Abstract

Breastmilk provides all the energy and nutrients that needed by infants during the first 6 months after birth. But the scope of exclusive breastfeeding in Nganjuk still quite low and known that nutritional status problems is still very high. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months in the Polindes Patranrejo Berbek Nganjuk. The design study is correlational with cross sectional approach. Samples are all mothers of infants aged 6-12 months in Polindes Patranrejo Berbek Nganjuk in 2014 were 34 mothers. The independent variable is exclusive breastfeeding, while the dependent variable is the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months. Data were collected through interviews and observation and then analyzed by Spearman Rank test at ? (0.05). The results showed that 19 mothers (55.9%) exclusively breastfed their babies, 24 infants (70.6%) infant nutrition status in the category of normal BB. Spearman Rank test results concluded that there is a relationship of exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months in the Polindes Patranrejo Berbek Nganjuk. Advised health workers to provide counseling and increase KP-ASI program, increasing malnutrition eradication program motion, giving KIE about breastfeeding, breastfeeding technique is correct, lactation management working mothers.Keywords :breastfeeding, exclusive, nutrient

Abstract

The exclusive breastfeeding prevalence in Kediri still low because most of the mothers are women workers. Meanwhile, state policy for breastfeeding during working hours in the workplace for working women is only a recomendation of the city major and 2008’s Decree of 3 ministries. The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation of breastfeeding during working hours in the workplace in Kediri.This research was a qualitative research, on 6 workplaces in Kediri. There were 6 leaders/managers as main informants and 25 breastfeeding working women as triangulation informants. Data were obtained through indepth interview, and focus group discussion. The data were analyzed with content analysis method.The results showed that implementation breastfeeding during working hours in the workplace in Kediri has not been implemented well. The workplaces have no lactation room and did not support breastfeeding during working hours at the workplace. There was only one workplace which started to build a lactation room. Communications was only done in one direction from the had to the subordinate. All workplaces have no funding for breastfeeding implementation during working hours at workplace.It is concluded that breastfeeding during working hours at workplace has not been implemented as the 2008’s decree of 3 Ministries. It is suggested for Kediri local government to develop regulation on breastfeeding during working hours in the workplace.Keywords: Implementation, breastfeeding, working hours, workplace, managers

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan peran orang tua dengan menyikat gigi dengan benar pada anak pra sekolah di TK Muslimat Parimono. Jenis penelitian analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Variabel independen adalah peran induk dan variabel dependen adalah menyikat gigi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan anak di TK Muslimat Kabupaten Parimono. Jombang yang berjumlah 155 orang dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 46 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua (76,1%) orang tua/wali memiliki peran positif 35 orang, menyikat gigi dengan benar dengan hampir setengah (41,3%) responden melakukan menyikat gigi yang benar terhadap 19 anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan peran orang tua dengan menyikat gigi dengan benar pada anak pra sekolah. Peran orang tua erat kaitannya dengan cara menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar pada anak, semakin aktif peran orang tua terhadap anaknya sehingga akan lebih baik juga cara menyikat gigi. Dalam hal ini orang tua tidak hanya menjalankan peran tetapi juga bertindak dalam arti memberikan upaya dalam mendidik anak cara menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar.
