Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of audio-visual media in improving the quality of learning for students studying Islamic Religious Education class VIII at Takhassus Al-Qur'an Middle School, Kalibeber. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative type. In this research, the techniques used for collecting data were observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of the research used were class VIII Islamic Religious Education teachers and class VIII students at Takhassus Al-Qur'an Kalibeber Middle School. The results of the research show that the use of audio-visual media is very capable of improving the quality of student learning in Islamic Religious Education learning. During the learning process, students showed quite high interest in learning, then students were very enthusiastic about learning using audio-visual media. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media to improve the quality of student learning in Islamic Religious Education is quite effective, both in terms of attracting students' attention and increasing satisfactory learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong pemahaman mendalam peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Pembelajaran PAI di sekolah masih sering berfokus pada hafalan dan penyampaian materi secara satu arah sehingga kurang memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendekatan pembelajaran Deep Learning hadir sebagai alternatif untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, reflektif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran Deep Learning dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMP Negeri 1 Selomerto, mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan penerapannya, serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru PAI, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Selomerto. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Deep Learning telah diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran PAI melalui pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, diskusi kelompok, pemecahan masalah, refleksi pembelajaran, serta pengaitan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penerapan pendekatan ini memberikan berbagai kelebihan, antara lain meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi siswa serta meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman materi secara lebih mendalam. Adapun kekurangan dan kendala yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi, serta rendahnya motivasi sebagian siswa untuk mengulang dan mempelajari kembali materi di rumah. Dengan demikian, pendekatan Deep Learning dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI yang lebih bermakna dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik di era modern.

Abstract

This investigation aims to: 1) To find out the concept of instilling the character values ​​of discipline and responsibility of students through the ro'an tradition at the Miftahul Huda D1 Siwatu Islamic Boarding School, 2) to find out the instillation of the character values ​​of discipline of students through the ro'an tradition at the Miftahul Huda D1 Siwatu Islamic Boarding School, and 3) to find out the instillation of the character values ​​of responsibility of students through the ro'an tradition at the Miftahul Huda D1 Siwatu Islamic Boarding School. This thesis uses a qualitative research approach with a field research approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources are obtained from the caretakers, administrators, santri, and alumni of the Miftahul Huda D1 Islamic Boarding School. The analysis technique used is an inductive method, which is an analysis based on the data obtained, then developing a specific relationship pattern or hypothesis. The analysis used is an analysis before and during the fieldwork. The results of the study show that: (1) The concept of instilling the character values ​​of discipline and responsibility through the ro'an tradition includes habituation, observing and imitating figures who are considered influential by the students, and receiving information verbally. This ro'an activity is carried out every Sunday morning. This series of activities includes gathering students in the yard of the pondok, distributing tasks and taking attendance. (2) Instilling the character values ​​of discipline through this ro'an tradition uses the exemplary method, habituation method, advice method, supervision method, and rule enforcement method. (3) Instilling the character values ​​of responsibility through this ro'an tradition uses the habituation method, giving tasks, supervision, rule enforcement, and cooperation
