Abstract

Lutjanus spp is a genus of the Lutjanidae family. The number of Lutjanus spp in waters around the world are 72 species. For this amount, 33 of them living on Indonesian waters. According to the IUCN List (2020), about ten species have decreased in population. One of the causes that population decline in several species is, the recording of capture fisheries has very limited production data. This is caused by the difficulty of identification in the field, which results in the overfishing of certain species. The identification process can be carried out based on morphometric features. Geometric morphometrics can be explaining morphological variations objectively and accurately. There are several methods used to represent the shape of an image in general. Namely point linking, complex coordinate, tangent angle, contour curvature, and triangle-area representation.Lutjanus spp by calculating the value of landmark positions, landmark curvature, changes in landmark angle, landmark distance, and landmark inclination. The results of feature extraction were used to classify Lutjanus spp (Lutjanus argentimaculatus, Lutjanus bohar, Lutjanus carponotatus, Lutjanus fulviflamma, and Lutjanus sebae). The results of this study indicate that the morphometric geometric approach can extract the feature values of the position of landmarks, a curvature of landmarks, changes in the angle of the landmark, distance of landmark, and the inclination of the landmark. The classification results using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification technique can distinguish Lutjanus spp with an accuracy rate of 65.03%. Thus, the application of SVM can be used to classify Lutjanus spp species, which will be useful in the identification process. Keywords: clasificasion, identification, morphometric geometric, Lutjanus spp, support vector machine. AbstrakLutjanus spp. adalah salah satu marga dari famili Lutjanidae. Jumlah spesies Lutjanus spp di perairan seluruh dunia yaitu 72 spesies. Dari 72 spesies tersebut 33 diantaranya hidup di perairan Indonesia. Menurut IUCN (2020) sekitar 10 spesies mengalami penurunan populasi. Salah satu penyebab menurunnya populasi pada beberapa spesies yaitu pencatatan data produksi perikanan tangkap masih sangat terbatas. Hal ini disebakan oleh sulitnya identifikasi di lapangan sehingga mengakibatkan overfishing pada spesies tertentu. Proses identifikasi dapat dilakukan berdasarkan ciri morphometrik. Geometri Morfometrik dapat menjelaskan variasi morfologi secara objektif dan akurat. Ada beberapa metode yang digunakan dalam merepresentasi bentuk suatu citra secara umum. yaitu point linking, complex coordinate, tangent angle, contour curvature, serta triangle-area representation. Pendekatan morphometric geometric pada penellitian ini digunakan untuk mengekstraksi fitur bentuk Lutjanus spp. dengan menghitung nilai posisi landmark, kelengkungan landmark, perubahan sudut landmark, jarak landmark, dan kemiringan landmark. Hasil ekstraksi fitur digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan spesies Lutjanus spp. (Lutjanus argentimaculatus, Lutjanus bohar, Lutjanus carponotatus, Lutjanus fulviflamma, dan Lutjanus sebae). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa pendekatan Geometri Morfometrik dapat melakukan ekstraksi nilai fitur posisi landmark, kelengkungan landmark, perubahan sudut landmark, jarak landmark, dan kemiringan landmark.  Adapun hasil klasifikasi menggunakan teknik klasifikasi Support Vector Machine (SVM) mampu membedakan spesies Lutjanus spp. dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 65.03%. Dengan demikian, penerapan SVM dapat digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi terhadap spesies Lutjanus spp yang akan bermanfaat pada proses identifikasi.Kata kuncis: klasifikasi, identifikasi, geometri morfometrik, spesies lutjanus spp., support vector machine.

Abstract

Kebutuhan masyarakat akan adanya pengiriman informasi dari satu tempat ke tempat yang berbeda sudah tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi. Pada zaman sekarang pengiriman informasi telah dipermudah dengan adanya salah satu fitur dari sebuah smartphone, yaitu SMS (Short Message Service), yang mana dapat menggantikan peran surat dalam bertukar pesan. Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu dan berkembangnya zaman, serta perkembangan yang teknologi semakin canggih, muncul beberapa kekurangan pada SMS. Salah satunya yang paling disorot ialah tingkat keamanan SMS tersebut. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa zaman sekarang sudah banyak para pengusaha/petinggi/pejabat pemerintahan yang menggunakan SMS untuk bertukar pesan yang sifatnya sangat rahasia. Sehingga telah banyak terjadi pencurian data SMS atau yang sering disebut penyadapan yang membuat tingkat keamanan SMS perlu ditingkatkan. Untuk mengatasi masalah yang telah diuraikan sebelumnya, peneliti berencana untuk merancang dan membuatkan sebuah aplikasi enkripsi dan dekripsi yang akan diimplementasikan untuk aplikasi SMS pada smartphone android. Aplikasi ini digunakan untuk mengirim dan menerima pesan teks pada smartphone berbasis android dengan mengamankan atau menyembunyikan pesan asli. Sehingga, pengirim tidak perlu takut pesannya akan disadap dan diketahui orang lain yang tidak berkepentingan.

