Abstract

It is important to investigation the economics condition on farming.  It will influence the farmer income and their welfare. This research conducted to examine the economic efficiency on Lele fish growing in Pagelaran District.  The research did by Survey method toward 30 farmer respondent purposively.  Technical efficiency analyzed by Cobb-Douglass production function, while the economic efficiency analyzed by the ratio of marginal production with their price input.  Based on the calculation, it was found out that the ratio of the marginal production toward their price input were unequal 1. There no value represent equal by 1. It means that the Lele fish growing production is on inefficient yet. Achieving the economic efficiency has to support by combining the production factors. So, the farmer’s could increase the production by fixing the combination of input production for getting optimum production and maximum advantage.  Linear programming is such as the appropriate method to solve the input combination for the next focus.  Key words: economic, efficiency, Lele fish growing, marginal production

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan membaca cerita pendek terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa inggris siswa pada siswa kelas dua SMK Kesehatan Hamzar Bayan pada tahun akademik 2019/2020. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 30 siswa dari 115 siswa populasi. Untuk tujuan ini, ada dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diperlakukan berbeda. Di mana kelompok eksperimen diperlakukan dengan menggunakan membaca cerita pendek dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan membaca artikel berita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan cerpen lebih efektif daripada penggunaan artikel berita. Ini dibuktikan dengan angka kelompok rata-rata, standar deviasi dan nilai uji-t terlihat bahwa skor rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada skor rata-rata kelompok kontrol (14,19 untuk eksperimen dan 6,3 untuk kelompok kontrol). Berdasarkan analisis statistik menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa t-tabel 3,57> 2,00 t-tabel pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,05% (95%) dan 3,57> 2,66 t-tabel pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,01% (90%). Akhirnya, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan cerpen efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa di siswa kelas dua SMK Kesehatan Hamzar Bayan pada tahun akademik 2019/2020.

Abstract

Data management in maritime administrative services plays an important role in supporting the quality of public services in the maritime transportation sector. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of data management in the service of seaman’s registration books and seaman books at the Class I Harbormaster and Port Authority Office of Samarinda. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews with service officers. The results showed that the implementation of a digital system through the E-Seaman Book application was able to improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of services compared to the manual system. The service process is carried out through several stages, including data submission, validation, verification, printing, and archiving in a structured manner. However, the effectiveness of data management still faces several obstacles, such as network disruptions, server errors, limited infrastructure, and data input errors by both officers and applicants. To overcome these challenges, the office conducts data rechecking, improves human resource competencies, and develops the integration of digital-based service systems. In addition, service evaluations are carried out regularly to maintain the quality of services provided to users. Therefore, organized and technology-based data management has a positive influence on the quality of seafarer administrative services, making the services faster, more transparent, and more accurate.
