Abstract

Implementing the COVID-19 vaccination queue system by the 052/Wijayakrama Military Resort Command in Tangerang is a form of community service carried out by Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN). This system was created to simplify the vaccination process and reduce the waiting time for vaccination participants. This website-based queuing system is designed with the Laravel framework using the rapid application development model and functionality testing using black box testing. The results of functionality testing of this queuing system indicate that the system can function properly and meet the needs to simplify the vaccination process. More than 1,000 people have used this queuing system, making it easy for the public to get the COVID-19 vaccination. Applying the COVID-19 vaccination queue system by the 052/Wijayakrama Military Resort Command in Tangerang is an example of a technology application to support government programs tackling the COVID-19 pandemic. This system has made it easy for people to get vaccinated and has helped the government to organize and manage the vaccination process better.

Abstract

This research takes a case study approach to a company that provides digital marketing services. The company still relies on a manual process to record transactions on a spreadsheet. Their admin keeps track of clients' hosting and domain information in a Microsoft Excel file, and customers are not notified of their lease payment deadline in advance. There are also certain billing issues for service and subscription costs that are issued to customers. The proposed system is built utilizing the rapid application development (RAD) methodology. This method enables rapid system development. Furthermore, the RAD technique requires user participation during system development. The system was created using the PHP programming language, the CodeIgniter 3 framework, and MySQL as the database. It also utilizes the PHP WhatsApp Gateway API. The final outcome is a web-based billing tracking system that will send billing information to consumers via WhatsApp and email, as well as a notification of payment.

Abstract

Digital technology is an integral part of the industrial era 4.0. Every industrial sector must employ technology to stay competitive. This research uses a case study from the CV DV Star company, which operates in the fashion industry. This company is beginning to require an integrated sales and distribution process in order to minimize human error. We propose to build a web-based information system for the sales and distribution process, which will enable users to manage data digitally, eliminating the need for paper-based. This system will cover inventory management, selling transactions, production process, and the reporting process. The system will be designed using the UML modeling language such as use case diagrams and activity diagrams. The method used to develop the system is prototyping. In the end, this web-based information system was implemented in the company.
