Abstract

This research was conducted in PDAM Tomohon City which has the purpose of this study to: 1) knowing the effect of motivation on the performance of PDAM Tomohon City employees; 2) knowing the influence of work discipline on the performance of PDAM Tomohon City employees; 3) knowing the motivation and work discipline on the performance of PDAM Tomohon City employees. Where employees are required to have knowledge and skills must also have experience of motivation and discipline as well as performance, but basically PDAM Tomohon City employees ignore motivation and discipline as well as existing performance. This type of research is a type of associative and quantitative descriptive research. The sample used was 60 employees. Data collection techniques used in this study used questionnaire and library methods. To examine the influence of motivation and discipline on performance by using multiple linear regression test analysis techniques. The tools used in testing data instruments are validity and reliability tests; classic assumption test (normality test, multicellularity test, and heteroscedasticity test). The results of this study show that motivation variables and work discipline simultaneously influence the performance of PDAM Tomohon city employees, while partially motivation has a significant effect on performance, and discipline does not affect the employee performance of PDAM Tomohon City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Effect of Spiritual Intelligence and Ethical Behavior on Organizational Commitment at PT. Pegadaian Persero CP Karombasan - Manado. The population in this study were employees of PT. Pegadaian Persero CP Karombasan - Manado. The study sample used Genuine Sampling, the data sources were primary and secondary. The data analysis technique used is validity test, normality test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis, t test hypothesis and F test. The results of this study indicate that partially (t test) spiritual intelligence has a significant effect on organizational commitment with it is known that the value of t count is greater than t table. Ethical behavior does not significantly influence organizational commitment with the value of t calculated less than the value of t table. Based on the results of the F test it can be concluded that spiritual intelligence and ethical behavior have a significant effect on organizational commitment, this can be seen from the calculated F value greater than F table.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there are significant differences in performance based on gender equality in female employees and male employees in the marketing division of PT. Astra International, Tbk. - Daihatsu Sentra Manado. The population of this study is all employees of the marketing division of PT. Astra International, Tbk. - Daihatsu Sentra Manado, which consists of 51 employees, consisting of 36 male employees and 15 female employees. The sampling technique used is the census technique, which is to take from all existing populations to be sampled. Where there were 15 female employees and 15 male employees were taken to balance the sample of female employees. So the total sample in this study was 30 employees. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the average value for the performance of male and female employees is equally higher than the minimum value available. Although not large, the results of this study indicate that the average value of male employee performance is higher than that of overall female employees. From the results of the independent sample t-test statistical test, a significant value gives a result stating that H0 is accepted. The results of this study state that there is no significant difference in performance between male employees and female employees in the marketing department based on gender equality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in job satisfaction between permanent employees and contract employees. The benefits of this research so that it can become one of the information for all relevant parties and provide input for the company in an effort to improve employee job satisfaction. The research location was conducted at PT. Bank Mandiri Syariah Bank KCP Manado Pasar 45 where the company is one of the companies engaged in banking services. This research is comparative research and uses data collection methods in the form of job satisfaction scales. Based on the results obtained in this study, the significance value is 0.335 which indicates that 0.335 5 0.05 so that the hypothesis is accepted, there is a difference in the level of job satisfaction between permanent employees and contract employees. Then the test results of the difference in mean values of contract employees get a value of 114.70 which is greater than permanent employees who only get a mean value of r 106.10. Thus it can be said that the work satisfaction of contract employees is higher in employment in the company or contract employees are more satisfied at work

Abstract

The objective of this research was to Analyzing the variables of trust, commitment of communication and handling The complaint simultaneously and partially towards to customer retention of mobile products and most dominant variables of trust, commitment, communication and handling The complaint in influencing customer retention at PT Erafone Mega Mall. Where companies must be able to have strategies in attracting and retaining customers such as relationship marketing strategies that have 4 variables, namely : trust, commitment, communication and secure of complaints. When a company is able to carry out that strategy well, consumers will feel satisfied and comfortable with the sold products and services provided by the company to consumers and when it goes well, it is likely that consumers will buy again and can recommend products from the company. - This type of research is a type of descriptive research verification. The data collection technique in this study used questionnaire and literature. To examine the effect of customer retention on customer satisfaction by using multiple linear regression test analysis techniques. The tools used in the test instrument data are validity and reliability test, assumption test (normality test, multicellularity test and heteroscedasticity test). The results of this study indicate that the four independent variables have a significant and simultaneous effect on customer retention. While the most dominant influence on customer retention is customer trust in using PT ERAFONE Manado products.
