Abstract

Low Birth Weight is health problems that need to be addressed seriously because is an indicator to determine health level of the nation. South East Asia has 20-35 % of infants born with Low Birth Weight and 70-80% neonates were death because of premature infants and Low Birth Weight. In Bojonegoro district since 3 years ago, has fluctuated cases of Low Birth Weight. The purpose of this research to know the impact of nutritional status of mothers, gestational age, disorder/comorbidities of disorder, exposure to cigarette smoke, parity and regularity examination pregnancy relating Low Birth Weight in Bojonegoro district. The methodology of this research is analytic correlational by approach cross sectional. The population research is all women rise in November 2019- January 2020 in public health center area Balen, Ngasem, Kedungadem Bojonegoro district. The technique of this research used proportional random sampling by using 133 samples. Analysis techniques data using regression double logistics. The result showed that a variable that influence the incidence Low Birth Weight is the nutritional status (p=0,000), disorder/ comorbidities of comorbidities (p=0,013) and parity (p=0,008). While variables that not affected to Low Birth Weight is gestational age, exposure to cigarette smoke and regularity examination pregnancy. Six variables with negelkerke has value R= 0,658 capable of being explained Low Birth Weight factors influencing the cases.

Abstract

Background: The disruption of the visual function resulting from the use of gadgets, by explaining the disturbance of the visual function that occurs and the proper and correct use of gadgets, which can maintain vision function, especially for children and adolescents Method: SLiterature sources were searched using data bases: Google Scholar, Pubmed, Proquest, Science Direct, and Sinta using keywords: computer, gadget, portable display, smartphone and eye, myopia, vision, visual. With boolen operators (AND, OR, NOT). The articles obtained were published between January 2015 and October 2020 for selection according to the objectives of the literature review and obtained as many as fifteen studies included in this literature review. Result: Prolonged use of gadgets and the like was significantly associated with decreased visual acuity and the onset of myopia (8 studies), as well the occurrence of one or more Computer Vison Syndrome in the eye organs (7 studies). Conclusion: The use of gadgets is not the only main cause of health problems, but contributes significantly to various health problems, especially impaired vision, namely decreased visual acuity, myopia, and computer vision syndrome. Proper management of gadget usage can prove beneficial in understanding education and other fields better whereas excessive use can lead to various health problems.

Abstract

Transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from mother to baby is now increasing with the increase in women infected with HIV. This study aims to analyze the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women towards motivation to conduct PMTCT VCT test in Bojonegoro Regency. This research was carried out in five puskesmas in Bojonegoro, namely Ngambon, Sugihwaras, Kesongo, Malo and Kepohbaru Puskesmas. The study design was cross sectional study. The sampling technique used porpotional sampling and a sample of 110 respondents, where data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Statistical tests used logistic regression tests at the significance level of p <0.05 and a 95% Confidence Interval (IK). The results showed that nearly half of the respondents 47,3% had good knowledge about HIV / AIDS and the PMTCT VCT test tended to have strong motivation at 62%. Statistically variable knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women have a significant relationship when a logistic regression analysis was performed with sig values. 0,000 which means the value is < 0.05. So that the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about HIV / AIDS, HIV VCT and PMTCT are considered influential on motivation to carry out VCT PMTCT tests.

Abstract

The MCH Handbook is a tool for early detection of maternal and child health problems, guiding officers to document properly and correctly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of knowledge, workload, availability of tools and facilities, monitoring and evaluation of the Coordinating Midwife on completeness of MCH book documentation for mothers. Third trimester of pregnancy in West Kotawaringin. Method: Quantitative Cross Sectional, the population of midwives in 18 health centers and their networks, a sample size of 102 respondents with the Cluster Random sampling technique and the logistic regression statistical test used the backward stepwise (wald) test with significance ≤ (α 0.05) Result: The influence of knowledge significance (0.301) workload (sig 0.647) availability of tools and facilities (sig 0.025), monitoring and evaluation by coordinating midwives (sig 0.035) simultaneously affect the completeness of MCH book documents for pregnant women in the third trimester, the Nagelkerke R Square coefficient is obtained (62.6%,) The MCH book document is influenced by the midwife's knowledge of the MCH handbook, the availability of tools and facilities and monitoring and evaluation by the Coordinating Midwife. The dominant factor that has the most influence is monitoring and evaluation by the coordinating midwife (Exp. B: 6,969).
