Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini membahas analisis wacana kritis berita kriminal pada Sriwijaya Post, Sumatera Ekpress, dan Berita Pagi. Masalah dalam penelitian ini, yaitu bagaimana strategi penulis menyembunyikan ideologinya dalam pemberitaan dilihat dari struktur mikro semantik, sintaksis, stilistik, dan retoris; ideologi apa yang tersembunyi di pemberitaan kriminal di media massa cetak Sriwijaya Post, Sumatera Ekpress, dan Berita Pagi; bagaimana perbandingan ideologi Sriwijaya Post, Sumatera Ekpress, dan Berita Pagi dalam pemberitaan kriminal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan.Sumber data penelitian ini adalah berita kriminal di media massa cetak Sriwijaya Post, Sumatera Ekpress, dan Berita Pagi edisi Januari 2016, dengan teknik analisis data: melakukan AWK terhadap strategi yang dilakukan oleh wartawan dalam struktur mikro semantik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sumatera Ekspress lebih menganggap berita kriminal adalah berita penting dibandingkan kedua media massa lainnya. Sedangkan dari cara penggambaran pelaku, Berita Pagi lebih  menekankan pada kekejaman pelaku. Kata-kata kunci: analisis wacana kritis, media massa, berita kriminal

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the comparison of the speed of reading the folklore of South Sumatra and the short story published by Kompas. The sample in this study is the Second Semester Students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Tridinanti University of Palembang.  The technique of data analysis was a test technique. Quantitative data analysis technique was used to analyze the mean of reading comprehension test result. The text used is South Sumatra folklore entitled Sembesat and Sembesit, while the short story published by Kompas is written by Farizal Sikumbang entitled Penagih Hutang Bersepeda Kumbang. The procedures of data analysis consisted of  measuring the speed reading (KM), content comprehension (PI), and reading ability (KMP). The texts being tested are South Sumatran folklore and the short story published by Kompas. Based on the result of research, it was found that the reading speed of South Sumatera folklore was 161,71 kpm with the comprehension level 34,04%, while the speed of reading narrative story published by Kompas is 203,71 kpm with understanding level 62,14%. This shows that the reading speed of students in reading folklore is lower than the short story published by Kompas.Keywords— Speed Reading, Folklore, Short Stories.

Abstract

A B S T R A C T This research is a CAR designed to improve speed reading skills with skimming techniques of second semester students in Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program FKIP UTP. The research design uses the Kemmis and Taggart models which consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique of this research is in the form of observation and interviews. The level of success of this study is the reading speed of students reached 350 kpm with the percentage of reading comprehension of 70%. Based on the results, the average speed of student reading on pre-cycle is 153 kpm, in cycle I is 258 kpm, and in cycle II is 351 kpm. Furthermore, for the pre-cycle reading comprehension level is 37%, in the first cycle is 64%, and in the second cycle is 73%. Besides that, it was proven that positive changes occurred based on observations and interviews.

Abstract

This research aims to study, analyze, and understand the elements in drama script writing, focusing on the suitability of content, the completeness of intrinsic elements and structure, and the linguistic rules of drama scripts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe the condition of students' drama script writing. Data were collected through a drama script writing test with a romance theme, which was given to 16 6th semester Indonesian Language and Literature Education students at Tridinanti University. Data validity was tested using triangulation techniques, and data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Wattpad application was effective in helping students write drama scripts. Students are able to develop story ideas, diction, language styles, and creative imagination by utilizing Wattpad. Overall, students showed an increase in drama script writing skills after using the Wattpad application as a learning medium. Wattpad can be a relevant, interesting, and interactive learning media in learning literature, especially drama script writing. The utilization of Wattpad can help students adapt to technological advances and create more effective literature learning.Keywords: Writing; Drama script; Romance; Wattpad; Student

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap bahan ajar khsusunya Mata Kuliah Menyimak yang Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif Bahan ajar yang tepat dan layak digunakan dalam suatu pembelajaran sebaiknya berdasarkan kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah yang diajarkan agar mahasiswa dapat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mereka butuhkan dan inginkan. Hasil penelitian berupa data yang menggali respons mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan bahan ajar mata kuliah menyimak; respons mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan buku ajarmata kuliah menyimak; respons mahasiswa terhadap evaluasi buku ajarmata kuliah menyimak; respons mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan buku ajar mata kuliah menyimak; kendala dan saran mahasiswa terkait buku ajar mata kuliah menyimak. Berdasarkan data yang ditemukan dan dianalisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Tridinanti membutuhkan buku ajar menyimak yang sesuai kebutuhan.
