Abstract

Computer Graphics is one of the fundamental courses in the field of visual communication design. This course studies the technicalities of organizing visual communication media with the help of a computer. This research was conducted to review research related to computer graphics education during 2011-2021. The contribution of this research is as a basis for a different intellectual framework by identifying the productivity of publications and topics. For this reason, bibliometric techniques were used to analyze 645 documents published from 2011-2021 based on the Scopus database. The results of the Scopus data analysis revealed that from 2011 to 2021 the number of publications related to computer graphic education experienced a dynamic development trend.

Abstract

Kota Malang merupakan destinasi wisata favorit di Jawa Timur. Dengan adanya potensi-potensi wisata yang makin berkembang dari tahun ke tahun, maka diperlukannya pula media penyebaran informasi yang mengikuti perkembangan teknologi terkini. Saat ini masyarakat yang hendak atau sedang berwisata di suatu kota tertentu dapat dengan mudah menemukan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Mulai dari blog, website, media sosial, hingga aplikasi. Aplikasi mobile memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengakses internet setiap waktu dan setiap tempat. Semakin hari pengguna menilai sebuah layanan atau aplikasi tidak hanya dari fiturnya saja, tapi juga pengalaman yang didapatkan saat menggunakan aplikasi. Tidak hanya seberapa banyak fungsi yang ada dalam satu aplikasi, tapi bagaimana aplikasi tersebut mengemas berbagai fungsi tersebut sehingga dapat dinikmati secara keseluruhan. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, penulis mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan kemudian melakukan analisis, sehingga menghasilkan rangkuman analisis user experience yang dapat dijadikan referensi untuk pengembangan aplikasi Wisata Kota Malang yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Each tourist village has its own set of attractions; that being said, Bendosari-Pujon Tourism Village offers its own beautiful. This village in Malang Regency provides dairy farming, milk processing, and plantation excursions. Additionally, one of the village famous sites, Grojokan Sewu Waterfall is really popular. Bendosari-Pujon Tourism Village is unique in that it converts cow dung into biogas. However, the wide terrain of Bendosari Village makes tourist sites difficult to reach without a car. This issue significantly lowers visitors' awareness of Bendosari Village's tourist attractions. Rapid technological growth has benefited humanity in numerous ways. Almost every productive-aged person utilizes a smartphone on a regular basis. This could help share information. Based on this rationale, the researchers employed descriptive, qualitative methodologies to find the best option. During data collection, researchers were able to restrict Bendosari Village's advertising needs and expand its tourism attractions thanks to technological advances. The research seek to identify the most effective digital channel for promoting key tourist destinations.

Abstract

Sekarpuro Elementary School faces the challenge of a lack of varied and engaging learning media, as well as the suboptimal utilization of literacy facilities such as the library and school bulletin board. Through a visual communication design approach and the active participation of teachers and students, the implementation team will design and implement various interactive media, such as illustrated local storybooks, educational game cards, and interactive thematic bulletin boards. These media are expected to increase students' interest in learning, material absorption, and foster a love of local culture. This community service activity aims to develop interactive educational media with local Indonesian content to support students' learning process. Through collaboration between the academic world and elementary schools, this program is expected to make a real contribution to strengthening literacy and learning innovation in the elementary education environment.

Abstract

Bendosari Tourism Village, Malang Regency is one of the strategic alternative tourist destinations because Bendosari borders directly with Batu City, Blitar Regency and Kediri Regency. Bendosari Tourism Village has diverse potentials, including natural tourism, village products such as agriculture, plantations, and technological innovations such as biogas. In addition, what makes this village interesting is that it still maintains customs, local wisdom and community culture. To maximize this potential, a strong and representative visual identity is needed. The purpose of this design is to produce a visual identity that can represent the image of Bendosari Tourism Village which can be implemented in various media according to the needs to create the identity of Bendosari tourism village. The method used in this study is a qualitative method consisting of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of this design are an attractive and easily recognizable Bendosari Tourism Village logo that reflects the diversity of village potential and its application design in various promotional media and merchandise, such as brochures, banners, social media promotions, t-shirts, hats, and others. The implementation of this visual identity aims to increase the visibility of Bendosari Tourism Village, attract visitors, and promote local products and innovations. This research is expected that visual identity can support destination branding strategy and contribute to tourism development and village community empowerment. With the design of visual identity and promotional media for Bendosari Tourism Village, it can help improve image, expand market segmentation and provide its own characteristics for Bendosari Tourism Village so that it can compete in the world of tourism.
