Abstract

Ibn Khaldun is a prominent Islamic intellectual figure. His thoughts on education refer to the development of science. His great thoughts about education are contained in his book “al- Muqodimmah”. Education, according to him, should instill piety, ethics, and a sense of social responsibility in learners, In this regard, Islamic education serves as a means to produce morally upright individuals who can positively impact their communities and discuss about Ibn Khaldun theory in modern world. The purpose of this study is to explain several theories of Islamic education according to Ibn Khaldun and explain the theory relevant to society’s needs. And the method used is a literature study with a historical approach. The conclusion, Ibn Khaldun's theory of Islamic education highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach that integrates religious, intellectual, and social dimensions. His theory emphasizes the cultivation of moral values, critical thinking, and the integration of Islamic teachings with other branches of knowledge. By following Ibn Khaldun's principles, Islamic education can serve as a transformative force, producing individuals capable morally upright and socially responsible to their societies at large.

Abstract

Language has many sides to life, starting from habits, customs, culture and history, so that languagestudies can provide a comprehensive understanding. As the content of the al-Qur'an is hidden in texts that canbe functioned optimally through interpretation so that it can be transformed contextually as a form ofdevelopment after understanding various textual meanings. Therefore, this research aims to find the textual andcontextual meaning of the term mu'âsyarah bil ma'ruf so that it can become an example for human life inbuilding relationships optimally. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using library datasources through a descriptive analysis process. The results of this research found that textually mu'asyarah bilma'ruf can be interpreted as proper interaction within the family which emphasizes the role played by mentowards women because women's rights are neglected. So that the meaning can be transformed contextually,that mu'asyarah bil ma'ruf is mutuality in proper interaction which emphasizes the role carried out by mentowards women and vice versa by women towards men in order to preserve life in social interactions that upholdjust human values.

Abstract

Understanding the Qur’an requires the ability to master Arabic, because this holy book was revealed in that language. Arabic has linguistic structures and uniqueness that influence the meaning of the Qur'an texts. This research aims to explore the urgency of learning Arabic in an effort to deepen understanding of the Qur'an. The research method used is literature review and content analysis from various primary and secondary sources related to the urgency of learning Arabic in understanding the Qur'an. The results of this research show that Arabic is not only a medium for conveying revelation, but also as a key to accessing the deep meanings contained in the Qur'an. Many words in the Qur'an have double meanings and special connotations that can only be understood with in-depth mastery of the Arabic language. In addition, the unique structure of the Arabic language has a big influence on understanding meaning and interpretation. Learning Arabic and the use of technology in learning Arabic makes an important contribution in increasing understanding of the texts of the Qur’an more accurately and in depth. Thus, mastery of Arabic is the main prerequisite for understanding the Qur’an correctly, and strengthening the application of its teachings in everyday life.
