Abstract

The aim of the study is to provide an overview of the installation of a torch tower fuel gas distribution pipe offshore non using crane. The problem faced in the implementation of the installation is the difficulty of installing the fuel gas distribution pipe because there is no conventional crane lifting equipment that can be used at a height of 175 meters, weighing 115 tons and in very limited work locations. The solution to overcome the problem is to divide the gas distribution pipe into several trunks and install it on the derick structure by lifting the pulley system (non crane). The results showed that the lifting method using a pulley was proven to be suitable and safe to use for installing a gas pipeline for torch towers offshore. The results of this study also recommend that work methods can be replicated by other work units that experience similar problems.

Abstract

The quality of a product produced is a top priority for the company. The need for the use of chemicals for product quality in the company must also be taken into account so that it can be used efficiently, therefore in planning raw material requirements, a forecasting analysis of the needs of these secondary raw materials can be carried out. Based on the planning of the need for the use of these chemicals, the author conducted a study discussing the Forecasting of Aluminum Sulfate Al2(SO4)3 Needs in the company to improve production quality using the single moving average method. The study used qualitative and quantitative research methods, the study was aimed at seeing the application of the use of forecasting methods in companies and as a reference for learning the application of these methods for students. The author uses historical data on the use of Alum or Aluminum Sulfate in 2022 to May 2023 at one of the water treatment installations as a water purifier, with a movement value of n = 5,6,7,8,9. The results of the forecasting calculation obtained the lowest error rate in MSE and MAPE, namely at movement 5.

Abstract

Job Safety Analysis (JSA) untuk pekerjaan Wet Blasting & Painting merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya yang mungkin terjadi pada pekerjaan tersebut, serta langkah-langkah pengendalian untuk meminimalkan risiko. dengan teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya yaitu observasi atau pengamatan yang dilakukan secara langsung terhadap suatu objek atau kegiatan yang terjadi di lapangan. Observasi yang dilakukan adalah mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya langsung dengan objek penelitian di area Dehydrator Vessel V-1007 S PT. XYZ. Pada pekerjaan wet blasting didapatkan 8 potensi bahaya yaitu Human Performance, Gravity, Motion, Sound, Chemical, Temperature, Pressure, dan Biology. Sedangkan potensi bahaya pada pekerjaan painting yaitu Human Performance, Chemical, Sound, Gravity, Temperature, Pressure, dan Biology. Dengan melakukan Job Safety Analysis ini, risiko kecelakaan dapat diminimalkan, dan pekerjaan wet blasting & painting dapat dilakukan dengan aman dan efisien.