Abstract

Perkembangan ICT yang semakin pesat, melahirkan sebuah model pembelajaran baru yang dikenal sebagai mobile learning (M-Learning) yang aktifitas utamanya adalah mendistribusikan bahan belajar kepada peserta didik agar dapat diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja dengan menggunakan perangkat komunikasi portabel semacam Smart Phone, Tablet PC, PDA, dsb. Namun, M-Learning tidak begitu saja bisa langsung diimplementasikan pada suatu institusi pendidikan, mengingat kemampuan komputasi dan media untuk menyajikan konten dari M-Learning yang dimiliki oleh perangkat telepon genggam terbatas. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini akan diteliti bagaimana mengimplementasikan M-Learning dengan menggunakan MLE dan Moodle yang menggunakan platform J2ME sebagai aplikasinya. Serta akan dilakukan analisa performansi M-Learning pada jaringan wireless menggunakan aplikasi wireshark dengan dua metode pengukuran. Pertama, menggunakan satu client yang akan diberikan bandwidth yang berbeda-beda dalam mengkases kursus dan konten M-Learning. Kedua, menggunakan pengukuran skalabilitas, menggunakan lima client untuk mengkases kursus dan konten M-Learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian MLE dan Moodle sebagai aplikasi M-Learning merupakan sebuah solusi dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Untuk hasil pengukuran performansi mobile learning pada jaringan wireless didapatkan nilai throghput paling besar didapatkan pada bandwidth 1024 kbps dengan ukuran MLO 603 kb, yaitu sebesar 113958,63763565 bps. Packet loss paling besar didapatkan pada bandwidth 512 kbps dengan ukuran MLO 454 kb, yaitu sebesar 0,0039795918 %. Nilai packet loss ini tergolong baik pada komunikasi data TCP karena masih dibawah 0,1 % (berdasarkan ITU-T Y.1541). Nilai delay paling besar didapatkan pada bandwidth 28 kbps dengan ukuran MLO 274 kb, yaitu sebesar 0,0003207908 detik. Waktu untuk reload dan konten MLO sampai ke pengguna paling tercepat didapatkan pada bandwidth 1024 kbps dengan ukuran MLO 454 kb, yaitu sebesar 9,294064 detik. Berdasarkan pengujian, parameter performansi seperti throughput, packet loss, delay, dan time sangat dipengaruhi oleh besar bandwidth, ukuran file, dan jumlah user.

Abstract

In every educational institution, it certainly has its own tuition payment system. Along with the rapid advancement of technology and information at this time, certainly needed an effective and efficient and relevant system which will make these institutions can compete with other institutions. At the National University lecture payment and verification of lecture payments are still done conventionally, ie students make transfers or cash deposits to the Bank in collaboration with the campus, then students need to show proof of physical payment to campus staff (BAK) for verification which is assessed less efficient. With these problems, the author in his research intends to design an online UPS payment application based on Android and integrated with the Midtrans API. Midtrans API is used to improve payment service performance and make it easier for students to make UPS payments on mobile. In this research, several types of programming languages are used, including PHP, Java, and MySQL, accompanied by the use of the waterfall method. The Waterfall method is used as a system development method which is carried out systematically, starting from planning to testing the system. The reason the author uses the waterfall method is that it can facilitate the management and design requirements (needs) of the system created. With this research the author hopes to produce convenience for students in making payments to UPS verification through an online UPS payment application.

