The development of tourism in rural areas using the community participation method is an ideal condition that can be achieved on the basis of community enthusiasm as the basic and main capital. It is supported by the availability of natural and cultural resources, good governance, and also academics or other institutions as facilitators. In terms of developing tourism in Belitar Seberang Village, the Physical Education Study Program has a supporting role through community service activities in the development of a tourist village because this village is Dehasen University Bengkulu Development Village. It is intended so that there is an integration between the activities carried out. Then, assistance activities will be carried out in Mei 2023. This activity will contribute to the development of tourist attractions, especially nature tourism, and tourist accommodation in the form of homestays. Using the potential of institutional networks, the Physical Education Study Program collaborates with students and lecturers to jointly transfer knowledge to the community as owners and managers of tourist destinations. Interaction is carried out with the community through direct discussions in forum, namely tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis). The results of the activity show that mentoring the development of tourism villages in a sustainable manner is able to build community enthusiasm to continue participate in village tourism development activities.

Abstract

In Seluma Regency there is a club that was founded on July 28 2023, where the club is called the SPC Swimming Club, which happened to be founded by a lecturer at Dehasen University, namely Dwingki Marta Putra. The SPC Swimming Club was founded with the aim of advancing Seluma Regency's human resources, especially in swimming sports, because in swimming sports, Seluma Regency can be said to be lagging behind other districts. This can be seen when there are swimming tournaments or championships held in both districts and cities, there are no representatives of swimming athletes from Seluma, therefore the SPC Swimming Club was established so that human resources in Seluma Regency can compete. Where the SPC Swimming Club itself has 35 students, the majority of whom are elementary school students, meaning that with the existence of the SPC Swimming Club many children are enthusiastic about taking part in the training.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reaction speed training on the accuracy of goalkeepers in catching penalty kicks in futsal extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu. This study is quantitative in nature, using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of eight futsal goalkeepers selected from extracurricular participants. The research instrument used an observation sheet for penalty ball catching skills, which assessed perfect catches, imperfect catches, and failed catches. The data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-tests to determine the significance of the differences in the results before and after the treatment. The results showed that reaction speed training had a significant effect on improving the accuracy of goalkeepers in catching penalty balls, with a t-value of -12.263 and a p- value < 0.05. This training improved the coordination between perception and motor response, accelerated reactions to the direction of the ball, and fostered mental readiness such as concentration and confidence. Thus, reaction speed training has been proven effective in improving the performance of futsal goalkeepers. Researchers recommend that reaction speed training programs be included in the futsal extracurricular curriculum, especially for goalkeepers. Further research with a larger sample size is recommended to reinforce these findings.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the contribution of agility and speed to the dribbling ability of soccer players at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu Selatan. The research employed a correlational quantitative design. The population consisted of all soccer players participating in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu Selatan, with the sample selected using a total sampling technique. Agility was measured using the Illinois Agility Test, speed was measured using the 30-meter sprint test, and dribbling ability was assessed through a soccer dribbling test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis to determine both the partial and simultaneous contributions of agility and speed to dribbling ability. The results showed that agility had a significant contribution to dribbling ability, speed also contributed significantly to dribbling performance, and agility and speed simultaneously provided a significant contribution to the dribbling ability of soccer players. Players with better agility and higher speed tended to demonstrate more effective ball control while dribbling during play. These findings indicate that agility and speed are important physical components that support dribbling performance in soccer. In conclusion, agility and speed contribute significantly to the dribbling ability of soccer players at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu Selatan. Therefore, coaches and physical education teachers are recommended to incorporate agility and speed training programs to improve players’ dribbling performance and overall soccer skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ladder drill training on the shooting skills of futsal players at SMK Negeri 4 of Bengkulu City. The study was motivated by the relatively low shooting ability of the players, as reflected in inadequate shooting accuracy, insufficient kicking power, and poor movement coordination during shooting. This research employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The study population consisted of students participating in the futsal extracurricular program at SMK Negeri 4 of Bengkulu City. A total of 20 students were selected as the sample using the total sampling technique. The research instrument was a futsal shooting skills test. The treatment consisted of ladder drill training conducted over 16 sessions within one month, with a training frequency of four sessions per week. Data were analyzed using the normality test and hypothesis testing through a t-test. The results revealed a significant improvement in the participants' shooting skills following the ladder drill training. The mean pretest score increased from 17.4 to 27.9 on the posttest. The t-test yielded a calculated t-value of 13.58, which exceeded the critical t-value of 1.729, indicating a statistically significant effect of ladder drill training on shooting skills. Furthermore, the percentage improvement in shooting performance was 60.34%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that ladder drill training is effective in enhancing the shooting skills of futsal players at SMK Negeri of Bengkulu City
