Abstract

The experiment on the effect of foliar fertilizer (29% N, 10% P2O5, 10% K2O, 3% MgO, 5% SO3, and micro compound B, 0,0075% Cu, 0,026% Fe, 0,032% Mn and 0,023% Zn) concentration on growing tea (Camellia sinensis) and productivity was conducted in Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona Experimental Plantation on the altitude of 1.350 m above sea level and Andisol type soilfrom August to November 2013 with GMB 7 clones. The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with 3 treatments and 4 replicates. Concentration levels of fertilizer were 1) 0% as control, 2) 2%, and 3) 4%. The results showed that productivity increased significantly, control (465,25 g/10 plantation) compared with the plants were treated with 2% (564,58 g/10 plantation) and 4% (573,46 g/10 plantation) fertilizer, respectively. The increase of productivity was due to increased of plucking point, quantity and weight of pecco and length of leaves.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to obtain the effect of insecticide combination with nitrogen and zinc foliar fertilizers to Empoasca flave-scens. An experiment was conducted at Gam-bung Experimental Garden, Bandung, West Java. The trial was arranged in a randomized complete block design with nine treatments (A)methomyl; (B) methomyl + ZnSO4 1%; (C) me-thomyl + ZnSO4 2%; (D) methomyl + N 1%; (E) methomyl + N 1% + ZnSO4 1%; (F) metho-myl + N 1% + ZnSO4 2%; (G) methomyl + N 2%; (H) methomyl + N 2% + ZnSO4 1%; and (I) methomyl + N 2% + ZnSO4 2%, replicated three times. Each unit consisted of experiments is 40 plants. The treatments comprised: concen-tration of methomyl 0,5 gram/l with sprayed volume 200 l/ha. The level concentrations of nitrogen and zinc were 1% and 2%. The appli-cation of treatments was sprayed six times after plucking with 12 days interval, respectively. The population and intensity of E. flavescens attack were measured at the time of plucking. The effectiveness of treatment on the population as well as attack intensity of Empoasca con-ducted by measuring the rate of decline through a linear regression approach. The results showed that all of the treatments could reduce the population as well as the attack intensity of E. flavescens but there were no significantly different among others and were comparable to the chemical insecticide treatment. The fastest rate of decline were indicated by the treatment methomyl + N 2% + ZnSO4 1% and methomyl + N 2% + ZnSO4 2%.

Abstract

Effect of prunning technique and foliar fertilizer application had been conducted to improve yield of pecco in the Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona experiment station, Gambung, Indonesia with altitude of 1.350 m above sea level, and with andysol soil type. The experiment was held from July to October 2015 in tea production field area containing 480 plants. The clone was GMB 7and was in the fourth prunning year, interval of plucking pecco was seven days. The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with four treatments, replicated six times. Foliar fertilizer application was performed following every plucking. The results indicated that breaking apical dominance of tea short by 5 cm–10 cm of prunning above plucking table combined with foliar fertilizer application of N 1% and ZnSo4 2% + 0,1% of humic acid, could increase weight of pecco per plot in the first nine weeks of the prunning. This treatment was better than the other three. But the percentage of pecco shoots was low, lower than 50%, the weight of one pecco was also very low 0,7 g, indicating that the treatment of harvesting pecco in the fourth prunning year was not recomended to be practiced in improving yield of pecco.

Abstract

The experiment of effect of Foliar Fertilizer (N& ZnSo4) and pesticide compatibility with Methomyl 25% compound to increasing Tea Productivity (Camellia sinensis) has been conducted in Research Institute for Tea and Chincona experimental plantation1350 m above sea level and andysol type soil. The experiment started from November 2013 – Februari 2014  in produced tea area with 1.080 plant population. Material plantswere GMB 4 clones with second pruning year and 12 days plucking interval. The experiment was arranged on randomized block design with 9 treatments and 3 replicate. Foliar fertilizer and pesticide combination which has been examined  were  (1) Methomyl 25% (control), (2) Methomyl 25% + Zn 1%, (3) Methomyl 25% + Zn 2%, (4) Methomyl 25% + N 1%, (5) Methomyl 25% + N 2%, (6) Methomyl 25% + N 1% + Zn 1%, (7) Methomyl 25% + N 1% + Zn 2%, (8) Methomyl25% + N 2% + Zn 1%and (9) Methomyl25% + N 2% + Zn 2. Spraying application done every after plucking. The results  showed that skiffing treatment can control the tea plantation that infested by pest and stimulate the new bud growth. The results  also showed that productivity increased significantly up to37, 48 % (2.781 gr/40 plants) when the plants were treated with Methomyl + N 1% + Zn 2%.But,the increased production is accompanied by an increase of banjhi because plant still using their nutrition to recovering after pest infested. The weight of pecco which grown from the  lateral buds is relatively small because of skiffing. Bud growth rate after given treatment was obtained only 3-4 cm/ 6 days caused by lack of light intensity at the time of reserached

Abstract

Hasil pengujian sistem memperoleh nilai akurasi terbaik sebesar 97.5% dengan menggunakan arsitektur VGGNET19, Optimizer RMSprop, learning rate 0.01, batch size 32 dan epoch 100.Kata kunci: teh, klasifikasi, Convolutional Neural Network, VGGNET19, ResNet50 ABSTRACTIndonesia is one of the major tea exporting countries in the world. The large area of tea plantations causes each tea leaves planting block to have a different picking time and maturity level. So that one of the efforts to determine the maturity level of tea leaves is to apply an automation system using digital image processing. In this study, a classification system for the maturity level of tea leaves design from the Assamica Klon (GMB 7) variety sample located at the Gambung Tea and Quinine Research Center. This study applies a digital image processing method with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm using VGGNET19 and ResNet50 Architecture. The results of the system test obtained the best accuracy value of 97.5% using the VGGNET19 architecture, RMSprop Optimizer, learning rate 0.01, batch size 32 and epoch 100.Keywords: tea, classification, Convolutional Neural Network, VGGNET19, ResNet50
