Abstract

Artikel ini bermaksud untuk menentukan pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah menengah katolik dari variabel determinan budaya sekolah dan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai. Penelitian ini menggunaan metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik analisa data regresi linier berganda. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang didistribusi kepada 93 guru sekolah menengah katolik Yayasan Joseph Yeemye sebagai sampel melalui survey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru sekolah menengah katolik; pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru sekolah menengah katolik; dan budaya sekolah dan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru sekolah menengah katolik.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the Implementation of the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept at SMP Negeri 1 Bitung. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in qualitative research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the study is, first: in the Application of the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept at SMP Negeri 1 Bitung. The implementation itself has begun to be implemented and the application includes three environments, namely, the family environment, the school environment, and the community environment. Second: what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept, namely the support of teachers in building enthusiasm and intentions for students, then there is support from parents and the environment in developing their talents and potential. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors themselves lack the creativity of subject teachers when studying online, inadequate study hours, and lack of intense communication between teachers and students. And then the third: efforts in improving the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept at SMP Negeri 1 Bitung, namely, subject teachers make creative and innovative activity plans by considering all aspects as well as possible. Then the teacher reflects and evaluates at the end of the class hour to achieve the learning objectives.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach research method to obtain in-depth and descriptive data regarding the implementation of counseling guidance in overcoming addictiongadget at Santa Rosa de Lima Tondano Catholic High School. In this study, the sources of data for researchers were school principals, teachers, and class X and XI students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, document collection and documentation. The focus of this research is on the three formulations of the problem, namely (1) How is the implementation of counseling guidance to students at Santa Rosa de Lima Tondano Catholic High School? (2) What factors support and hinder the implementation of guidance and counseling? (3) What are the school's efforts in counseling guidance for students who experience addictiongadget?. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of counseling guidance must involve all elements of the school and a support system is needed to achieve successful implementation of counseling guidance. Factors supporting the synergy of school elements, the role of the teacher in providing advice and teaching to students and the relatively small number of students support the effectiveness of the implementation of counseling guidance. The inhibiting factor is the absence of teachers with counseling guidance in schools and students who have not been able to be open about the problems they are experiencing. Researchers found that there had been significant efforts on the part of the school in implementing counseling guidance at Santa Rosa de Lima Tondano Catholic High School, teachers and teaching staff had been able to identify students who experienced addiction.gadget and able to work together with all elements of education in schools in overcoming addiction gadget on students.
