<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Artikel ini membahas komodifikasi dari Padepokan Guruminda dalam mempertahankan tradisi sawer pada upacara adat pernikahan Sunda di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bentuk dan struktur penyajian sawer, serta bentuk komodifikasi yang dilakukan oleh Padepokan Guruminda. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktural fungsionalisme Talcot Parsons serta ditunjang dengan metode komodifikasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dokumentasi, dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Hasil penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa bentuk dan struktur penyajian tradisi sawer gaya Padepokan Guruminda masih otentik. Keotentikan yang masih dijaga oleh Padepokan Guruminda menjadikan nilai tambah yang positif. Nilai lebih tersebut yang menjadi nilai jual sehingga terjadilah komodifikasi. Kata Kunci: Komodifikasi, Padepokan Guruminda, Tradisi Sawer ABSTRACT This article discusses the commodification of Padepokan Guruminda in maintaining the sawer tradition at the Sundanese wedding ceremony in Bandung. This study focuses on the form and structure of the sawer presentation, as well as the form of commodification carried out by Padepokan Guruminda. The theoretical basis used is the structural functionalism theory of Talcot Parsons and is supported by the commodification method. The research method in this study is a qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, literature study, documentation, and unstructured interviews. The results of this study suggest that the form and structure of the presentation of the Sawer tradition in the Padepokan Guruminda style is still authentic. The authenticity that is still maintained by the Guruminda Padepokan is a positive added value. This surplus value becomes the selling point so that commodification occurs.
