Abstract

Deer is one of the species that going through a reduction of population because its being used as the target of illegal hunting. To prevent the reduction in population, the efforts to save them with conservation method both in-situ or ex-situ has been done. Captive deer in PT. Pusri Palembang is the only captive deer which located in urban areas of Palembang and carrying out an ex-situ conservation effort. This research aimed to analyze the habitat condition such as daily feed, water needed, and shelter, to know about the level of palatability and also to analyze the habitat condition as a basic of captive deer management towards an optimalization. The research has been done in January 2015. The interview method, literature study and field observation are used to get the data about population and habitat condition in captive deer PT. Pusri Palembang. It can be concluded that the habitat condition in the captive deer PT. Pusri Palembang still quite good, and 1,5 hectare areas still be able to maintain the total of 44 deers (22 sambar deers and 22 chital deers) in 2015.Key words: sambar deer, chital deer, captivity, ex-situ conservation, PT Pusri Palembang.

Abstract

Mangrove is one of the plants that has the potential to be developed into medicinal plants. However, further research is needed to prove scientifically the content of secondary metabolites in it. This study aims to identify the secondary metabolites contained from leaves and roots in Avicennia alba, Rhizopora apiculata and Sonneratia alba. The leaves and roots of mangroves extracted by maceration using ethyl acetate. The secondary metabolites contained in mangrove samples obtained by doing phytochemical tests through color tests. Phytochemical test results showed that secondary metabolites contained in mangrove Avicennia alba are flavonoids, steroids/triterpenoids, saponins, and tannins/phenols in leaf samples, whereas in its root samples it contains flavonoids and steroids/triterponoid compounds. Sonneratia alba contains flavonoids, steroids/teriterpenoids, saponins and tannins/phenols in its leaf samples, while the root samples contain flavonoids, steroids/teriterpenoids and tannins/phenols compounds. The leaf samples of mangrove Rhizopora apiculatacontains flavonoid and steroid/triterpenoid compounds whereas in its root samples contains flavonoids, steroids/triterpenoids, saponins as well as tannins/phenols.

Abstract

Fenomena alih fungsi lahan dari sektor pertanian ke industri acapkali disebut sebagai proses transformasi faktor produksi yaitu lahan. Alih fungsi lahan terjadi karena perbedaan nilai dari adanya perbedaan kepentingan akan penggunaan lahan sehingga penggunaan lahan juga akan berpindah menuju penggunaan yang lebih produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya alih fungsi lahan pertanian khususnya di wilayah Malang Raya dan mengestimasi pengaruh alih fungsi lahan terhadap pendapatan masyarakat di wilayah Malang Raya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis data simultan 3SLS (Three Stage Least Square) untuk mengetahui hubungan simultan antara alih fungsi lahan dengan pendapatan masyarakat di wilayah Malang Raya. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa alih fungsi lahan pertanian di Malang Raya tidak dipengaruhi oleh adanya proses industrialisasi. Disisi lain, industrialisasi memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap pendapatan perkapita di Malang Raya. Kata Kunci : Transformasi, Alih Fungsi Lahan, Pendapatan perkapita.
