Abstract

The electoral system in Indonesia has not changed too much because it still uses proportional, starting from a closed proportional system (close list PR) to an open proportional system (open list PR). The phenomenon that occurs in elections with an open proportional system has been carried out since after the amendment to the 1945 Constitution with various regulations issued one after another. Both of these systems raise pros and cons in society. In order to prevent multiple interpretations, it is necessary to have an understanding of the development of a proportional system in legislative elections in Indonesia, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each of these systems, so that people can find out the reasons for choosing the electoral system in Indonesia. At present the debate regarding the 2024 general election system (Election) has re-emerged along with the judicial review of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections to the Constitutional Court (MK). Considering that the electoral system is an important aspect of holding elections, the 2024 election system that will be used later must be completed as soon as possible. The approach used in this research is normative juridical. Abstract

is a big phenomenon, the implementation of elections in developed and developing countries, elections are a means of people's sovereignty in choosing and also facilitating the change of power in a peaceful way, however the election process is carried out in various ways, from those carried out in an honest and fair way , until it is carried out in a way that is full of violations and fraud, in practice in the years of holding elections and elections which are commonly called political years, it is not uncommon for conflicts to occur between people which even result in hostilities in the community resulting from the emergence of cases of fake news (hoaxes). ) and hate speech. Law enforcement should be able to control the political situation and firmly give punishment to violators. Public trust in election results should be maintained by all parties who have an interest on the moral and ethical foundations that have long been instilled from generation to generation, so as to realize the implementation of independent, honest and fair elections as mandated by the election law. Abstract

Management and leadership are crucial for maintaining and improving the quality of education. They are responsible for resource management, curriculum design, the administration of the learning process, and the assessment of the performance of educational institutions within the framework of educational management. Conversely, educational leadership is accountable for inspiring employees, directing goals, and creating a school environment that supports learning. In this article, book research is utilized, signifying research that relies on existing references and literature. The article delves into the meaning of educational management and leadership and how they contribute to enhancing the quality of education. Various interrelated aspects, including the continuously changing context and processes, play a vital role in the issue of educational quality, particularly within the school environment. The importance of understanding and identifying stakeholders' expectations in managing educational institutions demands a well-functioning and accountable management system, as well as the implementation of management functions such as planning, organizing, directing, and controlling.

Abstract

As time goes by, the education system in Indonesia dynamically follows the times. This development can be seen from changes in the current learning curriculum. Education plays an important role in determining the future of a nation. The Indonesian education system that applies nationally functions to develop students' abilities. In this case, the education system acts as a means to improve students' intellectual, physical and emotional abilities so that they are able to contribute to nation building. National education is education based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which is rooted in religious values, Indonesian national culture and responsive to the demands of changing times. Indonesia has its own national education system which implements 12 years of compulsory education, namely nine years of basic education which includes six years in elementary school and three years each in middle school and high school
