Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jarimatika method on the ability to calculate multiplication of grade 3 students at SDN 3 Wringinputih Muncar in the 2021/2022 academic year. The background of this research is where in the learning process mathematics teachers still use the lecture method and in multiplication material the teacher only uses memorization techniques, and not all students have a strong memory to master multiplication memorization. So that students have difficulty in working on math problems, especially in multiplication. Jarimatika is one of the counting methods in the operation of Ka Ba Ta Ku (multiply-plus-subtract) using the fingers. The type of research used is quantitative with an experimental method in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all third grade students of SD Negeri 03 Wringinputih Muncar with a total of 29 students. Sampling in this study used a non-probability sampling technique of saturated sampling, so that the sample obtained was class III with a total of 14 students. Data collection techniques in this study used several methods, namely the method of observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test and paired sample t-test. The results obtained based on the results of the analysis of the paired samples t-test obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 with a significant level of = 0.05 which means 0.000 <0.05 then Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, it is known that the data df = 28, significant level = 0.05, tcount = -9.011 and ttable = 2.048 so that it can be stated that the tcount value is greater than ttable means -9.011 > 2,048, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning the use of the Jarimatika method on the ability to calculate multiplication in Mathematics in class III. With the difference between the average value (mean) of the posttest and the average value (mean) of the pretest is 40.00 (posttest = 70.34 and pretest = 30.34), which means the average value of the posttest is higher than the value of the pretest. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Jarimatika method has a significant effect on the results of the ability to calculate the multiplication of class III SD Negeri 03 Wringinputih Muncar in the 2021/2022 school year.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang inovatif, praktis, dan efektif pada ektrakurikuler pramuka dengan materi pramuka tingkat penggalang yang berupa modul pramuka penggalang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga sekolah yang berbeda, yakni SDI Kebunrejo Genteng, MI Annidhom Genteng, dan MI Hidayatul Ulum Wringinrejo Gambiran guna menguji keefektifan produk yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang memiliki 10 langkah pengembangan, yaitu: 1) Potensi masalah, 2) Pengumpulan data, 3) Desain produk, 4) Validasi desain, 5) Revisi desain, 6) Uji coba produk, 7) Revisi produk, 8) Uji coba pemakaian, 9) Revisi produk, 10) Produksi massal. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunkana analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul pramuka penggalang dinyatakan efektif dan layak digunakan berdasarkan pada uji kelayakan menurut ahli materi dengan persentase sebesar 96%, ahli media sebesar 96%, dan ahli pembelajaran sebesar 97,33%. Selain itu, dinyatakan layak berdasarkan pada hasil uji coba skala terbatas mendapat persentase sebesar 96,67% dan uji coba skala luas sebesar 97,48%. Sehingga proses kegiatan pramuka menggunakan modul pramuka penggalang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi pramuka tingkat penggalang termasuk dalam kategori efektif dan layak digunakan. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Modul, Pramuka Penggalang. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to develop innovative, practical, and effective teaching materials on scout extracurriculars with fundraiser-level scout materials in the form of scouting modules. This research was conducted in three different schools, namely SDI Kebunrejo Genteng, MI Annidhom Genteng, and MI Hidayatul Ulum Wringinrejo Gambiran to test the effectiveness of the products developed. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development / R&D) using the Borg and Gall development model which has 10 development steps, namely: 1) Research and collection preliminary, 2) Research planning, 3) Early product development, 4) Expert validation, 5) Product revision, 6) Early test, 7) Product revision, 8) Field test, 9) Final product revision, 10) Desimination. The data collection process uses several methods, namely observation methods, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that the scouting module was declared effective and feasible to use based on due diligence according to material experts with a percentage of 96%, media experts with 96%, and learning experts with 97.33%. In addition, it was declared feasible based on the results of limited-scale trials got a percentage of 96.67% and a broad-scale trial of 97.48%. So that the process of scouting activities using the scouting module is able to increase understanding of the fundraiser-level scout material included in the category of effective and worthy of use. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV MI Islamiyah kedaleman Rogojampi students. This type of research is Pre-Experimental Design with a one group pretest posttest design model. The study sample was selected using cluster sampling (area sampling). The sample taken was 28 students. The data collection process uses three ways, namely observation, tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential analysis (prerequisite test and t-test). The results showed that students' scores before using the Realistic Mathematic Education learning model were relatively low, in contrast to after using the Realistic Mathematic Education learning model, students' scores were relatively high. Realistic Mathematic Education learning models affect student learning outcomes. This is evidenced from the results of the t-test analysis in class IV and obtained the probability of a sig(2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there was a difference in the average score in the final measurement of the pretest value, which was 59.07 increased to 74.71 (posttest average). Hypothesis testing obtained a sig value (2-tailed) is 0.000 then a sig value of < 0.05 is obtained, namely 0.000 < 0.05, and a t_hitung value of -8.295 is obtained so that the > value is -8.295 > 2.052 thus accepted and rejected. So that the results of the study can be concluded that the use of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model affects the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV MI Islamiyah Kedaleman Rogojampi students.

Abstract

Pancasila is the philosophy of the Indonesian nation. Indonesian students should have character as the values contained in Pancasila. The values of Pancasila can be instilled through various strategies both directly in the learning process in the classroom, as well as the creation of a positive culture in schools. A positive culture in schools can be a productive medium for instilling Pancasila values for students. This study aims to describe the creation of a positive culture at SD Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the study were teachers and students at SD Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi. This study involved 7 teachers, consisting of 3 teachers from low grades and 4 teachers from high grades. The students involved in this study were 30 students divided into 10 students from low grades and 20 students from high grades. Data collection techniques are conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the creation of a positive culture The positive culture developed by the school consists of religious habituation, structuring the learning environment, and project compassionated action. The school believes that the cultivation of Pancasila values is effective when carried out in habituation of daily life at school. Therefore, schools need to build a positive culture that guides children and teachers in interacting with all school residents.
