Abstract

Anemia is a medical condition that typically arises when there is a significant decrease in the number of red blood cells in the body. During pregnancy, anemia generally occurs in the first and third trimesters with hemoglobin (Hb) levels below 11 g%, and in the second trimester with Hb levels below 10.5 g%. This study aims to examine the relationship between dietary patterns and physical activity with the incidence of anemia among pregnant women in the working area of Puskesmas NoN Rawat Inap Indraloka Jaya, Way Kenanga District, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. This descriptive correlational study employs a cross-sectional design conducted from July 10 to 16, 2024. The sampling method used is total population sampling, with the sample size equal to the total population of 68 individuals. The statistical test applied is the Chi-Square test. Data collection was performed through interviews and Hb checks using a GcHB digital device. The results show that the majority of pregnant women with inadequate dietary patterns have anemia (23.5%), while those with light physical activity and anemia account for (25.0%). Statistical test findings indicate a significant correlation between dietary patterns and the incidence of anemia with a P-value of 0.000, and a significant relationship between physical activity and the occurrence of anemia with a P-value of 0.000. This suggests that the relationship between dietary patterns, physical activity, and the incidence of anemia is very strong.

Abstract

Emotions are an important part of human life. Since birth, humans have had various emotions, such as happy, sad, angry and afraid. The standard for recognizing emotions is at the age of 5-6 years. However, in reality, not all Happy Holy Kids Malang Kindergarten children recognize their own emotions. The aim of this community service is to introduce basic emotions to Happy Holy Kids Malang Kindergarten children. The method for recognizing emotions is through education using emotional cup media. The result of this community service is that Happy Holy Kids Kindergarten children can recognize and understand the basic emotions that they need to recognize. They can talk about the emotions they have felt or are currently feeling. Suggestions for the next community service, you can use more interesting media. If you still use an emotional cup, then it should be made even more interesting and with more varied emotions.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has led adolescents to engage intensively with social media, influencing the quality of their social interactions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social media dependency and adolescents’ social interaction dynamics through William Glasser’s Choice Theory framework. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving two vocational high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and storyboard techniques. The findings reveal that excessive social media use disrupts daily routines, fosters emotional dependency, and demonstrates the ambivalent role of social media as both a trigger for addiction and a source of self-motivation. Conversely, involvement in real-life activities, such as entrepreneurship, served as an adaptive mechanism to mitigate digital dependency. The analysis, based on Choice Theory, highlights that adolescents’ psychological needs fulfilled through social media remain superficial, underscoring the importance of balancing online and offline activities to support healthier social and emotional development.Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mendorong remaja semakin intensif menggunakan media sosial, yang berdampak pada kualitas interaksi sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keterkaitan antara ketergantungan media sosial dengan dinamika interaksi sosial remaja melalui kerangka teori William Glasser. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan dua siswi SMK yang dipilih secara purposive. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, serta teknik storyboard. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial berlebihan dapat menimbulkan disrupsi pola hidup, ketergantungan emosional, serta ambivalensi fungsi media sosial sebagai pemicu kecanduan sekaligus motivasi perubahan diri. Temuan lain memperlihatkan bahwa keterlibatan dalam aktivitas nyata, seperti berjualan, mampu menjadi mekanisme adaptif untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada media sosial. Analisis berdasarkan Choice Theory menegaskan bahwa pemenuhan kebutuhan psikologis remaja melalui media sosial cenderung bersifat semu, sehingga keseimbangan antara aktivitas daring dan luring menjadi krusial bagi perkembangan sosial dan emosional mereka.
