Abstract

Traffic education has the potential to reduce accident rates by changing the behavior and attitudes of road users. Through effective outreach and training, road safety messages can be instilled in public awareness, thereby reducing violations of traffic rules and avoiding risky behavior that causes accidents. Additionally, traffic education also helps improve driving skills and situational awareness, which are important factors in reducing accidents. Which can be taught to children at primary and secondary education levels. The research results show that Traffic Education for Elementary School and Middle School Children is one of the important programs carried out to provide children with an understanding of safe and correct traffic procedures. This program aims to provide knowledge and skills to children in dealing with various traffic situations around them. Traffic education for elementary school and MI children is carried out in stages and is adjusted to the child's age and development level. Civics and Religion are subjects that are able to contribute to solutions to the various crises that hit Indonesia, especially multidimensional crises related to Values, Norms, Morals and Traffic Ethics through Education.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah plastik rumah tangga menjadi tantangan utama dalam tata kelola lingkungan perkotaan, terutama pada wilayah dengan kepadatan hunian tinggi. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pengelolaan sampah plastik berbasis RT sebagai strategi pengurangan beban Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA) di RT.03/RW.09 Kelurahan Pedurungan Kidul. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah partisipatif berbasis komunitas melalui tahapan survei awal, sosialisasi pemilahan dari sumber, pembentukan struktur pengelola RT, penyediaan sarana pendukung, pengumpulan terjadwal, serta monitoring dan pencatatan volume plastik. Evaluasi dilakukan selama tiga bulan (November 2025"Januari 2026) menggunakan indikator tingkat partisipasi, volume plastik terkumpul, nilai ekonomi, dan perubahan perilaku pemilahan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi warga dari 50 Persen menjadi 90 Persen dalam tiga bulan. Volume plastik terkumpul meningkat dari 6 kg pada bulan pertama menjadi 12 kg pada bulan ketiga, dengan total kumulatif 26 kg yang berhasil dicegah masuk ke TPA. Selain itu, kegiatan menghasilkan nilai ekonomi melalui penyaluran ke pengepul lokal dan mendorong terbentuknya norma kolektif pemilahan di tingkat rumah tangga. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model berbasis RT efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi warga, menekan residu plastik, serta memperkuat praktik ekonomi sirkular pada skala mikro. Model ini memiliki potensi replikasi pada RT lain sebagai strategi pengurangan beban TPA berbasis komunitas.
