Abstract

The objective of this study is to observe the socio-economic conditions of rice farmers in Taratara Tiga Village, Tomohon Barat Sub District, Tomohon City. This research uses a descriptive method. The total population of 264 KK rice farmers, taken 10% (26KK). Data collection is done by interview technique. The data obtained from the results of the study were processed by using Qualitative analysis, and Quantitative analysis to determine the socio-economic condition of rice farmers in Taratara Tiga Village, Tomohon Barat Sub District, Tomohon City.       The research result showed that: (1) The average farmer is classified as being unproductive, (2) The average farmer education level is low, (3) The average condition of the farmer house is good, (4) Farmer has a relatively low income with an average income of  Rp. 1.000.000 – 2.000.000 in one harvest, (5) On average farmers have dependents of 3-5 people in one family, (6) Farmer have an average area of lowland rice in Taratara Tiga Village in the amount of  0,5-1 hectares, (7) On average farmers have lowland rice alone.Keywords: Socio-Economic Conditions, Rice Farmers

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of farmers and the contribution of  rice farming to the income of farmer families in Amongena II Village, Langowan Timur District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 3 (three) months, starting from May to July 2019. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The results showed that the rice farming could provide a significant contribution to the family income in Amongena II Village with a percentage of 53% per planting season.Keywords: Income, Contributions, Rice Farming

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of Rurukan Agropolitan Area and designing development strategies of Rurukan Agropolitan Area.  The datas used in this study are primary datas obtained from FGD with 13 respondents consists of parties that related with this study using questionnaire, and secondary datas obtained from  agencies, literatures, and previous researches that are related to  this study. The results showed that, Rurukan Agropolitan Area had adequate natural resources, facilities and huge potentials to develop as Agropolitan Area. The result of SWOT analysis diagram showed that Development of Rurukan Agropolitan Area is in the first quadrant, means is in favourable position, strengths and opportunities for further development.      Keywords:  Regional development, Agropolitan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income from the "Cap Tikus" business in Ranolambot Village, West Kawangkoan District, Minahasa. The sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling method. The number of respondents chosen was 20 people who were taken from the 5 existing local community group. The data analysis method used was income analysis.The results showed that the total revenue by all respondents in one month with 12 production of "Cap Tikus" was IDR 84,000,000.- or an average of IDR 4,200,000 per respondent. Meanwhile, the total production cost for all respondents was IDR 34,324,999.99 or an average of IDR 1,716,249.99 per respondent. Therefore, the total income for one month for all respondents was IDR 49,675,000.01 or an average of IDR 2,483,750 per respondent per month.Keywords: income, "Cap Tikus"

Abstract

This study aims to describe the socio-economic characteristics of coastal communities in Kema District, North Minahasa Regency. The data collected in this study were primary  and secondary data. Sampling was done by purposive sampling as many as 50 samples. The majority of the coastal community were fishermen. Most of them only have elementary and junior high school education (78%). The condition of clean water and the environment was good. The community's economy was quite good with the status of owning a house as much as 64% and the average monthly incomes was above Rp. 3,000,000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of leek farming to family income in Palelon Village, Modoinding District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from December 2019 to February 2020. The data used came from primary data and secondary data and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the amount of income received by leek farmers in Palelon Village, Modoinding District was IDR 3,308,561 per farmer and IDR 4,726,516 per hectare. Contribution to family income was 86.48%. Based on these results, it could be concluded that the contribution of leek farming to family income was very high.
