Abstract

The research aims to determine the organizational communication model of the mosque welfare agency in improving mosque management in Subulussalam City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using a field research design to obtain an in-depth description of the data. Data obtained through interviews, document studies, and observation. Purposive interview of the Prosperity Board of the Great Mosque, Assilmi and Taqwa in the City of Subulussalam. Non-participant observation to obtain data from activities inside and outside the mosque as far as they are observed. Meanwhile, document studies are used to discover the history, vision and mission, BKM structure, and the main work programs of the three mosques studied. The results of the study show that: 1) The organizational communication model of the Mosque Prosperity Agency in improving the management of mosques in the city of Subulussalam generally uses an interpersonal communication model, namely the process of exchanging information between one person and another can be directly known, because within us alone there are communication components such as source, message, channel receiver and feedback; 2) The communication media for the organization of the mosque's prosperity agency, namely the delivery of information, which is carried out directly or indirectly. Direct communication media within the organization, namely the eyes and ears and indirect communication media that are carried out using mobile media, WhastApp, Facebook, Messenger; 3) Organizational communication barriers of the mosque prosperity agency in managing the mosque are technical barriers, limited mosque facilities and equipment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of community participation in reducing the risk of waste pollution in Tanjung Baru Village, Morawa District. The problem of village waste is a critical issue because it can have negative impacts on health, the environment, and the quality of life of the community if not handled properly. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interviews, and documentation methods to explore community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness. The results show that community participation is manifested in various forms, including household waste management, mutual cooperation activities to clean the environment, the utilization of organic waste into compost, and awareness of disposing of waste in the provided bins. Obstacles faced by the community include limited waste management facilities, lack of knowledge about the impacts of waste, and low awareness of some residents. Nevertheless, in general, the community shows a fairly good concern in efforts to reduce the risk of village waste pollution. Thus, the active role of the community is very important and needs to be increased through counseling, mentoring, and the provision of adequate waste management facilities to create a clean, healthy, and sustainable village environment.

Abstract

Abstract: Data security is a crucial and urgent issue to address, especially with the increasing number of cyber threats such as hacking attacks, data theft, and malware that can cause material and non-material losses to individuals and organizations. This study aims to implement the International Data Encryption Algorithm (IDEA) symmetric cryptography algorithm to secure text data in .xls format files that are often used to store important and confidential documents. More specifically, this study was conducted to secure .xls file data using the IDEA algorithm and to design and develop a web-based data security application that utilizes the International Data Encryption Algorithm (IDEA) algorithm. The IDEA algorithm is implemented in a web application built using the PHP programming language, where the encryption process is carried out by converting text data from .xls files into ciphertext that cannot be read by humans or machines without the right key, while the decryption process is carried out to return the data to its original form. The results of the study show that the IDEA algorithm is able to encrypt and decrypt .xls files effectively and efficiently with a relatively fast processing time and a very high level of security against various attacks, including brute force attacks.   Keywords: Data Security, Cryptography, IDEA Algorithm, Symmetric Encryption, Web Application Abstrak: Keamanan data menjadi salah satu isu yang sangat krusial dan mendesak untuk diatasi, terutama dengan semakin meningkatnya berbagai jenis ancaman siber seperti serangan hacking, pencurian data, dan malware yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian material maupun non-material bagi individu maupun organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan algoritma kriptografi simetri International Data Encryption Algorithm (IDEA) guna mengamankan data teks pada file berformat .xls yang sering digunakan untuk menyimpan dokumen penting dan rahasia. Secara lebih spesifik, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengamankan data file .xls menggunakan algoritma IDEA dan  merancang serta mengembangkan aplikasi pengamanan data berbasis web yang memanfaatkan algoritma International Data Encryption Algorithm (IDEA). Algoritma IDEA diimplementasikan pada aplikasi web yang dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, di mana proses enkripsi dilakukan dengan mengonversi data teks dari file .xls menjadi ciphertext yang tidak dapat dibaca oleh manusia maupun mesin tanpa kunci yang tepat, sedangkan proses dekripsi dilakukan untuk mengembalikan data ke bentuk aslinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma IDEA mampu mengenkripsi dan mendekripsi file .xls secara efektif dan efisien dengan waktu proses yang relatif cepat serta tingkat keamanan yang sangat tinggi terhadap berbagai serangan, termasuk brute force attack.   Kata Kunci: Keamanan Data, Kriptografi, Algoritma IDEA, Enkripsi Simetri, Aplikasi Web
