Abstract

This research aims to understand and knowledge about the analysis of skills program placement and Industrial Work Practices (Internship) on student work readiness at SMK Negeri 6 Jambi City. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method using descriptive analysis techniques. The research results show that evaluation of learning during Prakerin can contribute and provide additional information for the development of vocational school skills programs, expanding subject matter, increasing students' interests and talents, as well as their future readiness in entering the real world of work.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying conventional learning methods and the RBL learning model in increasing the learning creativity of class XI IPS students in economics subjects at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi. The research design that will be carried out in this research is a quasi-experimental research with a pre-test – post-test control group design model with one type of treatment. The results of the research show that there are differences in the influence of the conventional learning model and the RBL learning model on the creativity of class XI IPS students. Students who learn using the RBL learning model obtain the best creative learning abilities.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine (1) Knowing the description of the family environment, learning styles, and learning outcomes in the economic subjects of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. (2) Knowing the influence of the family environment on learning outcomes in economic subjects in class XI IPS Negeri 1 Jambi City. (3) Knowing the effect of learning styles on learning outcomes in economic subjects in class XI IPS Negeri 1 Jambi City. 4) Knowing the effect of the family environment and student learning styles on student learning outcomes of class XI IPS on economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. This research design uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Where the population in this study were 143 students with a sample of 106 students. The research instrument test technique used in this study is the Validity and Reliability Test, while the classical assumption tests used are Quantitative Descriptive Analysis, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Multiple Regression Test. The results showed that: (1) The family environment and learning style were included in the fairly good category with an average TCR (X1) of 77.10%, (X2) 75.36%, and student learning outcomes in economic subjects were obtained. A score of less than 68 was 72 students, while those who scored above 68 were 34 students.(2) There is an influence of the family environment on learning outcomes which can be seen from the tcount value of the family environment variable (X1) of 2,212> 1,658. (3) There is an effect of learning styles on learning outcomes which can be seen from the tcount> ttable that the tcount of learning style variable (X2) is 2.184> 1.658). 4) There is an effect of the family environment and student learning styles on student learning outcomes with a value of 8.892 with a significant value of .000. Thus, a good family environment will have a positive impact on children so that children become enthusiastic in carrying out the learning process, and learning styles are influential enough for each individual to absorb information from outside himself. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) to find out the implementation of economic learning in online learning in class XII students at SMAN 3 Jambi City through SWOT analysis, 2) to find out what alternatives to overcome learning difficulties experienced by class XII students at SMAN 3 Kota Jambi through a SWOT analysis. The research design is a qualitative research, using a case study approach through a SWOT analysis. The objects used in this research are class XII students at SMAN 3 Jambi City. The result of this research is that the implementation of economics learning in online learning in class XII of SMAN 3 Jambi City during the covid-19 pandemic has been carried out quite well. The applications that are most often used to support the implementation of online learning are WhatsApp, Google Classroom and Google Meet. The application can only be operated by utilizing communication tools such as mobile phones or laptops that are connected to the internet network. Although the implementation of online learning has been carried out quite well, students still have difficulty understanding the material provided by the educator, the internet network that is owned is unstable, the explanation given by the educator is only one-way so that it makes students find it difficult to ask questions. Keywords: Learning Difficulties, Online Learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership style on the discipline of students at the Islamic SMAjauharul Falah Al-Islamy Sungai Terap Village, Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the research show that leadership style has a significant and positive effect on student discipline at the Islamic SMAjauharul Falah Al-Islamy, Sungai Terap Village, Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to (1) Know the general description of pedagogic competence, professional competence and teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Jambi City. (2) Knowing the importance of pedagogical competence on the performance of teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Jambi City. (3) Knowing the importance of professional competence on the performance of teachers in SMK Negeri 1Kota Jambi. (4) Knowing how much influence pedagogic competence and professional competence have on the performance of teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Jambi City.This research design uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques, through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Where the population in this study were 109 teachers and a sample of 86 teachers. The research instrument test technique used in this study is the validity and reliability test, while the classical assumption test used is quantitative descriptive analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and multiple regression test.The results showed that: (1) pedagogical competence was included in the fairly good category with a TCR value of 68.03%, professional competence in the good category with a TCR value of 80.39%. (2) There is an effect of pedagogical competence on teacher performance with a tcount of 2.405 at a significant level of 0.018. (3) There is an effect of professional competence on teacher performance with a tcount of 2.897 at a significant level of 0.005. (4) pedagogical competence and professional competence have an influence on teacher performance which can be seen from the Ftable value of 6,552 with a significant value of 0.002. Thus, teacher performance is a description of the work done by educators with the tasks they carry out through pedagogical competences and professional competences that an educator must have.Keywords: Pedagogic Competence, Professional Competence, Teacher Performance

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategy for using SWOT analysis and its implementation in adjusting the competency of graduate students at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City based on their absorption capacity in the business and industrial world. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. The results of the research show that the absorption capacity of the business world and the industrial world for graduates of SMKN 2 Jambi City is still relatively low, so in implementing learning activities you must adapt competencies that lead to the characteristics needed by DU/DI to be able to do work satisfactorily in accordance with their field. The characteristics referred to refer to the knowledge and skills that individuals have and that individuals need to enable them to adapt to the demands of the world of work and the industrial world.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an open and creative way of thinking, as a representation that emphasizes divergent rather than convergent thinking patterns, has a high sensitivity to problems in associative, elaborative thinking in turn to be able to improve the teacher's ability to make new combinations in a learning process. which was held at SD Negeri 133 Jambi City. This research design uses descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, the technique in this study uses a purposive technique, namely the determination of informants is not based on guidelines or based on population representation, but based on the depth of information needed related to the research problem. The results showed that: 1) Teachers were still focused on the related curriculum due to the time and hours of study, as well as maintaining learning outcomes, 2) Empowering students' character tended to maintain academic achievement and school policies.
