Abstract

Background Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most the people who contracted the COVID-19 had has experience mild to moderate symptoms, and will recover without special treatment. Purpose This research was going to find out the factors related to people's interest in taking the COVID-19 vaccination in Kebun Kelapa Village in 2022. The design This study used an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in Kebun Kelapa Village. The population in this research was the people in Kebun Kelapa Village, totaling 3094 people. The sampling technique was accidental sampling using the slovin formula, namely 97 respondents using unviariat and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results research conducted using the chi-square test on occupations with an interest in participating in the COVID-19 vaccination p-value = 0.003, knowledge p-value = 0.000, attitude p-value = 0.005 and age p-value = 0.001. The conclusion in this research in this study shows that there is a significant relationship between work, knowledge, attitudes, and age with an interest in taking the COVID-19 vaccination in Kebun Kelapa Village in 2022. It is suggested that it can be used as input and information to the community in Kebun Kelapa Village so they can take the COVID vaccination -19

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a serious problem with a rapidly increasing incidence. Almost all groups of people around the world are attacked by this disease. High blood sugar levels interfere with concentration to sleep well, due to the frequent urge to urinate at night and excessive thirst. The study was to determine the relationship between the quality of sleep and blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study was a descriptive correlative with a cross-sectional approach. Seventy-seven respondents were involved in this study and were selected by accidental sampling. Data were collected using The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index to determine the quality of sleep and blood glucose levels were measured using Nesco Multicheck. Data were analyzed using chi-square. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the quality of sleep and blood glucose levels with a p-value of 0.001. It can be concluded that the quality of sleep is related to the patient's blood glucose levels, so it is very important for patients to keep going with good quality of quality.

Abstract

Gejala stroke dapat muncul secara mendadak, dan penanganan medis yang cepat dalam waktu "golden period" (3–4,5 jam pertama) sangat menentukan keberhasilan terapi dan mencegah kecacatan permanen. Deteksi dini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam penanganan terhadap serangan stroke. Deteksi dini dengan slogan Segera Ke RS, Se: Senyum tidak simetris (wajah mencong), Ge: Gerak separuh tubuh melemah, Ra: Rasa bicara pelo atau sulit bicara, Ke RS: Segera ke Rumah Sakit. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya deteksi dini Stroke sebagai penanganan awal pada tanda stroke. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Padang Brahrang, dengan jumlah 62 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan edukasi kesehatan dengan menggunakan leaflet yang berisi defenisi stroke, penyebab stroke, deteksi stroke dengan slogan “segera ke RS” dan pencegahan stroke. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan baik dan meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta PKM.

Abstract

Occupational stress is a common problem experienced by nurses due to high job demands, heavy workloads, and responsibility for patient safety. Poorly managed stress can negatively impact nurses' physical and psychological health, ultimately affecting their quality of life. Therefore, research is needed to determine the relationship between stress levels and the quality of life of nurses in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and the quality of life of nurses at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital, Medan, in 2025. This study used a quantitative design with a correlational approach and cross-sectional methods. The study population was all 175 nurses working at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital, Medan, with a sample size of 64 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and quota sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted using a stress questionnaire and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire to measure quality of life. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analyzes using the chi-square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced mild and moderate stress (31 respondents (48.4%), respectively), and the majority of nurses (40 respondents (62.5%) reported a good quality of life. Bivariate levels analysis revealed a significant relationship between stress and nurses' quality of life. Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital, Medan.
