Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Korean wave on the behavior of Indonesian University of Education students and to find out the Korean wave and fanaticism in an Islamic perspective. The research method used in this research is survey method and literature review. This research activity was carried out in two stages, first the author reviewed the existing and relevant literature to the research and then analyzed it, then the author collected survey data whose respondents were students of the Indonesian University of Education, this survey was carried out by distributing questionnaire links (Google Forms). The results showed that the Korean Wave had a significant influence on student behavior. On the one hand, there are positive impacts such as increasing interest in learning Korean culture, improving Korean language skills, and increasing motivation in learning foreign languages. However, negative impacts were also found, such as excessive fanaticism, neglect of local culture, and dependence on Korean content which disturbed the balance of daily life. Furthermore, this study explores an Islamic perspective related to the phenomenon of fanaticism that appears in the Korean WaveTherefore, this study also emphasizes the importance of awareness and understanding of Islamic teachings in dealing with the influence of the Korean Wave.

Abstract

Internship activities are essential for channeling students' knowledge acquired during their studies into the workforce, particularly in fields related to their chosen majors. This article aims to present the results of an internship at the SMP Negeri 40 Bandung library. The method used in this internship activity began with observing the library space, analyzing the problems and needs of the library, and designing a program that addressed those needs. The internship at the SMP Negeri 40 Bandung library provided valuable experiences and learning, offering positive insights for students regarding the role and existence of a school library. Several internship outcomes included organizing and preserving library materials, circulation services focused on book borrowing and returns, and implementing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the library, particularly through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog). However, the internship outcomes were not fully maximized due to several factors, including limited access and other constraints from the school.   Abstrak Kegiatan magang sangat diperlukan untuk menyalurkan pengetahuan mahasiswa selama perkuliahan dalam dunia kerja yang relevan dengan jurusan yang diambil. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil kegiatan magang yang telah dilaksanakan di perpustakaan SMP Negeri 40 Bandung. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan pada kegiatan magang ini yaitu diawali dengan mengamati ruang perpustakaan, menganalisis masalah dan kebutuhan perpustakaan serta merancang program yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Kegiatan magang yang telah terlaksana di perpustakaan SMP Negeri 40 Bandung ini telah memberikan banyak pengalaman dan pembelajaran yang bernilai positif bagi pandangan serta wawasan mahasiswa terhadap keberadaan suatu perpustakaan sekolah. Beberapa hasil yang telah dilaksanakan dari kegiatan magang ini yaitu program pengorganisasian bahan pustaka di perpustakaan, pelestarian bahan pustaka, layanan sirkulasi di perpustakaan yang berfokus pada peminjaman dan pengembalian buku, serta penerapan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di perpustakaan dengan mengoperasikan OPAC (Online Access Public Catalog). Namun, dari hasil magang tersebut tidak terlalu maksimal dikarenakan banyak faktor yang kurang bisa dipenuhi dari pihak sekolah karena keterbatasan akses dan lain sebagainya. Abstract

Library management in the regions continues to face numerous obstacles, particularly in this region. One problem often encountered is librarians with educational backgrounds other than library science. Through the Program Penguatan Profesional Kepustakaan Non Kependidikan (P3KNK), this article aims to provide an overview of library management activities, including processing and organizing library materials and services, implementing Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and promoting the Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung. This P3KNK is implemented through three stages: pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation. During the P3KNK activity, the intern performed library management tasks effectively, including processing and organizing library materials, providing library services, implementing ICT, and promoting the library. During implementation, several difficulties were successfully addressed, including the lack of public OPAC access and the library's SOP policies. Alternative solutions the intern can provide include providing information assistance to librarians through the intern's personal information channels and discussions with the library SOP librarian.   Abstrak Pengelolaan perpustakaan di daerah-daerah pada saat ini masih banyak menemukan kendala, terutama pada pengelolaan perpustakaan. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering ditemukan yaitu pustakawan dengan latar belakang pendidikan bukan ilmu perpustakaan. Melalui Program Penguatan Profesional Kepustakaan Non Kependidikan (P3KNK) artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran kegiatan pengelolaan perpustakaan yang mencakup pengolahan bahan pustaka, pengorganisasian dan pelestarian bahan pustaka, layanan, penerapan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), serta promosi Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung. P3KNK ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pasca pelaksanaan. Selama kegiatan P3KNK berlangsung, pratikan melaksanakan kegiatan manajemen perpustakaan dengan baik yang meliputi kegiatan pengolahan bahan pustaka, pengorganisasian dan pelestarian bahan pustaka, layanan perpustakaan, penerapan TIK, dan promosi perpustakaan. Dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat kesulitan dan permasalahan yang berhasil ditangani, seperti kurangnya akses OPAC ke publik dan kebijakan SOP di perpustakaan. Alternatif penyelesaian yang dapat praktikan berikan yaitu memberikan bantuan informasi kepada pemustaka lewat media informasi pribadi praktikan dan musyawarah dengan pustakawan SOP perpustakaan. Kata Kunci: Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung; manajemen perpustakaan; perpustakaan daerah
