Abstract

This study aims to describe the environmental literacy profile of students at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The research technique is a survey with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were students at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen. The location of this research was at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen, Demak Regency, for the academic year 2021-2022. The results of the study from a sample of 53 students showed that students' ecological knowledge was included in the sufficient criteria, namely 48.3%, The environmental literacy of students in general is in good criteria, namely 68.61%. From this research, it is necessary to provide environmental literacy to students. It is hoped that this research can improve environmental literacy in flood disaster mitigation for students at MTs. Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen.

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of Muslimat 06 Lanji Kindergarten which has the advantage of being the only driving school in Patebon sub-district. So the School Operational Curriculum used is the Merdeka curriculum. This success certainly cannot be separated from the role of the school principal. The aims of this research are: 1) To describe and analyze the role of the principal as a manager in implementing the driving school operational curriculum at Muslimat 06 Lanji Kindergarten, 2) To describe and analyze the role of the school principal as an entrepreneurial developer in implementing the driving school operational curriculum at Muslimat 06 Lanji Kindergarten, and 3) Describe and analyze the role of the principal as supervisor in implementing the driving school operational curriculum at Muslimat 06 Lanji Kindergarten. Study this is annoying approach qualitative with a case study at TK Muslimat 06 Lanji subdistrict Patebon , done on month July-August 2023. Step study includes : 1) compiling plan research , 2) choose field research , 3) take care of licensing , 4) Exploring And evaluate field , 5) Choose And utilise information , 6) Prepare equipment research . Instrument study This is researcher yourself . Technique data collection : interviews , observations , And documentation . Technique analysis of the data used is interactive model from Miles, Huberman which includes : collection data ,condensation data, data presentation and withdrawal conclusion . Checking validity of the data used test credibility , transferability , dependability , and confirmability . The results of the research show that: (1) The role of the principal as manager has been carried out well by the principal, with curriculum planning and development, a clear vision and mission, resource management and monitoring the effectiveness of the curriculum although several obstacles are still found in resource management (2 ) The role of the school principal as an entrepreneurial developer has been carried out through market days. (3) The principal's role as supervisor has also been carried out well, namely preparing supervision plans, regularly assessing teacher performance and evaluating the results of teacher performance assessments as well as following up on evaluation results. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the role of the principal in implementing the operational curriculum of the Driving School at Muslimat 06 Lanji Kindergarten has been implemented well.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate how students' mathematical problem solving abilities are related to the material on three-variable linear equation systems. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were 3 class X students, 1 student with high cognitive abilities, 1 student with moderate cognitive abilities, and 1 student with low cognitive abilities. Research data was obtained through giving tests of mathematical problem solving abilities in the form of essay questions. Based on research, students with high cognitive abilities have good problem solving abilities starting with understanding the problem, planning strategies, implementing strategies, and checking back on the answers obtained. Students with moderate and low cognitive abilities do not have good problem solving abilities, students with moderate cognitive abilities are able to understand problems but are not precise in planning, implementing strategies and checking the answers obtained, and for students with low cognitive abilities not yet able to understand the questions, plan strategies, implement strategies or recheck the results of the answers obtained.

Abstract

Based on the results of PISA in 2018, Indonesia experienced a decline compared to PISA in 2015. The low ability to solve problems was caused by several factors, one of which was the learning process carried out in schools. Problem solving used in learning makes students construct their knowledge and take a role in acquiring knowledge. Researchers will develop contextual learning-based teaching materials to improve problem solving skills in grade V elementary school science students by validating the items on the instrument for preparing teaching materials. This research uses a quantitative approach, in the form of statistical data. The calculation process in determining the validity of the instrument uses Aiken's V and to test the reliability of teaching materials using SPSS 22. The research was carried out by distributing validation questionnaires for teaching materials to 5 validators as respondents. Based on the results of the content validation test analysis taking into account the categorization determination values shown in the Aiken's V Table with a coefficient value of 0.87 showing at 0.95. Meanwhile, the data reliability results show that r = 0.902 with r table 0.878. These teaching materials are declared valid and reliable so they are suitable for use.
