Abstract

Wireless computer network allows connecting computers without using cables but using radio waves. Today’s computer networks generally still use cables, with the difference in media, namely air and cable, it takes a tool to combine the two networks with different media. In a wireless network where the user of user’s are connected to the internet using air media through an acces point’ divice. This wireless-based network makes it easier for people to access the internet wherever they are. The design of this network installation consists of installing an RJ- 45 connector on a UTP cable, configuring Power Beam Radio, Access Point, Configuration Server Mikrotik Router Board RB 941, Configuring Bandwidth management, with the existence of a wireless network at the ITB Indonesia Central and Branch campuses, Will make it easier for employees and public to access the internet easily and practically.

Abstract

Human resources or employees in a company organization are very important to support the progress and quality of the company in achieving its goals. Having employees with good performance in a company does not just come from the employees themselves but there must also be a role from the company. Providing rewards to employees is one factor that can be used as a basis for providing motivation to employees. Performance appraisal is a process of measuring the results of work provided by employees, where this assessment will later provide results on who the best employees have the best performance to get rewards from the company. The problem that often occurs is that selecting the best employees or evaluating employee performance is based on subjective factors, which of course is detrimental to other employees and also has an impact on the company. Decision Support System (DSS) is a process that is part of the information system. Where the decision support system will assist in the process of completing semi-structured data processing. The Weight Aggregate Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method is a method that can be used in making decisions that have many attributes or criteria or is also known as MCDM (Multi Criteria Decision Making). The method used in this research is the WASPAS method which can provide the best alternative results, namely alternative A6 with the name "Tian" with a Qi value = 0.9815 which was selected as the best employee.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the performance of the Random Forest and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithms in predicting diabetes risk based on numerical clinical data. The study used a dataset of 757 samples with eight clinical features, namely the number of pregnancies, glucose levels, blood pressure, skin thickness, insulin, body mass index (BMI), familial diabetes predisposition function, and age. The data was divided into 80% training data and 20% testing data, with data scale adjustments to support the classification process. The evaluation results showed that Random Forest produced better performance with an accuracy of 73.7% and an F1-Score of 0.623, compared to KNN with an accuracy of 72.4% and an F1-Score of 0.604. Comparison of classification results showed that Random Forest was able to provide more consistent predictions in distinguishing groups at risk of diabetes from healthy groups. The contribution of this study is to provide an empirical evaluation of the description of two classification algorithms commonly used on numerical clinical data and show that Random Forest is more suitable for the development of a decision support system for diabetes risk prediction. This research can be the basis for the development of more accurate prediction models through the use of broader datasets and other machine learning methods.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a home access security system with a combination of Arduino-based sensors and buzzer methods and to address the problem of home downtime. This research has 3 methods, namely observation, laboratory research, and library study. This study was created to develop a tool for detecting a car using a PIR sensor that can be controlled using a smartphone and notifications directly go to the Telegram application that can be monitored anywhere and anytime, so that when homeowners live for a long period of time they are not too worried while the tool we created uses sensors located on 4 sides of the house. In the design of this tool, the author hopes that it can be developed to be more sophisticated and have even more useful benefits.
