Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the outpouring of farmers' labor in lowland rice farming. The research was conducted in South Tumani Village, Maesaan Sub District, South Minahasa Regency. Data was collected using a survey method using primary and secondary data. The number of samples of paddy rice farmers was determined to be 20 people. Sampling using purposive sampling method, the sample is taken intentionally. Data analysis was done descriptively. The types of lowland rice farming activities under study include soil processing, seeding, planting, weeding, fertilizing, eradicating pests and diseases, harvesting, transporting and drying or drying. The research results showed that the average outpouring of farmer labor on 1 hectare rice farming is 103.42 HKSP/Ha, consisting of 89.47 HKSP/Ha and 13.95 HKSP/Ha. The largest workforce occurred in planting activities, namely 33.94 HKSP/Ha or 32.82%, followed by harvesting activities of 32.09 HKSP/Ha or 31.03% and land processing activities of 31.66 HKSP/Ha or 30, 61%.

Abstract

East Bolaang Mongondow is one of the areas that has begun to develop the tourism sector apart from agriculture, animal husbandry, services, mining and others. The tourism sector which was developed about three years ago before the outbreak of Covid 19, especially in Jiko Induk Village was the Abadi Beach, Tanjung Silar Beach and Cimoki Beach tourism. This has had the impact of decreasing tourist visits to Jiko Induk Village, which has resulted in decreased income for the people of Jiko Induk Village who work in the tourism sector. aims to describe changes in the condition of people's income in Jiko Induk Village both for people who work as farmers and fishermen as well as service sellers at tourist destinations Cimoki Beach, Abadi Beach and Tanjung Silar, namely by category before becoming a tourist destination, when it became a tourist destination and during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The research result showed that the category of changes in livelihood during the Covid 19 Pandemic illustrates that 13 respondents who have the profession of part-time workers, namely as fishermen and sellers of boat motorcycle taxi services, with a percentage of 43.33%, and people who have jobs as car driver renters, builders, yellow rice sellers and BRI Link Agents each had 1 respondent with a percentage of 3.33%. Thus the category of changes in the livelihoods of the Jiko Induk Village community experienced a significant change in livelihood when it became a tourist destination by opening new jobs for the Jiko Induk Village community.

Abstract

Chrysanthemum flower is a type of ornamental flower plant cultivated in Indonesia which has good prospects for development and becomes a source of income that generates added value due to the inclusion of primary product processing elements into new products. The objective of this research is to analyze the benefits and added value of chrysanthemum flowers at the Berkat Anugerah Florist in Kakaskasen I Village, North Tomohon Sub District, Tomohon City. The benefit of this research is that it can provide a source of information about the added value and benefits of chrysanthemum. Methods of data collection, namely primary and secondary data as well as the variables measured in this study for a series of hanging round cranes, standard standing cranes, large standing cranes and table flowers. The results of the data obtained will then be processed and analyzed in more depth using added value analysis according to the hayami method. The research result showed that has been done showed that flower arrangements at the Florist which provide added value as follows for large standing bouquets have the greatest added value with an added value of Rp. 32,907.08, two hanging round cranes with an added value of Rp. 14,017.21, the three table flowers with an added value of Rp. 7,602.22 and finally a standard standing crane with an added value of Rp. 7,377.78. Meanwhile, the biggest profit for business owners is a large standing crane with a profit of Rp. 32407.08. Then the hanging crane with a profit of Rp. 13017.21. Standard standing faucet with a profit of Rp. 6,477.77. Table interest with the smallest profit of Rp. 6.102,22.
