Abstract

The construction of the Mbola So studio house, in Hewuli Village, began with the wish of the weaving craftsmen in the Mbola So community who wanted to change the location of the refuge they were living in into a tourist spot, especially weaving. The uniqueness of this region is the Palue patterned weaving with natural colors. This desire is slowly being realized by starting several construction of studio houses. Collaboration was also carried out with the technical team from Nusa Nipa University, the Architecture and Civil Study program which involved lecturers and students. Several processes were carried out in this design, such as community consultation, location selection and measurement, and design and construction of studio houses. The existence of the “Mbola So Studio House” is expected to be able to increase the production of woven motifs with typical Palue motifs, improve the economy of local residents and be able to create new tourist destinations for the Sikka Regency area.

Abstract

Reinforced concrete plays a scurecal role in the construction industry. The primary components of concrete are cement, fine aggregate (sand),coarse aggregate (gravel), and water, with the potential addition of chemical additives to enhance its uality. On the other hand, steel stuctures are excellent for earthuake resistance due to the material’s superior strength and ductility compared to otherstructural materials like concrete. The purpose of this research is to determine the budget for reinforced concrete structures, compare the costs between steel and reinforced concrete construction, and evaluate the cost difference between steel and reinforced concrete sctructures. The public service mall project data indicates that a steel structure was used. The results of the cost comparison showed that steel sctructures are more economical. The cost for the existing steel constuction was 1.390.830.035,73, while the cost for concrete concstruction was 1.572.927.091,00 , resulting in a cost difference of 182.092.055,27.Reason :1. Because rein forced concrete structures have many materials such as cement, sand and gravel and various additional materials. The large number of materials and long assembly results in high construction costs. 2. Because in the planning of the reinforcement of the first and second floors and the roof top of thr slab from the beams and columns for the main reinforcement and stirrup reinforcement/beugel I use the some dimensions, namely for the main reinforcement I use iron Ø16 and stirrup reinforcement Ø10

Abstract

Occupational safety and health are essential considerations in the construction sector. This research aims to assess the impact of safety and health on worker productivity in buiding construction projects in sikka regency. A quantitative approach was employed, with data analysed using descriptive statistics. The respondents for this study were selected through purposive sampling, resulting in a total sample size of 40 participants. The data collection method involved distributing questionnsires directly to the participans. Data analysis utilizes IBM SPSSS Statistics Version 20, which incorporates various techniques, including descriptive statistical tests, validity assessments, reliability evaluations, classical assumption checks, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using t-tests and F-tests. The research findings show that accupational safety and health do not impact worker productivity in building construction projects in Sikka Regency individualyy and collectively.

Abstract

From the results of the survey conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes, the maximum parking accumulation was 93 vehicles for motorcycles, the parking volume was 168 motorcycles, the PTO for motorcycles was 0.38 vehicles/plot/hour, and the maximum motorcycle parking index was 38%. This means that the condition of motorcycle parking can still accommodate vehicles because it is less than 100%. Parking Supply at Upp was 21.11 motorcycles, Parking Needs (NP) for motorcycles was 439 parking plots. This study focuses on the analysis of contractor performance and its impact on the quality of building construction project implementation in Sikka Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents, including contractors and consultants who have experience in construction projects for the past five years. The results of the analysis show that there are 15 variables that influence contractor performance. Motivation and material factors were found to be dominant factors, with a mean value of 4.638 and 4.65, respectively, indicating that contractor motivation and the quality of the materials used greatly determine the success of the project. In addition, the analysis also identified aspects of project quality, such as timeliness, conformity to specifications, durability, and aesthetics, all of which were in the good category.