Abstract

The Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) is a non-formal education unit that provides educational services for people in need. Currently PKBM uses face-to-face learning methods in classrooms, so it is not optimal for learning citizens because interaction with tutors can only be done in the PKBM environment. On the other hand, e-learning technology can make it easier for PKBM tutors / teachers in implementing learning because learning can be done anytime and anywhere according to the abilities of the teaching participants. The main objective of this community service activity is to provide training in the use of cloud-based Moodle e-learning for PKBM tutors / teachers. The implementation methods consist of: (1) Needs Analysis; (2) CloudMoodle implementation; (3) Preparation of Training Materials; (4) Data Collection of Prospective Training Participants; (5) Creating PKBM Tutor / Teacher Accounts; and (6) Evaluation and Reporting. The training was attended by 31 participants from 10 PKBM institutions. The training material is delivered interactively with materials including: (i) a general explanation of the Moodle application; (ii) learning material management training; and (iii) Value management training. Based on the results of the evaluation, the training activities were well organized based on the feedback given by the participants in terms of three aspects: (i) the participants' understanding of the training material; (ii) providing training; and (iii) training resource persons.

Abstract

Regarding to the research that had been done by Michael Weitzman and colleagues, children who are frequently or persistently absent from school tend to perform poorly in school and are likely to drop out before graduation from school. The parents action for this kind of problems are highly needed, but nowadays, the implemented system by school as the education provider does not good enough to connect the educational institution with parents faster and efficiently, so that the related problems that occur could not handled earlier. Thus, it is important to create an information system based on technology that could be able to connect parents and education institution faster and efficient. The used methods to support this research are designing system, iterate the related researches, and retrieve data from one of National-Vocational High School in Jakarta. As the system flow, the education provider input the presence attendances of their student on the system interface, system automatically record it and then directly send it to the parents by real time. By building this system, the education provider expected to be able to handle this kind of cheats related with student absence faster, easier, and efficient, so that the unexpected problems could be able to minimize either vanished at all.

Abstract

ICT products that are widely used in universities in Indonesia are E-Learning with a Learning Management System (LMS) and Academic Information System (SIA). The existence of these two products from ICT will greatly assist the running of academic business processes in a higher education institution. Of course, if the two are well integrated, especially for managing existing academic data. However, in many tertiary institutions, the two systems are still not integrated, such as in managing academic data. The huge amount of data and the complexity of these two systems will make the management and integration process difficult and inefficient if done conventionally. Seeing these problems, the researcher intends to conduct research on the integration of the two REST-based Web Service systems and use the External Database feature which will be used to synchronize data from SIA to E-Learning in real time.

Abstract

Steel Hot-rolled Coil atau yang biasa disebut dengan sebutan Baja Canai Panas merupakan sebuah produk baja yang dihasilkan dengan proses penggulungan di dalam suhu yang sangat tinggi. Sebagai bahan baku utama dunia yang sering dipakai dalam pembuatan konstruksi bangunan, jembatan, rel kereta api, dan keperluan otomotif sehingga harga Steel Hot-rolled Coil sangat fluktuatif dan sering kali membuat perencanaan pembelian menjadi tidak efektif. Oleh karena itu, diusulkan sebuah metode prediksi harga Steel Hot-rolled Coil dengan mempelajari pola dan tingkah laku pada data time series harga yang sudah lampau. Metode yang direkomendasikan pada penelitian ini yaitu prediksi harga Steel Hot-rolled Coil dengan menggunakan salah satu arsitektur Artificial Neural Network (ANN) yaitu Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). Dengan semakin optimal model yang dibangun maka semakin tinggi akurasi yang didapatkan. Parameter RNN yang optimal dapat diperoleh dengan algoritma optimasi RMSProp (Root Mean Square Propagation). Dari proses pelatihan dan pengujian, didapatkan akurasi terbaik sebesar 90.90% pada data latih dan 91.02% pada data uji.

Abstract

The Informatics Distance Learning Study Program at UNSIA is one of the study programs that employs a significant number of practicum-type courses as part of its learning process. The implementation of the practicum is carried out through joint simulations to achieve 21st-century graduate competencies. The implementation of learning for practicum-type courses is carried out through the utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS) and zoom. In practicum-type courses, students are required to install the software necessary for the lecture process, particularly for joint simulations. A significant number of students have encountered difficulties in installing the requisite software. These issues led to a dearth of student engagement during the joint simulations conducted via Zoom, particularly in terms of active participation. The implementation of an appropriate online programming simulator (OPS) is expected to enhance participation in practicum-type courses during synchronous sessions, thereby facilitating the acquisition of the greatest possible learning. The results of the analysis conducted before the implementation of OPS revealed that the lowest active class participation rate was 36.7% (22 students) out of a total of 60 students, while the highest active class participation rate was 50.0% (30 students) out of a total of 60 students. Following the implementation of OPS, the lowest participation rate was 83.3% (53 students) of the total 60 students, while the highest active class participation rate reached 96.7% (58 students) of the total 60 students.
