Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the effect of food commodity inflation on Manado city inflation and what food commodities have a significant effect on inflation in Manado City. This research was carried out in April 2022 to May 2022. Data collection was obtained through secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. sampling using secondary data sources time series (time series). Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results showed that inflation in Manado City was influenced by inflation of food commodities, namely inflation in the spices group. Inflation in the grains group, inflation in the vegetables group, and inflation in the fruits group did not affect the inflation in Manado City.

Abstract

Minahasa Regency is one of the regencies in North Sulawesi Province which relies on the agricultural sector as a support for the existing community's economy. Minahasa Regency has considerable potential in the agricultural sector because it is supported by relatively good land and climate conditions, but the poverty rate in Minahasa Regency is still relatively high. The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between GRDP in the agricultural sector and the number of poor people in Minahasa Regency. The time of this research was carried out from January to March 2021. The data variables used in this study were the GRDP of the Agricultural Sector and the Number of Poor Population in Minahasa Regency which were secondary data for the period 2008 to 2019 from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi. The data analysis method used is correlation analysis. The research results showed that there was a negative relationship between the GRDP of the agricultural sector and the number of poor people, namely the correlation value of -0.116, which means that when there is an increase in GRDP in the agricultural sector, the number of poor people will decrease.

Abstract

Tho objective of this research is to analyze the amount of income from lowland rice farming in Kole Sawangan Village, Malimbong Balepe Sub District, Tana Toraja Regency. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained directly from interviews and through questionnaires distributed to respondent farmers and secondary data is data obtained from other sources that serve as supporting data, such as from books or research results. that has been done and data from the Department of Agriculture and related agencies in Tana Toraja Regency. The number of samples in this study amounted to 27 people with data collection techniques using Simple Random Sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is descriptive data analysis. The results of this research indicated that the average income of rice farmers in one growing season in Kole Sawangan Village, Malimbong Balepe SubDistrict, Tana Toraja Regency is Rp.2,362,592/0.25 Ha and the average income per hectare is Rp.9,312,408.

Abstract

East Bolaang Mongondow is one of the areas that has begun to develop the tourism sector apart from agriculture, animal husbandry, services, mining and others. The tourism sector which was developed about three years ago before the outbreak of Covid 19, especially in Jiko Induk Village was the Abadi Beach, Tanjung Silar Beach and Cimoki Beach tourism. This has had the impact of decreasing tourist visits to Jiko Induk Village, which has resulted in decreased income for the people of Jiko Induk Village who work in the tourism sector. aims to describe changes in the condition of people's income in Jiko Induk Village both for people who work as farmers and fishermen as well as service sellers at tourist destinations Cimoki Beach, Abadi Beach and Tanjung Silar, namely by category before becoming a tourist destination, when it became a tourist destination and during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The research result showed that the category of changes in livelihood during the Covid 19 Pandemic illustrates that 13 respondents who have the profession of part-time workers, namely as fishermen and sellers of boat motorcycle taxi services, with a percentage of 43.33%, and people who have jobs as car driver renters, builders, yellow rice sellers and BRI Link Agents each had 1 respondent with a percentage of 3.33%. Thus the category of changes in the livelihoods of the Jiko Induk Village community experienced a significant change in livelihood when it became a tourist destination by opening new jobs for the Jiko Induk Village community.
