Abstract

This study aims to identify the anthropometric profiles of karate athletes based on age groups in Pontianak. This study aims to identify the anthropometric profiles of karate athletes based on age groups in Pontianak. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The sample used in this study was karate athletes in the city of Pontianak, consisting of 45 athletes. Data collection techniques using tests and measurements. Data analysis was assisted by the SPSS version 25 application. The results showed an anthropometric profile of the physical condition of karate athletes in Pontianak city with a normal category average with the following distribution of results and percentages, the less category was 9 people with a percentage of 39%, the normal category with a percentage of 59 % with a total of 35 athletes in the overweight category the percentage is 2% with a total of 1 athlete while for athletes in the obese category the percentage is 0% with the number of athletes being 0. From the results of the measurement tests it can be concluded that the anthropometric profile of karate athletes based on the age group in Pontianak normal category. Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan aktivitas manusia yang berkunjung menimbulkan potensi pencemaran di pesisir. Salah satu ancaman serius pencemaran pesisir adalah sampah karena dapat mengganggu keindahan pantai, merusak kualitas air, serta mengganggu organisme dan ekosistemnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis, jumlah, dan kelimpahan sampah laut di Pantai Pemedas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Garis transek berukuran 100 x 20 meter dipasang sejajar dengan garis pantai dan dibagi menjadi 5 strip berukuran 20 meter. Sub transek dengan ukuran 5×5 meter ditempatkan di setiap jalur yang mewakili volume sampah terbesar hingga terkecil. Sampah makro yang terkumpul di lokasi pengambilan sampel sebanyak 125 butir dengan berat total 2048,11 gram. Plastik merupakan jenis sampah yang paling banyak ditemukan sebanyak 95 butir dengan total densitas 19 partikel/m2. Jenis lainnya berada di urutan kedua dengan total 10 item dengan kepadatan 2 partikel/m2. Secara berat, sampah makro didominasi oleh kaca sebesar 31%, diikuti plastik sebesar 23%, kayu sebesar 16%, karet sebesar 12%, dan logam sebesar 10% dengan berat jenis masing-masing 1 partikel/m2. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata kelimpahan antara sampah plastik laut dengan jenis kayu, karet, kaca, logam, dan lainnya (p-value <0,05).
